Warren Buffett spent a lifetime studying businesses, markets, and risk. Even for him, beating the market consistently was very difficult, and he has said so himself 😐
Over that same period, Nancy Pelosi (recent speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives), a career politician with no background in professional investing, saw her household trading actively through her husband and outperforming Buffett by a wide margin.
If you or I traded like this we would be in jail, but Nancy Pelosi is not like us and saw her net worth rise from under $1 million when she entered Congress to an estimated $275–280 million today🙄

You still working a normal job? Or trying to make money trading? Because these Somali-run subsidy scams are on a whole other level 😐
Right now social media is blowing up over a massive welfare subsidy scam tied to childcare centers across the U.S. Investigators and journalists are walking into “daycares” during business hours and finding locked doors, no kids, no staff, nothing.
Yet public records show millions of taxpayer dollars paid out anyway through childcare assistance and related welfare programs💰
Taxpayers got robbed in plain sight. The same organizations kept billing for kids who weren’t there, services that never happened, and nobody in charge stopped it. Tens of billions of public dollars vanished, while oversight agencies looked the other way.
😮 We might be watching the birth of DOGE 2.0, fully decentralized, chaotic journalism exposing fraud nationwide. This is probably just scratching the surface of how many fake businesses are on the government payroll.

Long degeneracy 😦
Look around at what people are doing with their money right now. Crypto, prediction markets, sports betting (same things, lol), courses, side hustles, casino, scams. It’s easy to call it reckless. I don’t think it is that simple.
😨 People are responding to a system that stopped making sense for them. You can survive now, have food, have a place to live. You just can’t get anywhere.
For many young people, the old deal is gone. "Work hard, stay loyal, buy a home, build stability". This path is not just harder than before. It's closed. Asset prices ran away decades ago and rewarded whoever already owned them. Wages never caught up, and everyone feels it.
😨 Now add AI/robotics shrinking career timelines and social media constantly showing you a life one rung above yours. Even people who “did everything right” feel behind and running out of time.
Not because they think the odds are great. Most of them know they aren’t. But because grinding patiently toward something that might not exist anymore feels worse than trying to yolo your way into wealth. At least in crypto or betting or building some sketchy online thing, it feels like your choices matter. Win or lose, it’s on you.
🎰 A lot of people lose money. They know that too. But they keep playing because the alternative feels like standing still and watching time pass. The platforms make money either way. Fees, bets against their customers, etc. As long as people keep showing up, the machine works.
This is what happens when a generation is told to wait for rewards that never arrive. When effort stops mapping to outcomes their patience simply turns into resentment of older generations. People stop optimizing for stability and start taking chances.
How do you long degeneracy if you think things will get worse? Here are 3 publicly traded companies:
🟠 $COIN → crypto speculation
🟠 $DKNG → legalized gambling
🟠 $HOOD → retail stock/options trading

As 2025 comes to an end, this is a good moment to remember one thing: outsourcing your thinking is expensive 🤬
Here’s a look at the most confident Bitcoin price predictions we had for 2025, sorted from least wrong to completely detached from reality👇
🔴 JPMorgan: $170k
🔴 VanEck: $180k
🔴 Galaxy Digital: $185k
🔴 Standard Chartered: $250k
🔴 Tom Lee: $250k
🔴 Robert Kiyosaki: $500k
🔴 Chamath Palihapitiya: $500k
🔴 Anthony Pompliano: $500k
Meanwhile, Bitcoin topped at $126k and is now trading around $87k with days left in the year.
Authority figures and even big institutions constantly fail at making predictions. Big names sell confidence, not accuracy. They don't pay the price for being wrong. You do when you rely on their opinions❗️

2025 was brutal for almost every crypto narrative 🔽
Privacy coins are the clear outlier. Zcash and Monero ripped in Q4, putting the privacy sector on track to finish the year massively outperforming everything else.
Exchange tokens also managed to end the year in green. Everything else got crushed.
📉 Most altcoin sectors are down 60–90% on the year. Even Bitcoin is slightly negative YTD at around -4.7%. If it felt like “nothing worked” unless you were in very specific trades, that wasn’t your imagination.

Why Metals Are in a Bull Run While Crypto Struggles 😣
Gold, silver, copper, platinum, all have been strong while crypto has lagged, and the reason is mostly about who is buying and what each market represents. Metals benefit from steady, price-insensitive demand. Central banks have been consistent buyers, using gold as a reserve asset and hedge. That creates a persistent bid that does not depend on sentiment.
😨 Metals also reflect caution. Gold in particular acts as an indicator of risk aversion. When investors worry about inflation, geopolitics, debt, or policy mistakes, capital moves into metals. This kind of demand tends to be slow, structural, and sticky.
🚀 Crypto is the opposite. It often acts as an indicator of risk appetite. When investors are confident, liquidity is abundant, and speculation is rewarded, crypto performs well. When risk appetite fades, leverage unwinds, flows dry up, and prices struggle even against equities.
🤔 The key difference is the marginal buyer. Metals are driven by central banks and long-term allocators hedging risk. Crypto is driven by retail traders and speculative capital expressing risk-on behavior.

