Pip: the smallest FX move

A pip is the standard smallest price move for most FX pairs, or 0.0001.

Why it matters: stops, targets, and spread are measured in pips. Example: 1.1000 to 1.1010 is a 10-pip move.

That simple unit helps you read movement and cost with less guesswork. Review the current details for the source-backed view.

SmartMoney AI is live, and I’m happier about the discipline behind it than any flashy headline.

It trades one research-validated structural edge on six FX majors, shows Smart Money Concepts context on chart, and keeps the focus on execution, not noise. Risk-first, no martingale or grid, broker-agnostic, and validated out-of-sample. Golden Key lifetime holders already have it, and it’s in tiers too.

Position sizing logic

Think of it like packing a suitcase: the space used should match what fits, not a fixed guess.

The EA first defines the stop, then sets risk as a % of equity, calculates the position size, and places the trade. Risk per trade is based on stop distance and account size, so sizing adapts automatically.

That avoids fixed lot sizes, which ignore volatility and account growth. Illustrative example: a wider stop means a smaller position. Review the current details.

Friday check-in from me: our breakout strategy is up 2.9% on GlobalPrime, and that’s the kind of number I care about.

It tells me the work is carrying into live conditions. I’ve spent the last 30 days on the unglamorous side: installer work, tighter bot logic, template handling, a new AI bot, stronger capital protection, and a more precise GoldenStrike bot. Some parts are moving; some are still in testing. For the rest of this week, I’m staying disciplined and keeping the focus on proof, not noise.

You deserve to understand what your trading system is doing.

You open MT5. Your account is in drawdown. Your robot is still running.

And the questions start.

Are these settings still suitable? What changed? Is the strategy behaving as expected? Should I intervene — or would that make things worse?

Then comes the practical side: finding the right SET file, checking versions, adjusting parameters, comparing reports, and explaining the entire situation to support.

These are the problems shaping the next EASY.

Over the past six months, more than 300 clients have given me invaluable insight into the everyday reality of algorithmic trading. Your questions, difficulties, and honest feedback have influenced what I’m building.

Thank you. Every one of you.

I spent all three months of summer working on the new EASY Trading AI, every day. By my current estimate, approximately 70% of the planned work is complete.

Here is where that work is going.

☁️ Cloud SETs with a clear selection process

A SET file contains the parameters that guide your trading system. We’re building a complete process around how those parameters are tested, selected, delivered, and monitored.

You’ll have three approaches:

- Selection based on recorded trades, with demo and real-account evidence clearly separated.
- Selection based on optimization and backtesting, with the source and limitations of the results visible.
- AI-assisted selection and adaptation, where an appropriate starting configuration is discussed and adjusted with you.

You’ll be able to keep a specific configuration or allow catalog selection within your chosen limits.

Before a change is applied, the system will check compatibility, permissions, and risk constraints. Existing positions will retain their original management rules.

You should be able to see which settings are running, why they were selected, and whether an update actually reached your trading system.

🧠 An AI assistant connected to your account

Imagine opening an account and asking:

“What contributed to this week’s drawdown?“

“How does this configuration differ from the one I’m using?”

We’re designing the assistant to work with your permitted account data, trade history, active configuration, and relevant technical information.

It will help investigate results, explain settings, compare suitable options, and prepare specific proposals. Where the evidence is incomplete, that limitation should be visible.

AI-proposed parameter changes will require your confirmation.** You’ll see the proposed adjustment and, separately, whether it was successfully applied.

🛠 Support that can investigate your situation

When you ask for help, the relevant account, system version, connection status, and available diagnostics should travel with the conversation.

Our support design combines AI specialists for onboarding and technical investigation with human escalation. Your conversation history and investigation context will stay together when a case changes hands.

That means a clearer path from “something seems wrong” to an explanation and a practical next step.

The engineering will speak through what we show

In this series, I’ll demonstrate the workflows: how configurations are selected, how AI investigates an account, how changes are confirmed, and how support follows a problem through.

My ambition is to help you achieve better results in algorithmic trading through disciplined testing, controlled automation, and decisions grounded in evidence. These are the foundations we’re putting into EASY.

