It's official. Mac Apps are NOW just SHIT! Even Techtool implemented shitty subscription. MacOS is becoming only SHIT! No decent features + downgrades + Mac App downgrades + subscriptions + huge limits (example max 1 device license, instead of unlimited) + etc.

Google Cache is dead, Perma.cc works like shit full with downgrade, Wayback Machine is now just SHIT that doesn't allow to backup things anymore, just 3 things each day, Google Drive / Cloud is now shit too, most cloud services are nothing better. This is technology progress! or better DOWNGRADE!

Forward auth server to other machine on network
Content:
Hi all,
I have written a python web server that will handle some file syncing. I would like to use rclone to connect to my onedrive account. The issue is, that a linux server will host the app and at some point during configuration of rclone open the rclone auth server on port 53682 with the typical authurl like "127.0.0.1: 53682/auth?state=xyz". I can access this url fine on the server, but obviously I would like to access this url from another local machine on my network. My program currently captures this auth url and displays it to the user, but he cannot access this url.

I tried
sudo ufw allow 53682/tcp
sudo sysctl -w net.ipv4.ip_forward=1
sudo iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 53682 -j DNAT --to-destination 0.0.0.0:53682
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 53682 -j ACCEPT
but without any access. Are there any user friendly ways to access this auth url from another machine?

I know that there is the option of running rclone authorize on another machine, but this doesnt work if a normal user is setting up a rclone config using my web ui. I would be happy for any ideas / input.
Thanks!

Completed .partial files
Content:
I've started using rclone for uploading and downloading large files in my organization's Google Drive. I work with a lot of video, and this software is so much better for my use case than G Drive for Desktop or using the browser.
I notice when downloading MP4 files over 1 GB, the transfer will get stuck at 100% without "finishing" and the video files will still have .partial in File Explorer. What I've done is cancelled the transfer, and remove .partial from the file name. So far this has worked and the mp4 files have played fine. But it would be nicer to not have to do this, especially as I want to get another colleague set up with rclone on his computer. Is there a fix?

Sync to Proton never finishes
Content: Hi. I have a folder which i currently want to sync to Proton Drive.
It has about 30K files, with a total of 45GB.When i first ran rclone, it seems to have synced fine.
But, now, any time after that, when i run rclone again, to sync just a few files (sometimes just 1 or 2 new files) it never finishes.
I have been told to run the rclone sync command with "-P -v", and the output is just this:
`Transferred: 0 B / 0 B, -, 0 B/s, ETA -Checks: 21646 / 21646, 100%Elapsed time: 1d1m33.4s^C
`The elapsed time just keeps going up... the "checks" seem to grow, VERY slowly... but as you can see, after more than 24h, it had only "checked" 21646 files... whats going on?We are DataHoardingFreaks. A @roadtopetabyte project
rclone + backblaze b2: how to decrease cryptcheck class b and class c transactions?
Content:
If I use cryptcheck to verify files after copying from my hard drive to b2, it can quickly go over my daily free Class B and/or Class C transactions. I have read that --fast-list can help with this but I tried it and I'm not sure if I'm just using it wrong in the command but it doesn't seem to help.
Are there other ways for me to minimize Class B and Class C transactions? It seems to only shoot up when I do cryptcheck and I think moving files (I'm still learning rclone, so I just do basic stuff).

For them is just a 365! for us means SCIENCE AND FACTS NOT AVAILABLE anymore at all! The biggest downgrade ever implemented - And if the original source is gone, our successors don't know the link, such 365 is useless too!
