In China, vending machines selling live cats, dogs, and rodents have become a reality.
These machines hold the animals in small enclosed compartments, similar to how soft drinks or chips are stored.
Videos of these exhausted pets, either sleeping or staring into space behind transparent doors, have gone viral in China.
The controversial business model has sparked outrage and debate. While some argue that the animals appear healthy in the videos, others claim to have seen similar machines in other cities where the pets were sick or even dead.
The situation has prompted discussions about animal welfare and ethics. It's a disturbing practice that raises serious concerns about the treatment of animals and the need for stronger regulations to protect them from such exploitation.