The screenshot is your first look at the new client dashboard — a development preview using demo data.

Our target is to complete the update by the end of October 2026. I’ll announce the confirmed release date separately.

You helped me understand where the difficult problems are. Now I want to show you the care and engineering going into solving them.

Which costs you the most time today: finding suitable settings, understanding performance, or resolving technical problems?**

Your first launch starts here.

For many traders, the frustration begins before the first trade.

Choosing the right version. Understanding the licence. Installing the system. Connecting MT5. Checking whether everything is actually working.

Each step can leave you wondering: “Have I done this correctly?”

As a developer, I believe that helping you complete that journey is part of delivering a professional trading system.

That is why we’re redesigning the first experience inside EASY Trading AI.

The screenshot shows the new dashboard at first login. Its purpose is simple: help you understand where you are, what you need to do next, and where to get help.

Here is the journey we’re building:

1. Choose your goal
Explore a trading system, review the available testing and access options, or connect an existing MT5 account for analytics. Your starting point should reflect what you want to accomplish.

2. Follow the installation process
The dashboard will guide you toward the appropriate installation path and show your progress. Instructions, access details, and help will be available where you need them.

3. Check that the connection is working
Installation, connection, and receiving account data are separate milestones. We’re designing EASY to make that distinction clear, so you can see what has been completed and what still needs attention.

4. Begin understanding your results
Once your account is connected and data is available, you’ll be able to move into account analytics, explore trades, and follow performance over time.

Already trading with MT5? You’ll have a route to connect your existing account and bring its trades, results, and drawdown into one workspace.

Need help choosing or completing a step? We’re connecting support to the relevant account and setup context, so the investigation can continue from what is already known.

Good automation begins with a correctly configured system, a verified connection, and a trader who understands what is running.

Those are the foundations we’re building into EASY. In the coming posts, I’ll show how they connect to cloud configurations, account analytics, and AI assistance.

The image shows a development preview with demo data.

Which part of getting started has caused you the most frustration: choosing settings, installing a system, or checking that it is working correctly?

☁️ Cloud SETs: know why your settings were chosen

Behind every automated trade is a configuration.

But how much do you really know about the settings running on your account?
• Which conditions were they tested under?
• What evidence supports them?
• What would justify replacing them?

For a trader, these questions matter most when performance changes and the next decision feels uncertain.

This is one of the challenges I’m addressing in EASY Trading AI.

🔗 We’re building Cloud SETs around a connected process:
research → validation → selection → controlled application → confirmation from MT5

⚙️ A SET is the collection of parameters used by a trading strategy. Our planned cloud library will keep configurations versioned and linked to the evidence behind them.

🧭 Three approaches to choosing your settings

1️⃣ Selection based on recorded trades
Suitable configurations will be assessed using available, verified trading observations. Demo and real-account evidence will remain separate, with the relevant period and source clearly identified.
The amount and quality of evidence will matter. Gaps in the data will be visible.

2️⃣ Selection based on optimization and backtesting
You’ll be able to use configurations evaluated through our testing process, with compatibility and eligibility checks before selection.
The dashboard will identify when a selection is based on test results, so you can understand the evidence supporting it.

3️⃣ AI-assisted selection and adaptation
The assistant will help identify a suitable starting configuration, discuss it with you, and prepare specific adjustments using the permitted account context.
You’ll be able to review the proposed changes and their reasoning. Every AI-proposed parameter change will require your confirmation.

🎛 You decide how updates are handled
• For catalogue-based selection, you’ll be able to allow automatic selection within your chosen limits or keep a particular version fixed.
• A change in the rankings will not automatically override a fixed configuration.
• Risk limits and permissions will remain part of the application checks.

✅ An update must be confirmed where it matters: in MT5

Before application, the system will check:
• compatibility
• current permissions
• risk constraints
• whether the change can be applied at that moment

Existing positions will continue under their original management rules.

The dashboard will distinguish:
• a proposed change
• a delivered update
• a configuration confirmed as applied

Pending or uncertain outcomes will remain visible. That level of detail is central to the engineering.

