👉The 75th PM Divyasha Kendra opened at Govt Medical College, Badaun (UP) to offer free assistive devices and support to Divyangjan and seniors under ADIP & RVY schemes, enhancing accessibility in rural areas.
👉NCDEX and IMD launch India’s first weather derivatives with rainfall-based futures to help farmers and climate-sensitive sectors manage risks and enhance rural financial security.
👉India’s first bullet train on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route will use Japan’s E10 Shinkansen (Alfa-X), making India the first to run it commercially outside Japan, with E5 trial runs starting in early 2026.
👉Gujarat tops India in processed potato production for 2024–25, with Banaskantha leading through modern farming and cold storage to supply premium varieties for QSRs, exports, and frozen food firms.
