Growth, demographics, and industrial expansion make these regions magnets for long-term capital.

🔘 Persian Gulf & MENA

The Gulf has become a center of long-term capital.

Sovereign wealth funds such as Public Investment Fund (PIF), Mubadala, Qatar Investment Authority, and ADQ have consistently ranked among the most active global investors.

By 2025, Gulf funds accounted for about 43% of global SWF deal activity, while total sovereign wealth assets worldwide reached roughly $15T.

This region now channels capital into technology, infrastructure, real estate, and energy on a global scale.

🔘 Africa: High Risk, High Conviction

FDI inflows rose by around 75% in 2024, reaching a new all-time high, mostly caused by energy and infrastructure projects.

This doesn’t mean Africa is safe now. It means capital is increasingly willing to accept country risk in exchange for access to resources and long-term growth.

🔘 Developed Markets: Stability + Private Credit

Still, the US and Europe remain anchors, supported by deep liquidity, strong institutions, and dollar dominance.

But global FDI fell by 11% in 2024, with developed markets among the hardest hit.

At the same time, private credit is exploding:

The “Buyback” Badge: What Does 100% Protection Mean?

Buyback is a legal obligation of a third party to purchase your debt if the borrower stops paying.

In practice, it means your investment is under 100% protection. This protection is provided by our partner, a financial organization specializing in credit risk management.

We have a master agreement: If the borrower doesn’t pay, the partner pays instead.

✨ The 60-Day Rule

The protection activates automatically if the borrower delays payments for more than 60 days. Here's how it works:

1. Delinquency — The borrower misses a scheduled payment.

2. Waiting Period — A 60-day countdown begins. During this time, our collectors and lawyers work to restore payments.

3. Buyback Activation — If no payment is made by day 61, the partner purchases the debt.

4. Refund — You receive 100% of your invested amount back.

All interest you received before the delay remains yours.

Tokenization ≠ Real Economy

Today the term RWA is used in two very different ways.

↗️ For us, RWAs are real-world assets used as collateral: equipment, vehicles, installations, hardware, infrastructure, property, and other physical assets.

↗️ In crypto, RWA is often used to describe the tokenization of those assets by moving them on-chain.

The idea itself is great. But many crypto startups abuse the RWA narrative to push their token. In reality, a lot of these “RWA projects” have a very weak connection to the real economy.

Let’s break down how they mislead investors:

🔘 Price becomes the main narrative

Some projects try to prove their success with the price of the token. The token goes up, therefore the project is working well.

But price alone means nothing.

Trading volume can be fake. Price movements can be driven by marketing. Sometimes it's simply supply and demand speculation.

If you don’t understand where the volume comes from, be careful.

🔘 “The token is backed by real assets” Are you sure?

If a project claims their token is backed by real assets but there is no legal proof, then there is no real backing.

Without signed agreements, collateral documents, or legal claims over assets, the “backing” is just a marketing statement.

🔘TVL replaces the real economy

Some projects use TVL as their main argument.

“Look how much money is locked in the protocol!”

But TVL only shows how much capital sits in the system. It does not show profitability, collateral quality, or whether there is any real cash flow behind the token.

🔘 “RWA” without a real business

If a project talks about off-chain assets, real-world pools, or similar narratives but has: no real borrowers, no signed contracts, no defined collateral structure, no clear risk management, then it’s not real RWA.

It’s just DeFi with a new label.

Our approach is simple.

If the blockchain disappears tomorrow, something must still remain in the real world: an asset, a contract, collateral, real cash flow that can fulfill obligations

If none of that exists, then it’s not real-world assets.

It’s tokenization of expectations.

You Can Buy & Sell Investment Positions on 8lends! 🤩

We've opened the secondary market.

If you invested in a real business but later decided to exit earlier, you no longer need to wait for the project to finish and return your principal and interest. You can now sell your investment position to another user.

The buyer receives the right to all future payouts from that position. In other words, you can exit an active investment, and someone else can enter a project that has already been financed.

To see the feature, open the website and click “Classifieds” — all available orders are listed there.

How it works:

🔘 A seller lists their entire investment position, sets the price in USDC, and the position is temporarily held by the platform.

🔘 A buyer selects the position and pays the listed price. The seller pays the platform commission (10% of the price), receives the remaining amount in USDC, and the investment position is transferred to the buyer’s wallet.

🔘 From that moment on, the buyer receives all future payouts from the position until the project ends, exactly as if they had invested from the start.

❗️ Important: only full positions at the Funded stage can be sold. Partial sales are not available. If the position hasn’t been purchased yet, the seller can cancel the order at any time.
