Dear CUPS Friends,

As you might be aware, the current election cycle is about to end. We are extremely excited to officially announce that the election season has started. Cambridge University Persian Society would cordially invite capable individuals to team up and form the new committee for the year 2019 - 2020. Choosing an effective team of talented people is critical for bringing about the constant improvements in the ways CUPS operates and serves the community.
We are officially announcing that all the positions, including President, Vice-president, Treasures, and Officers are up for grabs. If you are interested or know anyone who fits for these positions, please encourage them to nominate themselves. Self-nominations are highly encouraged. We encourage all the nominees to team up with those who can create a synergetic team with a unified vision.
If you are interested in any of the positions, please fill in the form provided below to express your candidacy by Thursday 11:59 PM, 21st of November, 2019.

The election session will take place on Saturday 23rd of November 2019 at 6:00 PM at Eastwood Room, Postdoc Centre, 16 Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1SB. All candidates will be invited to present their visions, plans, and their background before the CUPS members on Election Day.
All the 2018- 2019 active CUPS members are eligible to cast their ballots on the day of the election in person.

We would also like to remind you that the nominees for the President and Treasurer positions must be affiliated with Cambridge University (students, Postdocs, Staff, etc.) for the academic year of 2019- 2020. Other positions are open for all Cambridge residents.
Feel free to direct your enquires to the current committee members. We are happy to help and share our experiences.
