EVENT SELESAI. CONNECTION-NYA BARU MULAI.

🎥 Setelah 30 hari membuat konten tentang LINKID x Plaud, akhirnya saya sampai di Day 30.

Dan untuk post terakhir ini, saya tidak mau terlalu banyak bicara.

Saya mau kasih panggung kepada orang-orang yang benar-benar hadir di ConnectFest.

Karena setelah event selesai, yang paling menarik justru bukan dekorasi, rundown, atau foto panggung.

Tapi obrolannya.

“Pak, ternyata banyak juga yang bisa dikolaborasikan.”

“Insight-nya ternyata bisa langsung dipakai.”

“Sharing-nya terbuka, real, dan tidak pelit ilmu.”

Bahkan salah satu peserta, Euis Wahyuni, membagikan pengalamannya bahwa sharing dari Co-Founder LINKID terasa humble, terbuka, real, dan penuh insight yang bisa langsung dipraktikkan.

Dan saya suka bagian itu.

Karena networking yang bagus biasanya menghasilkan tiga hal:

Satu percakapan. Satu insight. Satu kemungkinan baru.

Bukan sekadar tambah kontak.

📊 Lalu bagaimana kita tahu ConnectFest bukan cuma “ramai”?

Datanya bicara.

81 peserta tercatat dalam attendance sheet.

69 peserta hadir.

12 peserta tidak hadir.

Attendance rate mencapai 85%.

Dan peserta datang dari berbagai latar belakang bisnis dan profesional.

Jadi kalau ada yang bertanya,

“ConnectFest itu sebenarnya menghasilkan apa?”

Jawaban saya:

Connection. Conversation. Conversion.

Karena connection tanpa conversation hanya jadi kontak.

Conversation tanpa action hanya jadi obrolan.

Dan conversion? Nah, itu bagian yang kita harapkan dimulai setelah event. 😄

6 Jam, Bukan 48 Jam. Kok Bisa?

Saya datang ke LINKID ConnectFest 2026 untuk bicara soal connection.

Pulang-pulang malah dapat satu “connection” baru:

Problem + Workflow + AI.

Di akhir acara, saya melihat sesuatu yang membuat saya berhenti dan berpikir.

Tim AI by Design Solutions , salah satu strategic sponsor LINKID, menunjukkan prototype Dashboard LINKID Circle yang mereka bangun khusus untuk kebutuhan LINKID.

Bukan dashboard generik. Bukan template tinggal pakai. Bukan juga AI yang sekadar diajak ngobrol.

Tapi buat saya, bukan soal siapa yang paling cepat.

Yang lebih penting adalah bagaimana kita memulai.

Problem-nya jelas. Workflow-nya jelas. Outcome-nya jelas.

Baru kemudian AI masuk.

Karena kalau problem-nya masih “kayaknya bisa pakai AI”, jangan-jangan yang kita butuhkan bukan AI.

Kita butuh mikir dulu. 😄

OFFICE POLITICS: THE OFFICE HAS ITS OWN ELECTIONS. 😄

The difference?

There are no polling stations.
No ballots.
But there are still people busy looking for votes. 😂

I’ve become increasingly aware that the workplace has its own politics.

Some people have power.
Some have influence.
Some have “connections.”

And some even have their own WhatsApp group. 😄

Especially when an organization is going through transformation.

Structures change.
Strategies change.
Roles change.

Sometimes, the only thing changing isn’t the organization chart.

Friendship circles get an update too. 😂

I Said the Wrong Thing. Then I Saved the Moment.

My mouth moved faster than my brain.

You know that moment.

One sentence. One mistake. One very long “Oops.”

I said the wrong thing.

For a second, I thought the room would go awkward.

Instead, people laughed.

And suddenly, the tension disappeared.

That reminded me of something I have learned from years of speaking, hosting, moderating, and doing comedy.

You do not always need the perfect words.

Sometimes, you need the courage to own the imperfect ones.

So I did three things.

I admitted it. I laughed about it. I moved on.

No excuses. No awkward recovery. No pretending it never happened.

Just honesty, timing, and a little humor.

Because when you mess up in public, you have two choices.

Hide the mistake.

Or own the slip and earn the laugh.

I chose the second one.

And somehow, the wrong thing became the right moment.

That is Humor911 in a nutshell.

Rescue through honesty.

Sometimes, your mouth creates the problem.

Then your humor gets the job.

You know a meeting is in trouble when the projector dies before the people do.

I walked into this boardroom and saw the symptoms.

Blank faces.

Open laptops.

Coffee doing most of the emotional heavy lifting.

And a projector blinking like it was reconsidering its career.

I looked around the table.

Yep.

We had an emergency.

So I did what any responsible professional would do.

I reached into my bag.

Pulled out a tiny emergency siren.

Beep. Beep.

Everyone looked up.

I pointed at the screen.

“Projector status: critical.”

Then I looked at the smoke-filled image.

“Cause: dinosaur’s flamethrower.”

Silence.

One second.

Two.

Then someone laughed.

Then another.

Then the whole room cracked.

Even the boss.

That was my opening.

I stood up.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a Category Five boredom incident.”

Now we had a room.

Not just bodies around a table.

A room.

People were looking at each other.

People were talking.

People were contributing.

And then I noticed something more important than the laughter.

The quality of the conversation changed.

The quiet person started speaking.

The skeptical person started asking questions.

Someone challenged an assumption in the plan.

Another person suggested a simpler solution.

That’s when I knew the humor had done its job.

The projector was still dead.

The meeting wasn’t.

That’s why I call it Comedy CPR:

Assess.

Amuse.

Revive.

But here’s the business lesson.

Humor isn’t valuable because it makes people laugh.

It’s valuable because it can change how people communicate.

When people feel tense, they filter themselves.

When they fear judgment, they protect their ideas.

When the room feels boring or overly formal, people disengage.

A well-timed joke can lower that barrier.

People speak sooner.

People listen differently.

People challenge ideas without feeling like they’re challenging people.

And that matters.

Because your best business idea might already be sitting in the room.

The problem is, it may be trapped behind silence.

That’s where humor can help.

Not as entertainment.

As an entry point.

You create a moment where people relax.

Then you use that moment to get serious about the work.

That’s my rule:

Make them laugh.

Make them think.

Make them contribute.

Because the goal isn’t a funnier meeting.

The goal is a better meeting.

Better ideas.

Better questions.

Better decisions.

So yes, the projector was still broken.

The PowerPoint was still ugly.

But people were awake.

Ideas were flowing.

And the boss was smiling.

Humor911 had answered the call.

Patient revived.

Meeting saved.

Powerpoint?

Still needs intensive care. 🚨😂
