Today we have been working on the security audit of EXO Token. Here are our developer's comments on every point in the Exohood security.
1. The ^ symbol allows the use of compilers from the specified version (0.4.23) to 0.4.xx. But if you try to compile the code with a compiler of version 0.5.0, nothing will compile. It is assumed that to version 0.5.0; there will be no significant changes.
*So now using ^ is safe.
2. The function wallet. Transfer automatically defaults to the call of 2300 gas.
*OpenZeppelin implements this solution.
3. The token contract has a "burn" function.
*Since tokens are minted during the investment, we will not create all unsold tokens, so there is no need to burn tokens.
4. Updating the compiler on the platform is performed after its reliability is repeatedly tested on the test server.
However, this report does not contain any criticisms requiring corrections.

Following the thread of our conversation, in discussion with the development team, we have reached a balance point regarding the model with which we want to work in EXO TOKEN (Burn and Mint Equilibrium). However, the recommendation has been that we close the contract of MINT for the future and that the maximum token is 1,000,000,000 EXO. This recommendation is to avoid that in the future, there could be an exploit that could break the security of the contract and perform an unauthorized MINT and break the balance of our ecosystem. We want to consult with you through a poll if you think it is necessary to close the contract.
Pros: There will be no more MINT, so the only TOKEN we will have in the ecosystem will be 1,000,000,000 EXO.
We will not have security risks or concerns in the future about a MINT; the contract code will be closed.
Cons: Assets distribution - Millions of people need to have assets to utilize the entire BME model and set proper incentives.
No more MINT.
Pros: There will be no more MINT, so the only TOKEN we will have in the ecosystem will be 1,000,000,000 EXO.

Conclusion
The Burn and Mint equilibrium model requires both supply and demand to work.
