At the one-year anniversary of the conflict between Israel and the terrorist Palestinian organization Hamas, over 41,000 people had died in Gaza, the majority of them civilians.
Experts also criticized the international community and the United States for their ineffective diplomatic efforts to put an end to the conflict in Gaza, which broke out on October 7, 2023.
A bigger regional war is now brewing in the Middle East as a result of the recent intensification of the conflict between Israel and the terrorist Lebanese group Hezbollah, which is supported by Iran.
Following the detonation of thousands of Hezbollah-used walkie-talkies and handheld pagers around Lebanon last month, both sides have engaged in intense gunfire. Israel was heavily blamed for these strikes.

The recent heavy rains have brought an abundance of hammerhead flatworms to Houston. These poisonous worms, which are dangerous to people and animals alike, proliferate quickly and endanger ecosystems by feeding on earthworms.
After a significant downpour, they can be seen on roadways and on lawns.
Beyond just their poisonous slime, hammerhead worms are dangerous. Their capacity to reproduce asexually and transmit parasites makes them even more hazardous.