Happy New Year 🎆
2025 was a meaningful year for crypto. Bitcoin reached new all-time highs, we’ve got mass adoption of crypto by institutions, spot crypto ETFs expanded globally, and regulation became clearer. A lot of groundwork was laid, even if it didn’t always feel exciting in real time.
❤️ Thank you for reading this channel and sticking around. Staying engaged, learning, and not walking away when things get confusing or exhausting already puts you ahead of most people.
Wishing you a steady mind, patience, and the confidence to keep going in 2026. Progress rarely announces itself loudly, but it rewards those who last🎆

What Is the Sharpe Ratio 🧮
The Sharpe ratio measures how much return you earn relative to the risk you take. It is not about how much money you made, but how efficiently you made it. In crypto this is critical, because high returns often come with extreme volatility that hides poor decision-making.
🤔 Two portfolios can both be up 50%, but if one had massive drawdowns and wild swings while the other moved smoothly, the second one is objectively better. The Sharpe ratio is designed to capture that difference.
The formula is: Sharpe Ratio = (Return − Risk-Free Rate) ÷ Volatility
💸 Return is your total performance over a chosen period. Volatility is the standard deviation of those returns. The risk-free rate represents what you could have earned without taking risk, usually short-term Treasuries, a conservative stable yield or zero for short-term trades.
If you want to calculate it using a Sharpe calculator, you only need three inputs👇
🟢 For portfolio return, use your actual % PnL over the period you’re measuring.
🟢 For risk-free rate, use a simple benchmark that matches the same time frame, such as annualized T-bill yield or stablecoin lending yield.
🟢 For standard deviation, use the volatility of your returns, which most portfolio trackers or trading dashboards already provide.
All three numbers must use the same time period. Mixing daily volatility with yearly returns will give you meaningless results❗️

Former Haikou mayor Zhang Qi got sentenced to death for corruption after investigators uncovered gold bars stacked floor to ceiling, billions in cash and luxury real estate in China and abroad.
💰 Authorities say he pulled in roughly $4.3 billion in bribes over a decade by trading government contracts and land deals. One of the biggest corruption busts China has ever seen.
Imagine hoarding so much gold that it needs shelving, insane...🤣

U.S. strikes hit Venezuela overnight 💣
Multiple explosions were reported in and around Caracas, with witnesses describing low-flying aircraft and explosions near major military sites. The Venezuelan government declared a nationwide state of emergency and accused the U.S. of direct military action.
🇺🇸 The Trump administration publicly frames its actions as an anti-drug and security campaign, targeting “narco-terrorists” and logistics tied to Maduro’s government. Officials also stress that Maduro is illegitimate and a regional threat.
Strategically, the goal looks like this: force Maduro out, cut Venezuela’s ties with rivals like China, Russia, Iran and Cuba, and regain leverage over oil and Caribbean shipping routes.
🇻🇪 For context: Venezuela is hell on earth, where people don't even have enough to eat. This is a country with the world's largest proven oil reserves, yet it is one of the poorest. Years of state control, corruption, sanctions, and mismanagement crushed oil production and exports. After 2014, the economy collapsed, inflation spiraled, and the socialist dictatorship's repression intensified. Millions fled.
When Maduro falls, Venezuelan oil could come back online fast, pressuring global prices and reshaping energy markets. But zoom out and this looks bigger than Venezuela. Most of its oil flows to China, and that flow would be cut. In that sense, this is part of a wider U.S.–China confrontation by proxy.
From Taiwan pressure, to Red Sea choke points, to now energy leverage in the Americas, the strategy is about constraining China’s inputs and routes. So far markets and crypto barely reacted, and that likely stays the case as long as this remains limited. The real repricing comes only if China decides to move🕯

