Tamil Nadu is emerging as a post-agrarian economy and socially shifting its labor force away from the primary sector. This ensures stable employment in the non-agricultural sector, and it does not suffer from the inherent problem of seasonality in employment as in the primary sector. Thus, it ensures a regular and stable source of livelihood, eventually ensuring prosperity.
