DATA BERANTAKAN, PELUANG JANGAN IKUTAN
https://lnkd.in/p/gr4auEJu
Saya pernah melihat data yang jumlahnya bikin spreadsheet minta cuti.
Data numpuk.
Spreadsheet penuh.
Insight malah ngumpet. 😄
Insight Session
“From Messy Data to Business Opportunity”
Come join us tonight at LINKID !

WORLD TRANSIT HUB: 4 COUNTRIES, 1 FAMILY ✈️
https://lnkd.in/p/gnMA3wSd
I believe the best networking sometimes does not require a passport.
Just Zoom. Just an internet connection. Just one Toastmasters family. 😄
Tonight, I will be joining World Travelers Toastmasters Club, featuring speakers from 4 countries.
USA. Burkina Faso. Indonesia. Morocco.
Four countries. Four perspectives. One Toastmasters family. 🌍
The theme is “World Transit Hub.”
Transit usually means you are just passing through.
But in Toastmasters, I hope the connections do not just transit. 😂
Because we can:
✈️ Transit from one country to another.
🎤 Transit from one speaker to another.
🤝 Transit from simply meeting someone to building a connection.
And that is what I love about Toastmasters.
Geographical distance can be far. Time zones can be different. Languages can be different.
But the opportunity to learn and connect remains the same.

I Said the Wrong Thing. Then I Saved the Moment.
https://lnkd.in/p/dSCEgZ39
My mouth moved faster than my brain.
You know that moment.
One sentence. One mistake. One very long “Oops.”
I said the wrong thing.
For a second, I thought the room would go awkward.
Instead, people laughed.
And suddenly, the tension disappeared.
That reminded me of something I have learned from years of speaking, hosting, moderating, and doing comedy.
You do not always need the perfect words.
Sometimes, you need the courage to own the imperfect ones.
So I did three things.
I admitted it. I laughed about it. I moved on.
No excuses. No awkward recovery. No pretending it never happened.
Just honesty, timing, and a little humor.
Because when you mess up in public, you have two choices.
Hide the mistake.
Or own the slip and earn the laugh.
I chose the second one.
And somehow, the wrong thing became the right moment.
That is Humor911 in a nutshell.
Rescue through honesty.
Sometimes, your mouth creates the problem.
Then your humor gets the job.

I Called Humor911. The Meeting Needed CPR.
https://lnkd.in/p/gRZvY255
You know a meeting is in trouble when the projector dies before the people do.
I walked into this boardroom and saw the symptoms.
Blank faces.
Open laptops.
Coffee doing most of the emotional heavy lifting.
And a projector blinking like it was reconsidering its career.
I looked around the table.
Yep.
We had an emergency.
So I did what any responsible professional would do.
I reached into my bag.
Pulled out a tiny emergency siren.
Beep. Beep.
Everyone looked up.
I pointed at the screen.
“Projector status: critical.”
Then I looked at the smoke-filled image.
“Cause: dinosaur’s flamethrower.”
Silence.
One second.
Two.
Then someone laughed.
Then another.
Then the whole room cracked.
Even the boss.
That was my opening.
I stood up.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a Category Five boredom incident.”
Now we had a room.
Not just bodies around a table.
A room.
People were looking at each other.
People were talking.
People were contributing.
And then I noticed something more important than the laughter.
The quality of the conversation changed.
The quiet person started speaking.
The skeptical person started asking questions.
Someone challenged an assumption in the plan.
Another person suggested a simpler solution.
That’s when I knew the humor had done its job.
The projector was still dead.
The meeting wasn’t.
That’s why I call it Comedy CPR:
Assess.
Amuse.
Revive.
But here’s the business lesson.
Humor isn’t valuable because it makes people laugh.
It’s valuable because it can change how people communicate.
When people feel tense, they filter themselves.
When they fear judgment, they protect their ideas.
When the room feels boring or overly formal, people disengage.
A well-timed joke can lower that barrier.
People speak sooner.
People listen differently.
People challenge ideas without feeling like they’re challenging people.
And that matters.
Because your best business idea might already be sitting in the room.
The problem is, it may be trapped behind silence.
That’s where humor can help.
Not as entertainment.
As an entry point.
You create a moment where people relax.
Then you use that moment to get serious about the work.
That’s my rule:
Make them laugh.
Make them think.
Make them contribute.
Because the goal isn’t a funnier meeting.
The goal is a better meeting.
Better ideas.
Better questions.
Better decisions.
So yes, the projector was still broken.
The PowerPoint was still ugly.
But people were awake.
Ideas were flowing.
And the boss was smiling.
Humor911 had answered the call.
Patient revived.
Meeting saved.
Powerpoint?
Still needs intensive care. 🚨😂

