🚨 Air India Flight AI-171 Crashes After Takeoff from Ahmedabad 🚨
A tragic accident occurred today, June 11, 2025, as Air India Flight AI-171 (Boeing 787-8) crashed just moments after taking off from Ahmedabad airport at 1:38 PM.
The flight was bound for London Gatwick and had 242 people onboard – 230 passengers and 12 crew members.
It crashed near Meghani Nagar, shortly after giving a MAYDAY call to ATC.

🇬🇧 53 British nationals
🇨🇦 1 Canadian
🇵🇹 7 Portuguese
⚠️ Several casualties are feared. Heavy black smoke was seen at the crash site.