🎯 My goal is to help you build a stronger algorithmic trading process:
• understand the evidence
• control the changes
• track what your system is actually using

ℹ️ The illustration shows the planned workflow, currently in development. In the coming posts, I’ll demonstrate how these decisions will appear inside your account and AI workspace.

❓ What evidence do you look for before trusting a new SET with your account?

The engineering behind every trade.

A trading signal is the beginning of a much larger responsibility.

What happens when two strategies want to use the same account’s risk budget? When a connection drops and an order’s outcome is uncertain? When new settings arrive while a position is still open?

These situations are part of everyday algorithmic trading. How a system handles them is an important measure of its engineering.

At ForexRobotEasy, this is central to the platform I’m developing.

In the previous post, I explained how Cloud SETs will help select and manage trading configurations. Today, I want to show you the foundation that will put those configurations to work.

Three trading approaches. One shared framework.

We’re developing three strategy families:

• Scalping AI — focused on short-term price movements.
• Trend Following AI — focused on directional market movements.
• Breakout AI — focused on movement beyond a defined range.

Each approach needs its own trading logic, testing, and conditions for use.

Our framework will provide the common engineering around that logic: risk checks, order execution, position management, and account reporting.

Risk must be coordinated across the account.

When several strategies share an account, their exposure needs to be considered together. We’re designing a common execution and risk layer to check new trading intentions against the account’s existing commitments and your permitted limits.

An order needs a confirmed outcome.

Sending a command and receiving a confirmed execution are different events. Our design tracks those stages and keeps uncertain outcomes visible until they can be checked against the broker’s records.

You should be able to understand whether an action is pending, confirmed, rejected, or still awaiting verification.

An open position needs continuity.

A position has an associated management plan. Changing a configuration for future entries should preserve the original management rules of positions already open.

That connection between the trade, its configuration, and its management history is an important part of the framework.

AI has a defined role.

The assistant will help analyse available account information, explain settings, and prepare proposed adjustments.

Cloud SETs will provide versioned parameters. The trading strategy will define its logic. The framework will check and carry out permitted actions.

Every AI-proposed parameter change will require your confirmation and pass the applicable checks before use.

This is the foundation I want our clients to benefit from:

Clear rules before a trade.
Controlled behaviour while it is open.
A traceable record afterwards.

My goal is to make automation easier to understand, investigate, and manage as you work toward better results in algorithmic trading.

The illustration shows the architecture we’re developing. I’ll continue sharing practical demonstrations as the connected workflows become ready.

Which would you like me to explain next: how the strategies manage risk, or how the AI assistant investigates an account?

William Harris

GoldenStrike, SmartMoney, and the next chapter of our strategy lineup.

In recent posts, I’ve introduced the new platform, Cloud SETs, and the shared trading framework behind Scalping AI, Trend Following AI, and Breakout AI.

Today, I want to talk about the other strategies many of you already know.

GoldenStrike, SmartMoney, and our wider strategy lineup are part of this transition too.

The experience, research, and development invested in those systems will carry forward. We’re planning their migration to the new framework, with each strategy receiving its own adaptation, testing, and release process.

For me, this is an opportunity to improve the complete trading system around every strategy.

Preserving each strategy’s identity

Different strategies interpret the market differently. Their entry logic, trading conditions, and position-management rules deserve individual attention.

During migration, we’ll review how each strategy behaves, how its parameters are configured, and how it interacts with the new execution and risk-management infrastructure.

The goal is to preserve what defines each approach while giving it a much stronger technical foundation.

A substantial step forward in quality

The improvements we’re working toward will reach several parts of the trading experience:

More systematic testing.
Versioned configurations and traceable results will help us compare changes, investigate weaknesses, and validate improvements before release.

Coordinated risk management.
Strategies sharing an account will operate within a common framework that considers existing exposure and the limits you have set.

Clearer execution and position tracking.
We’re connecting trading decisions, order outcomes, and position-management history so that problems can be investigated with the relevant context.

