$80K is the line into tonight's weekly close.

BTC is at ~$80,550. Saturday's dip hit $79,221, a 20-day low, and it bounced straight back above 80K. Today it's stuck between $80,088 and $81,034.

Break $81,034 and the next stops are $81,847 (50-day average) and $82,116 (week open). Lose $80,088 and Saturday's $79,221 is back in play.

Positioning leans long. Long accounts outnumber shorts about 2 to 1 on Binance, while open interest slipped ~1% in 24h. If 80K goes, those longs are the fuel.

Close is at 5:30 AM IST. Anything under $82,116 and it's a red week.

Forecast is a hold at 4%. The press conference at midnight decides the move: a hint of the next cut helps risk, no hint and BTC feels it.

Thursday 6 PM: US GDP and Core PCE land together. Core PCE is the Fed's favourite inflation gauge, forecast 0.3% after 0.2%. A hot print kills cut hopes.

Friday 1:30 PM: monthly BTC options expiry. Price often chops around it.

Sunday 5:30 AM: October's monthly close. BTC opened October at $83,624 and sits near $80,500. No reclaim, red October.

Microsoft and Alphabet report Wednesday night, Amazon Thursday night. ECB on Thursday, Bank of Japan on Friday.
