Press Release

H.E. Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, wishes to inform the public as well as members of national and international media as follows:

On March 24, 2026, Thai media reports—which quoted the Thai intelligence chief accusing Cambodia of preparing for a third armed conflict— are incorrect and baseless. The Royal Cambodian Armed Forces firmly adhere to the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special GBC Meeting dated December 27, 2025, the Joint Declaration on Peace between Cambodia and Thailand dated October 26, 2025, as well as other relevant documents, and follow the orders of the Royal Government of Cambodia to maintain peace, stability, and security along the border. The Cambodian armed forces fully support the Royal Government's position on resolving border issues peacefully, based on international law and the conventions, treaties, and existing agreements between the two countries.

The public, as well as national and international journalists, are hereby informed of the facts regarding this matter.

Statement of Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
CD-Center convened the Regional Dissemination Workshop on the ASEAN Framework for an Integrated ICT Talent & Skill Qualifications, via hybrid format on 31 March, 2026.

This project is implemented by CD-Center in close coordination with MPTC with the support from AICTF, to support ADM 2025–particularly DO2 and EA2.8, which calls for regional mechanisms to encourage skills in integrated and end-to-end services. The workshop served as the project’s completion and represents Cambodia’s contribution to ASEAN’s digital agenda.

The framework identifies persistent skills gaps–particularly in advanced and specialised domains–and underscores the need for stronger alignment between education, training systems, and industry demand. As a voluntary regional reference, it aims to strengthen ICT talent development, enhance workforce readiness, and promote greater regional cooperation and mobility.
