😁One of the major parties affected in the Ledger incident turned out to be a scammer who had collected over 60 BTC from victims, — Chainalysis

The individual lured people in with the promise of earnings from artificially boosting sales figures and generating fake reviews. To receive a "payout," victims were then required to deposit their own funds—ostensibly to clear a "negative balance."

On September 22, the scammer distributed the Bitcoin across three Ledger addresses. By October 9, all three addresses had been emptied, with the funds sent to an address linked to illicit activity.

😱 A hacker drained 1,404 crypto wallets on the Qubic network, stealing approximately $1,300,000.

The incident was caused by a flaw in the generation of seed phrases on Apple devices, which made them predictable and allowed unauthorized access to users' funds.

Researchers at Hudson Rock analyzed a dataset containing 38,628 order records and 10,139 unique IP addresses. Some of the data included deposit transactions, XMR (Monero) receiving addresses, and client IP addresses—a combination that could theoretically be used to link a public deposit to a specific Monero wallet.