Just yesterday, Maduro was sleeping in his palace, and now he sits in U.S. custody in New York. What happened felt like an action film: Operation Absolute Resolve removed a sitting dictator with zero U.S. losses, in-and-out in under an hour, creating a sudden shift in global power while the rest of the world could only watch.
🤔 We now have a power vacuum situation. Trump has already said U.S. will oversee Venezuela until a “safe and proper transition” takes place, so Venezuela is no longer sovereign for the foreseeable future.
Oil was the centerpiece of this entire move. Trump openly said U.S. oil companies will enter Venezuela, rebuild infrastructure, pump crude, and sell it globally. Don't forget that Venezuela holds the largest oil reserves on Earth (around $17 trillion worth of oil) so it's a big deal😮
Beyond oil, Venezuela holds ~$800B worth of natural gas, 4 billion tons of iron ore (~$400B), 161 metric tons of gold (~$22B), and other minerals. All of this will now be under the control of the United States.
😢 China lost a discounted oil supplier that can be paid in yuans, Russia lost leverage in heavy crude markets while their economy is completely dependent on oil exports, and the U.S. can now keep oil prices stable and low.
At the same time, as I said yesterday, the U.S. gained control over Caribbean energy routes. This is a clear shift in hemispheric power. Insanely big geopolitical and economic win for the U.S.
What's next on the hegemon's foreign policy agenda? The Panama Canal? Greenland? Mexico? The Gaza Strip? Ukraine?🤔

Footage coming out of Iran right now is brutal. Protesters in the streets, Revolutionary Guard bases on fire, security forces trying to regain control. At least 20 people killed, more than 1,000 arrested, unrest spreading across dozens of cities. Polymarket traders now give a 43% chance that Iran’s Supreme Leader loses power this year 🔥
We’re living through a period of fast breaks and unstable regimes. Things that used to take decades are happening in months. Precious metals ripping to record highs over the last few months was a warning signal, as I said multiple times. People are positioning for disorder.
🇺🇸 At the same time, the U.S. posture has shifted openly. Trump just said the Monroe Doctrine is back. In plain terms, that means the U.S. is drawing a hard line and saying China, Russia, and Iran don’t get to project power in the Western half of the planet anymore.
In the last 12h Trump said that Greenland is “covered” in Chinese and Russian ships, Colombia is a narco-state that “won’t be doing it very long”, Mexico isn’t run by its president, it’s run by cartels, Cuba is “ready to fall.” And yeah, these aren’t offhand remarks, he is naming targets, setting expectations. Ultimately, it's all about influence, resources, and who gets pushed out and where. The old politics of hard power are back.
🤔 During this time, I would avoid purely speculative assets. Would you like a post with information on which companies to invest in to make money during this chaotic period?

10 Stocks That Could Benefit From the Venezuela Reset 🔍
Markets don’t stop just because the world feels unstable. Wars, regime changes, and shocks still move money, and certain businesses tend to benefit no matter how ugly the backdrop gets.
Have to remind you that this is not financial advice. For most people, boring index funds still beat stock-picking over time. Cherry-picking only makes sense if you know the risks and accept them. That said, here’s a clean list of companies with direct or indirect exposure to what’s unfolding in Venezuela👇
💸 $CVX – Chevron: Already operating in Venezuela, positioned to rapidly scale heavy-crude production as sanctions unwind.
💸 $XOM – ExxonMobil: Gains security for its Guyana assets and a potential return to the world’s largest oil reserves.
💸 $COP – ConocoPhillips: Arbitration claims can convert into real oil fields and long-term production rights.
💸 $HAL – Halliburton: Drilling, repairs, and restart work make it a core beneficiary of oil infrastructure revival.
💸 $SLB – Schlumberger: High-end technology provider needed to bring collapsed fields back online at scale.
💸 $VLO – Valero Energy: Heavy Venezuelan crude feeds directly into Gulf Coast refineries optimized for it.
💸 $MPC – Marathon Petroleum: Largest U.S. refiner gains from increased heavy-crude supply and logistics throughput.
💸 $DE – Deere & Company: Heavy equipment for farming and infrastructure, well positioned to benefit from Venezuela’s agricultural and construction restart.
💸 $GOLD – Barrick Gold: Access to one of the largest undeveloped gold regions in the world becomes possible again.
💸 $ADM – Archer Daniels Midland: Food imports, logistics, and agricultural recovery open a large dormant market.
📌 Save for later

Venezuela’s main stock market index is up +73% since President Maduro was captured 🔼
At first glance, this chart, even on high time frames, looks like the dream scenario. Straight up. Only green. But it’s what markets look like when they’re priced in a collapsing local currency.
Venezuela has lived through extreme hyperinflation for decades. From 1980 to 2024, the average inflation rate was 2,084% per year, with total price increases reaching over 42 trillion %. In that environment, stocks don’t rise because companies are thriving. They rise because the denominator is worse than a shitcoin💀
This chart is a good illustration of hyperinflation in practice. Nominal prices explode upward while real purchasing power collapses. Assets go up, but savings evaporate, prices of goods can change daily or even hourly💵

