EURUSD depends on the stock market - FxPro News, Financial Market Analytics
EURUSD is trying to hold above 1.12, but fundamentals weigh on the euro. A post-election stock rebound would bring the bears back, and a break below 1.11 would extend the decline.
πΊπΈ Pre-market trading trends on the US stock market
π Positive momentum is prevailing in the US stock marketβs pre-market trading, particularly among the largest technology companies, indicating risk-on sentiment and investorsβ willingness to increase the risk profile of their portfolios.
In the Financials sector, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is up 0.86%, while Morgan Stanley (MS) is up 1.33%.
In the Information Technology sector, NVIDIA (NVDA) is up 1.40%, while Broadcom (AVGO) is up 1.25%.
In the Consumer Discretionary sector, Amazon (AMZN) is up 0.88%, while in the Consumer Staples sector, Walmart (WMT) is down 0.11%.
Against a backdrop of widespread gains among US large-cap companies, sustained demand for risk assets is limiting the dollar's potential to strengthen as a safe-haven asset.
In such a scenario, the foreign exchange market typically sees the dollar trade in a subdued or neutral manner, while short-term exchange rate fluctuations depend more on expectations regarding Fed interest rates and the external environment.

Crypto turns gloomy
The crypto market has lost 2% over the past 24 hours, falling to $2.57T, its lowest level in six weeks. The market has been in a fairly steady downtrend for almost a month, with occasional pauses, and is down more than 14% from its peak. It appears that the bears will not face serious resistance until the $2.48T region, where the 200-day moving average lies, and that level is not far from bear market territory ($2.36T). Sell-offs dominate among the most liquid coins, led by Near Protocol (-8.5%), Dash and Aave (-5% each). The top three performers of the day are Tron (+1.8%), XRP (0%) and Filecoin (-0.8%).
The sentiment index has plummeted to 26, just 1 point above the extreme fear zone and a three-month low. The last similarly dramatic shift in sentiment occurred in October last year, after which the indicator stayed in the lower half of its range for an extended period. However, unless equities see a repeat of the dot-com crash, growth is more likely to resume.

Will gold climb back above $4,000? - FxPro News, Financial Market Analytics
Gold rebounded from its annual low as the dollar and oil weakened, but the tech sector correction caps gains. A move above $4,000 depends on Brent, equities and the US midterms.
πΊπΈ Pre-market trading trends on the US stock market
π The US stock market is showing a predominantly negative trend in pre-market trading, with the pressure mainly concentrated on the largest companies.
In the Information Technology sector, Microsoft (MSFT) is down 0.37%.
In the Communication Services sector, Alphabet (GOOGL) is up 0.29%.
In the Consumer Staples sector, Coca-Cola (KO) is down 1.02%, while Procter & Gamble (PG) is down 0.84%.
In the Consumer Discretionary sector, McDonaldβs (MCD) is down 1.05%.
Selling pressure is clearly prevailing among megacaps, with pressure on Apple and several other liquid stocks creating a risk-off sentiment in the US market.
In the foreign exchange market, this is creating conditions for short-term demand for safe-haven dollar assets and may provide moderate support for the US dollar exchange rate as funds are reallocated into Treasuries and cash.

βΆοΈ Pro News Flash: Oil Market Turns Bearish as Supply Surges
π’οΈ Brent crude has recorded its sharpest decline in six months, as hopes of diplomatic negotiations between the US and Iran trigger a major shift in market sentiment. Investors are increasingly betting that the Middle East conflict could end sooner than expected, putting pressure on oil prices.
π Oil supply is also recovering. Exports from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq and Kuwait climbed 10% to 15.53 million barrels per day in October, reaching their highest levels since the start of the year. Meanwhile, the IEA forecasts global oil demand to fall by 2.6 million barrels per day in 2026.
π The turning point came after Tehran announced that its Supreme Leader had authorised negotiations with the US. Despite continued tensions, including US strikes on Kharg Island and attacks involving tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, markets are beginning to price in a shorter conflict.
π With supply recovering, demand weakening and diplomatic hopes growing, pressure on Brent is increasing. Could the worst be over for oil prices, or is another geopolitical shock waiting to send them higher?
