Have a listen to hear more about the smart cities infrastructure and the unimaginable implications of it.

Newcastle is named as one of the first trial smart cities in Australia.

How can we mitigate this?
Here are the top things i recommend:
1. Use an Open Source OS for your PC like Ubuntu
2. Stop using any big tech platforms associated to your identity
3. Get rid of any 'Smart home' devices
4. Use a VPN
5. Get a "Degoogled" phone to stop your phone spying on you

Google Engineer Placed On Leave After Insisting Company’s AI Is Sentient

https://thefreethoughtproject.com/google-engineer-placed-on-leave-after-insisting-companys-ai-is-sentient/

Today i saw this in a JB HIFI retail store...

This is exactly why we need to be moving away from big tech's proprietary operating systems and apps completely.

Such an integration is insanity, i would have never imagined that people would accept the integration of such private information as that into Google's mountains of data on them.

If people continue to sacrifice privacy for convenience the next thing we know we'll be in a digital ID prison indistinguishable from the social credit score dystopia of Beijing.

i sell 'degoogled' phones to completely disable google's ability to track, spy and listen to people.

Is loading the Android Custom ROM - LineageOS Safe for Privacy?

Rob Braxman, privacy and cyber security expert talks on the benefits of lineageOS vs a stock OS

Firefox Multi-Account Containers

This is a good solution to simplify browser isolation without installing 3+ different browsers. It will always be superior to use different browsers but this can serve as a middle ground for general users or additional sub-isolation.

Multi-Account Containers lets you keep parts of your online life separated into color-coded tabs. Cookies are separated by container, allowing you to use the web with multiple accounts and integrate Mozilla VPN for an extra layer of privacy.
