Michael Saylor posted an AI-generated ad for his preferred stock STRC. It looks like a cheap ad for a pyramid scheme 😐
Strategy Inc is a publicly traded company that stopped doing software and pivoted entirely to accumulating Bitcoin. Their business model: raise capital through stock offerings, convertible bonds, and preferred stock, then buy Bitcoin with the proceeds. The stock trades at a premium to its Bitcoin holdings, which lets them keep issuing new paper at favorable terms.
🔍 STRC is their preferred stock, currently advertised at 11.50% annualized dividend paid monthly. The yield doesn't come from any operating revenue. It comes from the same capital raising machine — new money in, old holders paid. As long as investors keep buying the offerings and Bitcoin keeps going up, the math works.
But what if there is high demand for STRC = high dividend obligations, and the price of BTC doesn't rise? Then they will have to sell BTC to pay investors!
But what if Bitcoin enters an unprecedentedly long bear market? The NAV premium collapses, new capital raises become impossible or deeply dilutive, and there is nothing left to pay the dividend with. Preferred stockholders have a claim on residual assets, but that claim sits behind debt holders, and the company carries significant leverage.
🟠 Strategy now holds around 762k BTC — 3.63% of the max 21m supply, worth roughly $51.7 billion at current prices. They cannot meaningfully sell without destroying the price of the asset their entire structure depends on. A forced liquidation scenario would send Bitcoin into a spiral that takes the rest of the market with it.
And yeah, promoting this to retail as passive income via retirement fantasy ad is a choice. Looks a bit concerning😂

A few days ago the S&P 500 was down less than 10% from its ATH, which doesn't feel like a generational buying opportunity. But underneath the index, some of the best companies in the world are deep in bear market territory 🔍
Four blue chips currently down from ATH:
🔴 Google: -19%
🔴 Visa: -21.2%
🔴 Meta: -29%
🔴 Microsoft: -33.5%
Microsoft's weekly RSI touched 26 at the lows. The others are all approached levels of serious oversold conditions on the weekly timeframe.
🤑 These are dominant businesses with real cash flows getting dragged down by macro conditions that will eventually reverse.
If you are bearish on this year and next, that's fine. These aren't trades. Buying quality at a 20-35% discount to ATH and holding for 5+ years has worked every single time in modern market history.
🤷♀️ The question is whether you'll actually buy when everything looks bad, or wait until it feels safe and the discount is gone.

BREAKING: Bitcoin Just Hit Zero 😱
Bitcoin just dumped to $0 on every exchange at once. The cause is confirmed: Michael Saylor sold all his 762,099 BTC in a single market order.
🔽 Price dropped 100% from $68,600 to $0 in one second.
Eyewitnesses report that due to lack of liquidity, Saylor was spotted outside the NYSE in New York running down the street with a giant bag full of freshly mined Bitcoin coins, desperately begging pedestrians to buy them😱
Crypto influencers on YouTube are saying this is the final correction before the bounce. Tom Lee remains bullish🤔

Twitch owes Russia 24 novemdecillion dollars 💰
In December 2022, a Moscow court fined Twitch 100k rubles a day for suspending the account of a sanctioned Russian streamer named Likkrit. At the time, that was roughly $1,100 daily. Twitch didn't pay. Then Twitch left Russia entirely.
📆 The fine came with a ridiculous weekly doubling clause. 191 weeks have passed.
The current total, in dollars:
$24,166,841,681,238,720,940,767,789,279,349,515,701,994,068,461,186,532,874,641,900 👀
That number has a name: 24 novemdecillion. A novemdecillion is 1 followed by 60 zeros🤣

"We're going to hit them extremely hard over the next 2-3 weeks. We're going to bring them back to the stone ages, where they belong!" 😱
Trump just addressed the nation on the Iran War. Key points from the speech👇
⏺ The war will last another 2-3 weeks
⏺ The US will strike Iranian power plants if no deal is reached
⏺ Core strategic objectives are "close to completion"
⏺ "Iran's navy is gone and their air force is in ruins"
⏺ The US will stop importing oil through the Strait of Hormuz
⏺ NATO was called out directly
Markets sold off anyway, even though Trump said almost nothing new. He didn't explicitly de-escalate, and the absence of a ceasefire signal was enough. Oil is at $103, stock futures hit a session low, bonds, gold and silver are selling off again📉

DefiLlama's AI tool is free, for now 😮
DefiLlama temporarily opened access to LlamaAI, their AI layer built on top of the platform's DeFi data. It was previously locked behind a $49/month Pro subscription. No word on when it closes.
📊 The tool lets you query DeFi data in plain language and get charts, breakdowns, and comparisons without touching a spreadsheet. I tested it. Asked it to chart trading fees across the top perpetual DEXs and it worked just fine. As you can see Hyperliquid is in a different weight class...
Worth trying while it's open. Next time you have a niche question like "what are the fastest growing lending protocols above $100M TVL" — just ask it

How Options Work ⚰️
An option is a contract that gives you the right to buy or sell an asset at a fixed price by a certain date. A call is a bet on upside. A put is a bet on downside. You pay a premium upfront for that right.
🔍 The 2 key terms are strike and expiration. The strike is the price written into the contract. Expiration is the date when the option stops existing. If the move happens after expiration, the option does not care.
“In the money” means the option already has intrinsic value. “Out of the money” means spot has not reached the strike price yet, so the option still depends on future movement.
⏱ Out of the money options are cheaper, but they need both direction and enough magnitude before time runs out.
This is why timing matters so much. Options lose value as expiration gets closer, especially if they are still out of the money. So you can be right on direction and still lose because the move was too small or too late.

That means you paid $1.5k upfront for the right to buy BTC at $80k before expiry:🔴 If BTC expires at $78k, you were right on direction, but the option still expires worthless because spot never got above the $80k strike. You lose the full $1.5k premium.🟢 If BTC expires at $85k, the option has $5k of intrinsic value because spot is $5k above strike. Your profit is not $5k though. Since you paid $1.5k for the option, your net profit is $3.5k.

One guy built a $1.8B company with Claude, Grok and ChatGPT 🤖
Matthew Gallagher grew up in a trailer park, dropped out of university, and spent 20 years figuring it out the hard way. He built a viral URL tool that got millions of hits and made $0 from it.
🖥 Then, in 2024, he spent 2 months and $20K building Medvi, a GLP-1 telehealth platform, from his house in LA. Claude, Grok and ChatGPT wrote the code. Midjourney generated the ad visuals. ElevenLabs handled customer calls. No co-founder, no outside funding, no office.
Year one: $401M in revenue on 250,000 customers, with a 16.2% net margin. Hims & Hers, his closest competitor, did $2.4B last year with 2,442 employees and a 5.5% net margin. Gallagher runs 3x the margin with a headcount of 2. He's on track for $1.8B this year. His first hire was his brother🤗
I've been saying for a while that AI is collapsing the cost of building companies to near zero. This is the clearest proof I've seen. One person, a clear idea, the right tools.
That combination never existed before. It does now. The best part is that you have access to the same AI tools as him🤗

How Attention Cycles Work in Crypto 🔄
In crypto, opportunities usually appear when attention is low, not when everyone is watching. Right now, Crypto Twitter activity is down 93% from the September peak, falling from more than 6% to below 0.4% of daily social dominance📉
Google Trends for “crypto” have also dropped back to levels seen near the 2023 market bottom.
Attention and opportunity feed into each other. When prices fall and easy money disappears, attention fades because fewer people see a reason to stay. But that same drop in attention reduces competition, and lower competition is exactly what allows new asymmetric opportunities to appear.
Here is how this cycle works👇
1️⃣ Apathy comes first. Attention is low, competition is low, and overlooked opportunities start to appear. This is usually where the best asymmetry forms.
2️⃣ Then early winners emerge. A few people receive huge airdrops, get 100x on good tokens and so on. Their results start pulling outside attention back in.
3️⃣ Next comes crowding. More users chase the same trades, pricing gets more efficient, and upside gets compressed. The trade can still work, but the easy part is gone.
4️⃣ After that, saturation hits. Too many people are positioned in the same ideas, quality drops, and late entrants get trapped. That is usually where disappointment begins.
5️⃣ Then the cycle resets. Interest fades, activity collapses, and most people leave. That dead phase is often where the next good opportunities start forming.

What Is the Yield Curve and Why It Matters 📊
Thought for a couple of seconds
The yield curve shows the difference between short-term and long-term government bond yields. In normal conditions, longer bonds usually yield more than shorter ones. That means the curve is upward sloping.
👆 This chart shows one simple version of it: the 10-year Treasury yield minus the 1-year Treasury yield. When the spread is above 0, long-term yields are higher than short-term yields. When the spread drops below 0, the curve is inverted.
An inversion matters because it usually means the bond market expects weaker growth ahead. Short-term yields stay high because current policy is tight, while longer-term yields fall as investors start pricing slower growth, lower inflation, and future rate cuts.
🔍 That is why traders watch it as a recession signal. As the chart shows, inverted yield curves have appeared before each of the last 7 recessions. It is not a timing tool, but it has been one of the most respected macro warning signs.
#FAQ
Thought for a couple of seconds
People buy or sell bonds based on what they expect from the economy and central banks.
If investors fear higher inflation, they usually sell bonds because fixed bond payments become less attractive in real terms. That pushes bond prices down and yields up.
If they expect stronger growth, they may also sell bonds because money moves into riskier assets and markets start pricing higher interest rates. That also pushes yields higher.

What Is Modern Monetary Theory: Part 1/2 🏦
Most people have no idea that their understanding of how the modern monetary system works is based on a lie
Modern Monetary Theory, or MMT, is a framework for understanding how a modern fiat currency system works. It starts from a simple point: a government that issues its own currency, borrows in that currency, and has a central bank behind it can always create more money to meet obligations denominated in that currency🤑
That means such a government does not operate like a household or company. A household has to earn money before it spends. A sovereign currency issuer can spend first, because it controls the unit in which spending happens.
In MMT, taxes mainly do 3 things:
🔴 They create demand for the currency.
🔴 They remove money from circulation.
🔴 They help control inflation.
Bond issuance also looks different here. Instead of being viewed as borrowing because the state “needs the money,” bonds are treated more like a tool for managing liquidity, interest rates, and private sector balance sheets.
🤔 The real constraint in this system is not whether the government can make the payment. The constraint is whether the economy has enough real capacity to absorb that spending. If the state keeps creating money while labor, energy, housing, goods, and production are already stretched, prices rise.
The question is not “can the government pay for it?” but “can the economy absorb it without hyperinflation?” Once you understand that, modern fiscal policy starts to look very different❗️

Trump posted that today as his 48-hour deadline for Iran runs out. The demand was simple: open the Strait of Hormuz or face a large-scale strike on Iranian infrastructure. The deadline expires tonight⏳
The post caps days of escalating rhetoric aimed directly at Iranian leadership. Trump says he doesn't want a civilization to die, but "it probably will."
🙅♂️ Markets are pricing it as a bluff. S&P 500 is down only 0.3% on the day. Oil up 0.84%. The consensus trade is that tomorrow brings either a deal outline or a deadline extension.

"A whole civilization will die tonight" 😨 Trump posted that today as his 48-hour deadline for Iran runs out. The demand was simple: open the Strait of Hormuz or face a large-scale strike on Iranian infrastructure. The deadline expires tonight ⏳ The post…
Trump suspended the Iran strike. Markets are up hard 🔼
Tonight Trump announced a 2-week ceasefire with Iran, contingent on the full and immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
🤝 He posted it directly on Truth Social, saying Pakistan's Prime Minister and military chief asked him to hold off, and that the US has already met its military objectives. Iran submitted a 10-point peace proposal, and Trump called it a workable basis for a long-term agreement.
S&P 500 futures jumped 2.58% on the news. Bitcoin moved too, now trading around $71,600, but is visibly underperforming equities.
🗓 Here's where it gets strange. Exactly one year ago, April 7, 2025, markets bottomed and reversed after Trump initial tariff war escalation.
Yesterday was again April 7 — 04/07 in the American date format. Trump is the 47th president and has made a habit of weaving that number into his posts and public statements across the past year.
💰 After hitting bottom last year, the S&P 500 rose by 44.5% over the following months. Let's hope the same thing happens again this time!

Americans lost $20.9B to internet crime in 2025 💰
The FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center crossed 1 million complaints in a single year for the first time in its 25-year history. Total losses hit $20.877B, up 26% from 2024. In 2001, that number was only $17.8M.
😵 Crypto fraud accounted for $11.4B of that, up 22% year over year. The biggest slice was pig butchering — fake investment platforms built on fake relationships — at $7.2B. Americans over 60 lost $4.43B through crypto alone.
Then there's the second hit. Americans lost another $1.4B paying fake lawyers and fake government agents to recover money already stolen from them.
😐 A few numbers that are hard to sit with. Gold courier scams averaged $430K per victim — people physically handing gold and cash to strangers at their door. The FBI called victims to warn them they were being scammed, and 78% had no idea it was happening.

What Is Modern Monetary Theory: Part 1/2 🏦 Most people have no idea that their understanding of how the modern monetary system works is based on a lie Modern Monetary Theory, or MMT, is a framework for understanding how a modern fiat currency system works.…
What MMT Means in Practice: Part 2/2 🏦
If a state issues its own currency, it is not sitting there waiting for tax revenue before it can function. It can keep funding deficits, bailouts, wars, subsidies, and public programs by creating more money and more debt inside its own system.
This is why fiscal deficit talk is pretty much fake. For a sovereign currency issuer, the danger is not “running out of money.” The danger is pushing money creation so far that the currency loses value too quickly and public confidence starts breaking down.
📈 For ordinary people, this matters because the cost often shows up indirectly. Governments do not need to openly take money from your account to make you poorer. They can expand the money supply, support spending, backstop losses, and let inflation reduce the purchasing power of your savings over time.
Slow currency debasement is a feature not a bug. It is needed under modern fiat regimes. If your money buys less every year, that is how the system absorbs pressure, shifts costs, and keeps functioning without open default.
🫵 The point is not that governments can print without consequences. They never can. But the consequences are transferred to normal people who hold currency. In this system, the state keeps operating, the programs keep running, but the bill gets paid by anyone holding cash and bonds.
We live in MMT system where fiat is doomed to lose value, while scarce assets will rise when priced in it. Gold, real estate, equities, cannot be printed out of thin air. So over long periods, charts in fiat are structurally programmed to go up and to the right📈

CZ is offering a $1B bet that he's officially divorced 💰
The founder of Binance went public today challenging Star — the founder & CEO of OKX exchange to take the wager — any amount, any terms — after being accused of lying about his marital status in his new biography.
🤔 The reason anyone cares: CZ's famous origin story — selling his apartment for $900K to buy Bitcoin at $400 — apparently has a version he doesn't tell. The down payment on that apartment came from his wife's elderly parents.
The OKX founder is also questioning whether CZ's stake in Binance was ever legally divided in the divorce, the way Bezos and Gates handled their asset splits.
Star didn't take the bet. Instead he pivoted to asking whether Binance's regulators would consider a $1B public wager "professional conduct."😂

Rate cuts are off the table for 2026 😇
CPI jumped from 2.4% to 3.3% in a single month. Markets have now priced cut probability below 5% at every FOMC meeting this year — except December, where it sits at 30%📊
War in Iran has effectively killed the rate cut narrative for the entire year. The Fed has nothing to work with here.
😢 For risk assets, this matters. Liquidity-driven rallies in equities and crypto have largely been priced around the assumption that cuts were coming.
That assumption is gone. If you were positioned for a loose Fed, this is a good moment to reassess.

Cloudflare down 27% in 3 days 😱
$NET dropped 13% today after Anthropic launched Claude Mythos, an AI model that finds and exploits software vulnerabilities. Cloudflare is core infrastructure company of global internet — and it just lost more than a quarter of its value in 3 days🔽
