Mural paintings :-

• Indian Mural Paintings are paintings made on walls of caves and palaces. The earliest evidence of murals is the beautiful frescoes painted on the caves of Ajanta and Ellora, also on the Bagh caves and Sittanvasal. In the old scripts and literature, there were many evidences of mural paintings.

• The history of Indian murals starts in ancient and early medieval times, from the 2nd century BC to 8th – 10th century AD. There are known more than 20 locations around India containing murals from this period, mainly natural caves and rock-cut chambers. The highest achievements of this time are the caves of Ajanta, Bagh, Sittanavasal, Armamalai Cave (Tamil Nadu), RavanChhaya rock shelter, Kailasanatha temple in Ellora Caves.

42nd Amendment Act of 1976 added four new Directive Principles to the original list. Those DPSPs are:

1⃣ Article 39 - To secure opportunities for healthy development of children.

2⃣ Article 39A - To promote equal justice and to provide free legal aid to the poor.

3⃣ Article 43A - To take steps to secure the participation of workers in the management of industries @cseupscnotes
4⃣ Article 48A - To protect and improve the environment and to safeguard forests and wild life.

1976 के 42वें संशोधन अधिनियम ने मूल सूची में चार नए निदेशक सिद्धांत जोड़े। वे डीपीएसपी हैं:

1⃣ अनुच्छेद 39 - बच्चों के स्वस्थ विकास के लिए अवसर सुरक्षित करना।

विश्व मौसम विज्ञान संगठन (डब्ल्यूएमओ)

- 193 सदस्य राज्यों और क्षेत्रों की सदस्यता वाला एक अंतरसरकारी संगठन।

- इसकी उत्पत्ति अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मौसम विज्ञान संगठन (IMO) से हुई, जिसकी जड़ें 1873 वियना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मौसम विज्ञान कांग्रेस में बोई गईं।

- 23 मार्च 1950 को WMO कन्वेंशन के अनुसमर्थन द्वारा स्थापित, WMO एक साल बाद मौसम विज्ञान (मौसम और जलवायु), परिचालन जल विज्ञान और संबंधित भूभौतिकी विज्ञान के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र की विशेष एजेंसी बन गई।

World Meteorological Organization (WMO)

– An intergovernmental organization with a membership of 193 member states and territories.

- It originated from the International Meteorological Organization (IMO), whose roots were sown in the 1873 Vienna International Meteorological Congress.

- Established by the ratification of the WMO Convention on 23 March 1950, WMO became the specialized agency of the United Nations for meteorology (weather and climate), operational hydrology and related geophysical sciences a year later.

- The Secretariat, headquartered in Geneva, is headed by the Secretary-General. Its supreme body is the World Meteorological Congress.‌‌