Connected configuration tools.
As each strategy is adapted, we’ll integrate the appropriate Cloud SET capabilities and make its settings easier to review, compare, and manage.

AI assistance with useful context.
The assistant will be able to help explain the strategy’s settings and available account data, investigate behaviour, and prepare proposed adjustments. AI-proposed parameter changes will require your confirmation.

My ambition is a major improvement in engineering quality across the lineup — something you can see in the testing, controls, diagnostics, and everyday experience of using each system.

A clear path for every strategy

We’ll introduce the migrated strategies progressively as their individual checks are completed. You’ll be able to follow what is being adapted, what is undergoing testing, and what is ready to use.

I know that many of you have spent time learning a particular system. That experience matters, and I want the transition to give you better tools for understanding and managing the strategies you already follow.

Which strategy would you like me to cover first in a dedicated update — GoldenStrike, SmartMoney, or another system from our lineup?

🔍 How our AI assistant will investigate your account

Your account is in drawdown. You want to understand what happened before deciding what to do next.
• Which trades contributed most?
• Did costs make a meaningful difference?
• Were several positions exposed at the same time?
• Which settings were active?

Answering those questions takes context, reliable records, and careful analysis.

At ForexRobotEasy, I’m developing an AI assistant that will help you investigate a specific account using authorised data and the platform’s analytical tools.

💬 You’ll be able to start the conversation directly from your account page:
“Why did my account draw down this week?”

🧭 Here is the workflow we’re building

1️⃣ Establish the context
The assistant will check which account and period you mean, what information is available, and how recently it was updated.
Missing records, delayed updates, and an offline connection matter. They affect what can reasonably be concluded.
For example, closed trades alone cannot establish the full equity drawdown that occurred while positions were open. The assistant will need the relevant historical observations and will identify gaps in that evidence.

2️⃣ Examine the account records
Depending on your question and the available data, the investigation can bring together:
• trades and their contribution to the period’s result
• commissions, swaps, and other recorded costs
• equity observations, open positions, and exposure
• the configuration versions and account events associated with that period

Deposits and withdrawals will be distinguished from trading performance.
The aim is to connect the relevant pieces so you can understand what changed and where a closer look is needed.

3️⃣ Explain the findings in plain language
You should be able to see what supports the explanation. The assistant will distinguish:
• what the records confirm
• possible explanations that need further investigation
• questions the available data cannot answer

Finding that losses were concentrated in one instrument, for example, is useful evidence. Determining whether a particular setting caused those losses requires additional analysis.

💬 You’ll be able to continue the investigation with follow-up questions:
“Show me the trades that contributed most.”
“Which configuration was active at the time?”
“What information is still missing?”

🛠 If the issue requires technical support, the relevant findings and conversation context can accompany the case.

🔒 Understanding comes before changing settings
An investigation will not alter your trading parameters by itself.
If the assistant prepares a proposed adjustment, you’ll be able to review the exact change and its reasoning. Every AI-proposed parameter change will require your confirmation, followed by the applicable runtime checks and tracking of the actual outcome.

🎯 My goal is to help you move from uncertainty to an explanation you can inspect — and a next step you understand.

That is the kind of practical AI assistance I want to bring into everyday algorithmic trading.

ℹ️ The illustration shows the planned investigation workflow, currently in development.

❓ What would be the first question you would ask the assistant about your account?

🔄 What happens after your robot opens a trade?

A position moves into profit, then pulls back.
• Should the robot hold?
• Move its stop?
• Close the trade?
• How long should it keep the position open?

For a trader watching the account, these decisions matter as much as the entry itself.

At ForexRobotEasy, I’m putting considerable development work into how our systems manage the entire life of a position. Today, I want to show you that process through the scalping engine we’re building.

📋 Every position needs a management plan
The configuration active at entry will define the relevant risk and management rules. The framework will keep that plan associated with the position, so its subsequent actions can be traced and reviewed.

Entry logic and position management have different responsibilities. In our planned scalping engine, a weakening entry signal alone will not automatically close an existing trade. Its management rules will determine what happens next.

