CryptoQuant says there is no direct causal relationship between USDT flows and the BTC price, but historically, supply declines have coincided with weak demand and corrections. Moreover, it is precisely at the peak of such declines that selling pressure usually begins to subside.

Microsoft researchers are detecting a new wave of attacks through hacked WordPress sites, where the blockchain has been turned into an "untouchable" malware command and control server.
- A hidden script, disguised as part of a theme or a legitimate plugin, is placed on the hacked site.
- The script sends a request to a smart contract on the BNB Smart Chain (in some campaigns, Polygon) and receives a valid address in response.
- The victim is shown a fake captcha asking them to press Win+R โ Ctrl+V โ Enter โ the command is secretly copied to the clipboard before the window appears.
- PowerShell/MSHTA/rundll32 commands are then launched, which download the main payloadโinfostealers or RATs for complete control of the system.
The main danger is that attackers change the attack infrastructure simply by updating the data in the contract, without reinfecting the sites. Protection against such a scheme using known domains and IP addresses is practically powerless.
