مرکز زرتشتیان کالیفرنیا با احترام یاد ارباب رستم گیو (۱۲۶۷–۱۳۵۹ خورشیدی) را گرامی می‌دارد؛ نیک‌مردی که خدمت را معنا بخشید. او در ۱۵ مهر ۱۳۵۹ (۷ اکتبر ۱۹۸۰) در کالیفرنیا چشم از جهان فروبست و نام و کردار نیکش همچنان در دل‌ها زنده است.
ارباب رستم گیو از چهره‌های برجستهٔ نیکوکاری و خدمت‌گزاریِ جامعهٔ زرتشتی بود و با ایمان و دوراندیشی، در انجمن زرتشتیان تهران، مجلس شورای ملی و مجلس سنا کوشید. بانو مروارید گیو، همسر فداکارش، در همهٔ کارهای نیک همراه و پشتیبان او بود.
از یادگارهای ماندگار او در ایران میتوان به مدارس، درمانگاه‌ها، آب‌انبارها و مجموعهٔ رستم‌باغ و نیز مراکز فرهنگی در تهران، یزد و کرمان اشاره کرد. نیکوکاری‌شان از مرزها گذشت و در امریکای شمالی، اروپا و استرالیا درمهرها و مراکز زرتشتی بنیان نهاده شد تا زرتشتیان دور از میهن جایگاهی برای نیایش، آموزش و همبستگی داشته باشند.
در کالیفرنیا، با گشاده‌دستی او زمین و سرمایهٔ ساخت درمهر رستم گیو فراهم شد؛ بنایی ماندگار برای نیایش، هم‌اندیشی و پیوند نسل‌ها. همچنین برای تداوم این راه، تراست ارباب رستم گیو بنیاد یافت تا پشتیبانی از طرح‌های فرهنگی، آموزشی و اجتماعی را منظم و پایدار دنبال کند.
مرکز زرتشتیان کالیفرنیا باور دارد که بهترین بزرگداشتِ آن دو روانشاد، ادامهٔ راهشان در راستی، نیکی و خدمت است.

With respect, the California Zoroastrian Center honors the enduring memory of Arbab Rostam Giv (1267–1359 A.H. solar)—a benefactor who gave service its true meaning. He passed away on 15 Mehr 1359 (October 7, 1980) in California, yet the light of his good name and deeds still shines in our hearts.
Arbab Rostam Giv was a leading figure of philanthropy and service within the Zoroastrian community. With faith, humility, and foresight—and through roles such as membership in the Tehran Zoroastrian Anjoman, and as a representative in the National Consultative Assembly and the Senate—he consistently worked for education, welfare, and community development. Banoo Morvarid Giv, his devoted spouse, stood beside him steadfastly in all charitable works.
Among his lasting legacies in Iran are the construction and endowment of schools, clinics, traditional water cisterns (āb-anbārs), and the “Rostam Bāgh” complex, as well as cultural centers in Tehran, Yazd, and Kerman. His philanthropy reached beyond Iran, helping establish darb-e mehr and Zoroastrian centers across North America, Europe, and Australia, so that Zoroastrians far from their homeland would have places for worship, learning, and fellowship.
In California, when a group of community members aspired to build a center to preserve Zoroastrian faith and culture, he generously provided the land and funding. The result is the enduring Rostam Giv Darb-e Mehr—a place for worship, dialogue, and intergenerational connection. To sustain this mission, the Rostam Giv Trust was also established during his lifetime, ensuring organized and ongoing support for cultural, educational, and social projects.
The California Zoroastrian Center believes the best way to honor these two dearly departed benefactors is to carry on their path of truth, goodness, and service.
May their souls be at peace, their memory cherished, and their good name everlasting.

خجسته آیین جشن مهرگان در پسین روز شنبه چهارم اکتبر برابر با دوازدهم مهر ماه ۱۴۰۴ در مرکز زرنشتیان کالیفرنیای جنوبی شاخه اورنج کانتی با باشندگی همکیشان برگزار شد.
سرود ای ایران با تک نوازی پیانو أغازگر برنامه ها بود ، و سپس نوای خوش گاتهای موبد اشکان باستانی به همراهی آرینا خوشسر طنین انداز جشن با شکوه مهرگان بود. سخنرانی رستم شیرمردیان از هموندان هیات امنا و جمشید جمشیدی یکی از هموندان گروه مدیره مرکز زرتشتیان کالیفرنیا از دیگر برنامه ها بود.
همچنین از دیگر برنامه های مهرگان میتوان به سخنرانی موبدیار نوشین جهانگیری، گروه نوازی دف مرکز زرنشتیان ، نمایش، اجرای رقص و دف ، اجرای رقص گروه لس انجلس واحرای موسیقی
اشاره کرد.
پایان بخش برنامه های خجسته آیین باشکوه مهرگان همراه با رقص وپایکوپی باشندگان و همراهی دیجی بود.
