August 2023 UPDATE
Dear members,
We are thrilled to inform you of a momentous achievement for our community. The Board of Trustees of the California Zoroastrian Center has successfully paid off the entire balance of loans for our beloved Rustam Guiv Center in Pacific Beach, San Diego.
This accomplishment is a testament to the support and generosity of our wonderful community. You have shown remarkable dedication and commitment to this noble cause, and we appreciate every contribution you have made.
From the initial phase of fundraising, when you helped us gather the necessary down payment, to the subsequent phase, when you helped us raise 71 percent of the total amount required to pay off the loans, you have been with us every step of the way. Moreover, you have helped us collect $300,000 for the repair and improvement of the Rustam Guiv Center. Your support has been truly amazing.
As we move forward, debt-free, we remain committed to providing a welcoming and nurturing space for all community members. The Rustam Guiv Center will continue to serve as a place of unity, learning, celebration, and growth for generations to come.
We also urge you to continue your contributions and donations, as we plan to establish a fund for similar activities and improvements in different localities to serve the entire community. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create even more opportunities for growth and unity.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for being an essential part of this journey. Your love, support, and unity have exemplified the true spirit of our community, and we are honored to have such compassionate individuals among us.
Thank you once again for your support, and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones together as a community.

An Exciting News
September 2023
Dear Members, CZC Board Of Trustees thanks its members and community for its continued support and valuable feedback. BOT has been working diligently on a plan to improve the interior of the CZC Orange County building for the past two years. The initial plan considered expanding the building, however, due to feedback from members in the recent general meeting, we decided to scale back the project, focusing on renovating and remodeling the existing space. The following outlines important information regarding the CZC renovation phase 1 interior project:
• Expected cost, approximately $500,000
• Funding of the project will come partially from CZC’s own funds, and partially from donations
• Contract selected through a competitive bid process
• Project to begin the Mid September 2023
• The project will take approximately four months to complete
• CZC will be closed for the duration of the project
• Separate arrangements are being made for the office & Sunday Amoozesh classes
• The main features of the renovation project include:
◦ Flooring, windows, doors, lighting & audio/visual, walls, ceilings, Niayeshgah, kitchen, library, and painting throughout the building's interior and exterior
In addition, we are pleased to announce that we have formed a new committee of experts to explore the possibility of acquiring additional property for the benefit of the community, encompassing a more dynamic space that will further promote and enhance cultural and sports activities in the Orange County area. This committee will conduct a thorough analysis of the potential sites, costs, benefits, and challenges of such a project, and will report back to us with their recommendations. We believe that the new community center will increase engagement and accessibility for the majority of our members, especially the youth while fostering the growth and vitality of our community. The BOT is working in collaboration with the CZC OC BOD to ensure a smooth transition of center programs during this time. In the upcoming weeks, the CZC OC BOD will be providing additional updates about program plans and other information regarding the project. In the meantime, we request all of our community members to consider making a donation to support these renovation efforts. To make a donation, visit www.czc.org/donate. Thank you for your Hamazoori and Contribution! Board of Trustees, California Zoroastrian Center