🛡 Protection needs confirmation
A requested stop-loss and a stop-loss confirmed by the broker are different states.

The framework will track that distinction. If protection cannot be confirmed, the system must follow its defined failure-handling rules and make the unresolved status visible. A connection failure cannot be treated as proof that an instruction was executed.

🎛 Management follows the strategy’s rules
Depending on the configuration, the scalping engine will support, alongside its defined exit conditions:
• cost-aware break-even rules
• trailing stops
• a maximum holding time

These controls will have explicit activation conditions. Their use will depend on the strategy and the options enabled for that position.

This gives us a precise basis for testing behaviour: which condition was reached, which action was requested, and what the broker confirmed.

☁️ A new SET should preserve continuity
Cloud configurations will evolve as research and testing progress.

When a new configuration is applied for future entries, positions already open will retain their original management plan. A routine update should not silently expand the risk of a trade already in progress.

🧾 The history should explain the outcome
We’re connecting the trade, its SET version, management events, and broker records.

That will help you — and the AI assistant investigating your account — understand how a position was handled and identify what needs further examination.

🎯 My goal is to make the quality of our engineering visible in everyday use: consistent rules, carefully checked actions, and a record you can inspect.

From entry to exit, every step matters.

ℹ️ The illustration shows the planned scalping workflow, currently in development. Individual strategies will have their own management rules and release checks.

🔑 As we approach the full platform launch, we’re also preparing significant changes to the Golden Key offer for new purchases. I’ll explain the transition in a dedicated update. Existing holders will retain the rights included in their purchase.

There is more to show you — and I want you to understand the work behind the next generation of ForexRobotEasy.

Built on experience. Engineered for what comes next.

You should be able to open your trading workspace and understand what is running, which settings are active, and what needs your attention.

That is the experience I’m working to deliver with the next generation of ForexRobotEasy.

Our strategies, cloud configurations, and automation are already part of the existing project. Over the past six months, feedback from more than 300 clients has helped me understand where they bring value — and where bugs, setup difficulties, and disconnected information make the experience harder than it should be.

I’ve taken that experience into the design of the new platform.

A shared foundation for the whole trading journey.

We’re developing our own trading framework and designing the surrounding platform to work with it from the outset.

Strategy logic, Cloud SETs, execution, account analytics, and AI assistance will share consistent records, permissions, and rules for applying changes.

For you, that means:

• Clearer control over your settings.
See which configuration is actually applied, review proposed changes, and distinguish a pending update from a confirmed result.

• Coordinated risk and position management.
Check new trading intentions against account exposure and your permitted limits, while preserving the management plans of positions already open.

• More useful account analysis.
Connect results with trades, recorded costs, configuration versions, and account events so that you can investigate what happened.

• AI and support with the relevant context.
Ask questions about a specific account and work from the available evidence. AI-proposed parameter changes will require your confirmation.

• A more systematic way to improve our strategies.
Test individual adaptations, investigate problems through recorded events, and release updates with a clear understanding of what changed.

Our existing strategy lineup is part of this transition. Each system will be adapted and checked individually, with releases introduced progressively as they become ready.

Building our own framework gives us greater control over how these pieces interact. It also gives us a common foundation for improving compatible strategies over time.

My aim is a substantial step forward in reliability, control, and everyday usability. We’ll demonstrate that progress through testing, practical walkthroughs, and the behaviour of each release.

What this means for Golden Key.

If you’ve been considering access to our strategy lineup, now is a good time to review the current Golden Key offer.

The terms for new purchases will change significantly when the full platform launches. Existing holders will retain the rights included in their purchase.

Review the included products, account allowance, and purchase conditions. If the offer fits your plans, you can choose your Golden Key under the terms available today.

A beautiful backtest can still mislead you

The biggest beginner myth is: “A beautiful backtest means future profits.” Backtests are easy to overfit, so they can look better than reality.

Automation helps with discipline, but it is not free money. Compare a backtest with a sufficiently long forward record before drawing conclusions, and treat forward-tested, verified live results on real accounts as the proof that matters.
