😳 After years of watching projects succeed and fail, I’ve come to categorize the ones that actually have a chance when launching a token into three main types:

1. Infrastructure Projects with Strong Industry Backing

These projects know exactly what they’re building and who their audience is. More importantly, they have serious backing from major industry players.

Ever seen an infrastructure project raise $10 million+ and wondered why they need so much funding, who’s going to use their product, or where their revenue is coming from? If you’re asking those questions, you’re not the target audience.

These projects operate in highly specialized niches where capital is already flowing. BTC staking protocols, new blockchain architectures, solutions that aren’t built for mass retail adoption but serve an ecosystem that demands and funds their existence.

If you don’t have a clear understanding of who your product is for, how it fits into the industry, and why people should be willing to pay for it before you even launch, your chances of raising real money, let alone building a high-tech infrastructure project, are close to zero.

2. Projects That Fit Into a Strong Narrative

This is the single biggest factor that newcomers to Web3 underestimate.

Web3 is still the Wild West, barely regulated, highly volatile, and driven entirely by attention. The more attention your project attracts, and the higher the quality of that attention, the greater its chances of success.

A strong narrative acts like a force multiplier. It brings in free exposure, organic hype, and an audience that actively searches for your project rather than you chasing users. Social media algorithms start recommending it, communities latch onto it, and suddenly, everyone is talking about it.

And here’s the truth: the audience doesn’t care what you’re actually building!

What they see is a pattern:
