🔥 Trader’s Pre-Trade Checklist

Before hitting BUY or SELL, pause and ask yourself: Does this trade fit my plan, or am I acting on emotions?
This checklist helps remove doubts, stay disciplined, and reduce costly mistakes.

1️⃣ Strategy Alignment
🟠Identify the trend on higher timeframes and compare with lower ones.
🟠Mark key support and resistance levels.
🟠Make sure the setup matches your strategy (trend, counter-trend, breakout).
🟠Confirm the signal with indicators and candlestick patterns.

2️⃣ Fundamental Factors
🟢Are there any upcoming news or economic releases?
🟢Is volatility elevated due to Fed announcements, earnings, or inflation data?
🟢Check correlations with related assets.

3️⃣ Risk Management
🟠Define your position size (no more than 1–2% of your capital).
🟠Set stop-loss and take-profit levels.
🟠Risk/reward ratio should be at least 1:2.
🟠Plan for partial exits if needed.

4️⃣ Psychological Readiness
🟢Are you calm and ready to follow your plan?
🟢Free from revenge-trading after previous losses?
🟢Ready to close the trade without emotions if it goes against you?

5️⃣ Trade Logistics
🟠Double-check the order: ticker, direction (BUY/SELL), size.
🟠Confirm you’re trading in the right market session.
🟠Set alerts for key levels.

✅ If all points are checked — the trade is ready. If not — wait for a clearer opportunity.
