One of the side events of the 2023 FIDE World Championship Match will be... another match, where top female players from Kazakhstan will face a "World" team.
Each team will consist of eight players, a combination of youth and experience, including females U20, U18, U16, and U14. Kazakhstan's team captain is WGM Gulmira Dauletova, while WGM Dana Reizniece-Ozola, Deputy Chair of FIDE's Management Board, will lead the World team.