Dividend Stocks vs Growth Stocks 📈
🗣 Dividend stocks are equities that return part of their profits to shareholders as regular cash payments. These payments usually come quarterly and are funded from operating cash flow. Pricing of these stocks tends to be more stable because a portion of total return comes from distributions rather than price appreciation.
🗣 Growth stocks reinvest most or all profits back into the business instead of paying dividends. The expectation is higher future earnings, which can support a higher valuation over time. Returns depend almost entirely on price appreciation.
🗣 Dividend-growth stocks sit between the two. These companies pay dividends while still growing earnings at a moderate rate.
The tradeoff is allocation of capital. Dividend stocks prioritize current shareholder payouts, which limits reinvestment and caps growth potential. Growth stocks prioritize reinvestment, which increases uncertainty but can compound faster if execution holds.
❗️ Dividend payments are not guaranteed. They can be reduced or suspended if cash flow weakens or capital needs change.
❗️ Growth assumptions can also fail if revenue slows or margins compress, leading to sharp repricing.
🟢 Want cash flow now? → Dividend stocks like Coca-Cola $KO
🟢 Want long-term appreciation? → Growth stocks like Amazon $AMZN
🟢 Want both? → Dividend-growth stocks like Microsoft $MSFT

India’s stock market just recorded its biggest drop in more than four months as trade risks moved back into focus. The pressure is coming from Washington 📉
😤 Trump has approved a bill that would impose 500% tariffs on countries buying Russian oil. China, India, and Brazil are explicitly named.
India is heavily exposed. Since 2022, it has imported about $168 billion worth of Russian crude, becoming Moscow’s second-largest buyer after China💸
Recently, the US has been putting a lot of pressure on Russia, not just in words but in deeds. If this continues, Trump may soon succeed in achieving peace in Ukraine🤨

Whales are buying coins from weak hands 🐳
Large Bitcoin holders are absorbing supply while retail flow is weakening or turning negative. That divergence usually appears when stronger hands are buying liquidity from impatient sellers, either late in a cycle or during a mid-cycle reset.
We saw a similar setup in March 2025. Price chopped during the Israel-Iran conflict, sentiment cooled, and whales quietly accumulated while retail stepped back.
📊 Polymarket currently prices a ~30% chance of Bitcoin hitting $100k in January. Short-term bias looks bullish I would say, but geopolitical tensions could suddenly change the market's behavior. It's easy to imagine a single headline like 'US bombs Iran' moving BTC down 5% in a day, so be careful and don't play with leverage.

France has about one crypto kidnapping a week 🇫🇷
Masked gunmen are breaking into homes and holding people hostage for crypto wallets. Turns out it’s not just criminals doing the hunting. A French tax official was caught selling taxpayers’ personal data to organized crime, helping gangs identify crypto holders.
💵 For a few hundred euros per lookup, government databases were used to feed addresses to kidnappers. Fourteen attacks in recent weeks alone.
The government, wanting to know everything about its obedient taxpayers, teams up with criminals who want to beat you up and take your money. Great!🤡

You can usually tell when elections are coming by watching what politicians suddenly care about.
📉 Gas prices are the easiest signal. Everyone drives, everyone sees the price at the pump, and lower gas makes life feel cheaper fast. U.S. gas prices are now at their lowest level in five years, moving down with crude oil.
The next U.S. midterm election is on November 3, 2026. Control of Congress is on the line and Trump tries to boost Republican ratings.
Here’s what’s on the agenda👇
🟢 Pushing gas prices toward $2 per gallon
🟢 Calling for a 10% cap on credit card interest rates
🟢 Banning institutions from buying single-family homes
🟢 Buying $200 billion in mortgage bonds to push rates down
🟢 Pressuring the Fed to cut rates to 1% in 2026
🟢 $2,000 tariff “stimulus checks”

What Is Triangular Arbitrage and How to Use It? 🔍
Triangular arbitrage exploits inconsistent exchange rates across 3 trading pairs that share the same assets. The cycle converts asset A to B, B to C, and C back to A (example: USDT → BTC → ETH → USDT). Profit exists only if the final amount of A exceeds the starting balance after fees.
🕯 The pricing inconsistency usually appears because each pair updates independently based on its own order book. For example, BTC/USDT, ETH/BTC, and ETH/USDT can momentarily imply different ETH valuations. The arbitrage condition is mechanical and can be computed directly from quoted bid and ask prices.
Execution requires all 3 legs to clear at tradable prices. The relevant prices are the best available bids and asks at the moment each order hits the book, not mid prices. If any leg partially fills or slips, the cycle can flip from positive to negative immediately.
🤔 Fees dominate outcomes. A 0.04% taker fee applied 3 times consumes about 0.12% of notional, which sets a hard minimum threshold for viability.
Also, if you want to try it, remember about latency. By the time the second or third order is sent, the book often rebalances and removes the discrepancy. This is why manual execution rarely works.
↗️ 🙅♂️ Triangular arbitrage does not scale linearly with capital. As size increases, fill quality deteriorates and price impact grows faster than the quoted edge. In practice, it behaves more like a short-lived microstructure inefficiency than a reusable strategy.
