How to stop big tech watching you.
Obvious points:
1. Destroy your google home, amazon alexa, apple home ect, it is admitted fact these devices record every word you say.
2. Don't use any 'smart' cameras, doorbells or other devices promoted by big tech, it is also admitted fact that these devices are spying on you.
3. Do not take your stock devices anywhere you would like not to be tracked and listened to.
Less obvious tips;
1. Never use google/fb authentication to login to websites.
2. Use a degoogled / open source OS phone like ours.
3. Never login to google on a degoogled device, not even email. If you really need to read emails from your degoogled phone, setup forwarding to an app like k9-mail.
4. Never connect to your home WIFI without a VPN enabled on your device. The best way to do this is to setup a VPN on your router.
5. Cleanup google account settings, sign off all devices. Google forces 2fa if it knows you have logged in to a mobile device.
6. Regularly clear cookies on all browsers you use. This ensures web worker scripts by google are not able to run.
7. Always disable location on all your apps except for those you trust (privacy device recommended)
8. Never connect accounts together, avoid using google contacts.
9. Practice browser isolation. Isolate big tech activity to chrome and other stuff to degoogled chromium for example. (privacy device recommended)
10. Do not associate your identity with any new accounts you make, use a new email. (privacy device recommended)
