Position: Anti–Money Laundering (AML) Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Anti–Money Laundering Officer to join our Financial Crimes & Investigations team.
The successful candidate will lead and support financial crime investigations, perform in-depth fraud and AML analysis, and provide intelligence-based recommendations to mitigate risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit financial activities.
This role also involves developing strategies, preparing detailed intelligence reports, and engaging clients to address their security and compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Conduct research and investigations into money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes.
🔹 Identify perpetrators, accomplices, and networks through detailed intelligence profiling and analysis.
🔹 Collect, validate, and assess financial intelligence ensuring accuracy and reliability.
🔹 Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations on individuals and entities.
🔹 Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, briefings, and advisories on financial crime trends and emerging threats.
🔹 Provide expert recommendations on fraud prevention, AML compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
🔹 Engage clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to address intelligence and compliance needs.
🔹 Support the delivery of training programs on financial crime investigations and compliance.
🔹 Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations, ethical standards, and internal investigation protocols.
Job Requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
✅ Strong analytical and investigative skills in financial crime, fraud, or AML compliance.
✅ Proficiency in OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) and financial data analysis.
✅ Solid understanding of AML/CFT regulations and compliance frameworks.
✅ Excellent report writing and research skills.
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for client and stakeholder engagement.
✅ Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deliver results under pressure.
✅ High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
