💲 Imagine this: you lend money to the US government. Logic says – if you give it for 10 years, you should earn more than if you give it for 2 years. Right? More time = more risk.

💥 But sometimes the opposite happens. Short-term bonds suddenly pay more than long-term ones. This flip is called a Yield Curve Inversion, and it’s one of the strangest signals in finance.

🔔 Why does it matter? Because history shows a chilling pattern: before every US recession since the 1950s, the curve inverted first. It doesn’t tell you when the slowdown hits… but it’s like a storm siren in the distance.

🦘 RBA Governor Michele Bullock noted that Australia’s latest economic data was slightly stronger than expected, with the board set to review it next week. AUDUSD fell to 0.6590.

💵 After testing the support level of 96.55, the price demonstrated growth toward the key resistance level of 97.70, where it also tested the local descending trend line. At the moment, the price is once again moving toward the support at 97.28.

🔼 If the price manages to break through the resistance at 97.70, the market structure will take on a bullish character, opening up growth potential with a likely test of the levels 98.03 and 98.43.

🔽 However, a break of the support at 97.28 could resume the decline, with a potential move toward the 96.55 mark.
