The event is scheduled for Saturday at 7:00 pm. Please ensure you arrive no later than 8:00 pm, as we plan to serve food around 8:30 pm.

The dress code is formal, so please dress smartly for the occasion.

There will be an open bar at the venue where you can purchase alcoholic drinks. We kindly request that you refrain from bringing any alcoholic drinks with you, as per the venue's regulations.

Hello everyone,

The Election Day and annual meeting event has been moved to next Saturday. This will be the final event with this year's committee. During the event, we will hold elections for the next committee. After the elections, we will have a get-together for about 1-2 hours to say goodbye to the previous committee and meet the new committee.

If you are interested in having a role in the next committee, please message us, and we will include your name in the election on that day.

The President:
Leads the Society and Executive Committee, chairs all meetings, resolves issues not covered by other officers, and must have served a year on the committee without disciplinary action.

The Vice President:
Chairs meetings in the President's absence, helps resolve issues, attends external meetings, and ensures smooth operations by assisting committee members with their responsibilities.

The Secretary:
Maintains membership lists, takes minutes at meetings, shares announcements, and manages the Society’s social media pages.

The Junior Treasurer:
Handles daily financial matters, produces the yearly financial report, assists in audits, and follows financial responsibilities outlined in the constitution.

The Senior Treasurer:
A member of the Regent House or approved individual, appointed by the committee, and serves as an ex officio member.

Dear CUPS Members,

I’m thrilled to announce the upcoming "Harmony of The East" concert, organized by the Cambridge Nahoft Music Band. Cambridge Nahoft is a newly established ensemble formed by some of our Cambridge graduates and students, with the aim of showcasing our traditional music to both Iranian and international audiences. This concert will be a special collaboration between Cambridge Nahoft and Cambridge Takht, an Arabic band also based in Cambridge, bringing together talented musicians from both groups.

As CUPS members, Cambridge Nahoft has kindly offered a special promotional link for discounted tickets: £9 for students and £15 for non-student members.