I Stayed Too Long. Fear Got Comfortable.
https://lnkd.in/p/gV_FpKKf
I stayed in a relationship I knew I should leave.
Not because I was happy.
Not because I was confused.
Because breaking up felt harder than staying miserable.
Yes.
I knew the relationship was bad.
My heart knew.
My brain knew.
Even my morning coffee probably knew.
And yet, every morning I woke up, made coffee, smiled, and said:
“I’m fine.”
Apparently, I was running a full-time emotional customer service department.
Smile.
Nod.
Pretend.
Repeat.
I became very good at looking okay while internally submitting a resignation letter.
The problem?
Staying was familiar.
I knew the arguments.
I knew the silence.
I knew the routine.
Leaving?
No idea.
And apparently, my brain preferred familiar misery over unfamiliar freedom.
Very efficient.
Very logical.
Very human.
I kept telling myself:
“Maybe things will change.”
“Maybe I need to be more patient.”
“Maybe I’m expecting too much.”
Three maybes.
Three excuses.
One exhausted person.
Me.
Little by little, I started shrinking myself.
I asked for less.
Expected less.
Complained less.
Not because I needed less.
Because I was tired of explaining why I needed anything at all.
That was when I realized something uncomfortable.
I wasn't keeping the peace.
I was paying for it.
With my happiness.
With my confidence.
With pieces of myself I didn't even notice disappearing.
And then came the line that changed everything:
Pain is not a personality.
I had spent so long living with pain that I started treating it like part of my identity.
As if suffering made me loyal.
As if tolerating everything made me strong.
As if staying proved I cared.
It didn't.
Sometimes staying simply means you are scared to leave.
And that's okay.
Fear is human.
But fear should not get a permanent seat at the decision-making table.
So I finally asked myself a different question.
Not:
“How much longer can I tolerate this?”
But:
“What happens if I choose myself?”
That question scared me.
And saved me.
Leaving wasn't beautiful.
There was no movie soundtrack.
No dramatic sunset.
No perfectly timed inspirational quote floating through the air.
There were tears.
Doubt.
Loneliness.
That taught me something I wish I had learned earlier:
Ask three better questions:
Is this healthy for me?
Am I staying because I genuinely choose this, or because I am afraid of what comes next?
What is one small action I can take today to choose myself?
You don't need to have the whole plan.
You don't need to feel fearless.
You don't even need to leave everything today.
Start with one honest step.
One conversation.
One boundary.
One request for help.
Three small things can create one very different direction.
If you're reading this and recognizing yourself, don't ask how long you can survive it.
Ask what one small thing you can do today to stop abandoning yourself.
Pain is not a personality.
And fear doesn't get to write the ending.

I’m Flying Passportless Tonight ✈️
https://lnkd.in/p/ggsbPhMf
No passport.
No boarding pass.
No airport security.
Just one Zoom link, 28 speakers, and enough Table Topics to make my brain ask for immigration clearance. 😂
Tonight, I’m joining World Travelers Toastmasters Club for “Voice of the World 2026”, a Global Table Topics Showcase where speakers from around the world will step up, get a topic, and speak without knowing exactly where the conversation will fly.
And yes, I’m one of them.
I’ll be representing Indonesia in Room 1, Showcase-tant #12.

2. Retshidisitse Talafala, South Africa

That’s the beauty of Table Topics.
You don’t need:
A script.
A slide deck.
A five-year preparation plan.
You need a thought, a story, and the courage to start talking before your brain files a formal complaint. 😂
For me, this is more than a speaking showcase.
It’s another reminder that communication has no passport.
Our accents may be different.
Our stories may be different.
Our countries may be different.
But when we speak, listen, laugh, and connect, the distance gets a little smaller.
So tonight, I’m flying.
No passport required.
Just don’t put me in the wrong Zoom room. That’s when the real immigration problem begins. 😂✈️

Just one Zoom link, 28 speakers, and enough Table Topics to make my brain ask for immigration clearance. 😂

🥈 SECOND PLACE, FIRST-CLASS MEMORIES! 🌍✈️
I came to Voice of the World 2026 with one simple mission:
Think fast. Speak clearly. Try not to panic. 😂
And somehow, I walked away as the 2nd Place winner of the Global Table Topics Showcase! 🥈🎤
27 showcase-tants. 2 rooms. 1 unforgettable experience.
Standing on that virtual stage with speakers from around the world reminded me that Table Topics is never just about finding the perfect answer.
It’s about staying present, trusting yourself, and speaking even when your brain says, “Can we have a little more time?” 😂
My deepest gratitude to World Travelers Toastmasters Club, especially Lisa Qu, DTM, PRA and Valentine Muradzikwa, DTM, for creating this amazing passport-free journey.
Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, listened, and cheered us on. 🌎❤️
And congratulations to the Champion and fellow podium finisher! 🏆👏
For me, this wasn’t just a 2nd place.
It was 1 reminder: You don’t always need more time to shine. Sometimes, you just need to start speaking. 🎤✨
Passport checked? No. Boarding pass? No. Second place? YES! 🥈😂
What’s the best lesson you’ve learned from speaking under pressure?
