"*4 Hormones* which determine a *human's happiness.* Worth knowing...
There are four hormones* which determine a *human's happiness -*
1. *Endorphins,*
2. *Dopamine,*
3. *Serotonin,*
and
4. *Oxytocin.*
It is important we *understand these hormones,*
as we *need all four* of them *to stay happy.*
Let's look at the *first hormone* the *Endorphins.*
*When we exercise, the body releases Endorphins.*
This hormone helps the body cope with the pain of exercising. We then *enjoy exercising* because these Endorphins will make us happy.
*Laughter is* another good way of *generating Endorphins.*
We need to spend *30 minutes exercising* every day, read or *watch funny stuff* to get our day's dose of Endorphins.
*The second hormone is Dopamine.*
In our journey of life, we accomplish many *little and big tasks, it releases* various levels of *Dopamine.*
*When we get appreciated for our work at the office or at home,* we feel accomplished and good, that is *because it releases Dopamine.*
This also explains *why* most *housewives* are *unhappy* since they *rarely* get *acknowledged* or appreciated *for their work.* Once, we join work, we *buy* a car, a house, the latest gadgets, a *new house* so forth. In each instance, it *releases Dopamine* and we become happy.
Now, do we realize why we become happy when we shop?
*The third hormone Serotonin* is released when we *act in a way that benefits others.*
When we transcend ourselves and give back to others or *to nature or to the society, it releases Serotonin.* Even,
providing useful information on the internet like *writing information* blogs, answering peoples questions on Quora or *Facebook groups will generate Serotonin.*
That is *because* we will use our *precious time to help other* people via our answers or articles.
*The final hormone is Oxytocin,*
is released *when* we become *close to other human* beings.
When we *hug our friends* or family *Oxytocin is released.*
The *"Jadoo Ki Jhappi"* from Munnabhai *does really work.*
Similarly, when we *shake hands* or put our *arms around* someone's shoulders, various amounts of *Oxytocin is released.*
So, it is simple, we have to *exercise every day* to get *Endorphins,*
we have to *accomplish* little *goals* and get *Dopamine,*
we *need to* be *nice* to others to *get Serotonin* and
finally *hug our kids,*
friends, and families to *get Oxytocin* and we will *be happy.*
*When we are happy, we can deal* with our challenges and *problems better.*
Now, we can understand *why we need to hug a child who has a bad mood.*
So in order to feel more and more *happy* day by day ...
1.Motivate ourselves to play and have some fun- *Endorphins*
2. *Appreciate others* for any small or big achievements
*-Dopamine*
3. *Inculcate sharing* habit through you to others
*-Serotonin*
4. *Hug* your family, friends......
*-Oxytocin*
*Have a Happy Life*."

10 Evidence-Based Health Benefits of Cinnamon
By Joe Leech, MS — Medically reviewed by Amy Richter, RD, Nutrition — Updated on October 12, 2022
Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants and other beneficial compounds. Some research suggests that it may help support blood sugar control, protect against heart disease, and reduce inflammation.
Cinnamon is a spice that has been prized for its medicinal properties for thousands of years.
In recent years, modern science has started to confirm many of the potential health benefits associated with cinnamon.
➡️ Here are 10 health benefits of cinnamon that are supported by scientific research.
🍀Contains powerful medicinal properties
There are two main types of cinnamon (1Trusted Source):
Ceylon cinnamon: This type is also known as “true” cinnamon.
Cassia cinnamon: This is the most common variety today and what people generally refer to as “cinnamon.”
Cinnamon is made by cutting the stems of cinnamon trees. The inner bark is then extracted and the woody parts removed.
The distinct smell and flavor of cinnamon are due to the oily part, which is very high in the compound cinnamaldehyde
Scientists believe that this compound is responsible for most of cinnamon’s powerful effects on health and metabolism
🍀 One study found that cinnamon supplementation could significantly increase antioxidant levels in the blood while reducing levels of markers used to measure inflammation, such as C-reactive protein
In fact, the antioxidant effects of cinnamon are so powerful that it can even be used as a natural food preservative
🍀 May have anti-inflammatory properties
🍀 According to one review, supplementing with at least 1.5 grams (g), or about 3/4 of a teaspoon (tsp.), of cinnamon per day was able to reduce levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and blood sugar in people with metabolic disease
Another review of 13 studies found that cinnamon could reduce triglyceride and total cholesterol levels, both of which are risk factors for heart disease
Cinnamon has also been shown to reduce blood pressure when consumed consistently for at least 8 weeks
🍀 While more research is needed, some studies suggest that cinnamon may be able to reduce insulin resistance
By increasing insulin sensitivity, cinnamon can lower blood sugar levels and support better blood sugar control.
🍀 Cinnamon has been shown to decrease the amount of sugar that enters your bloodstream after a meal.
It does this by interfering with numerous digestive enzymes, which slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in your digestive tract
🍀 Certain compounds found in cinnamon appear to inhibit the buildup of a protein called tau in the brain, which is one of the hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease
In a 2014 study in mice with Parkinson’s disease, cinnamon helped protect neurons, normalized neurotransmitter levels, and improved motor function
🍀 Animal and test-tube studies indicate that cinnamon may have protective effects against cancer. More research in humans is needed.
🍀 Test-tube studies suggest that cinnamon oil could help kill certain fungi that cause respiratory tract infections
It may also inhibit the growth of certain bacteria, including Listeria and Salmonella
Plus, the antimicrobial effects of cinnamon may also help prevent tooth decay and reduce bad breath
🍀 Cinnamon extracted from Cassia varieties is thought to be beneficial against HIV-1, the most common strain of HIV in humans
Other studies suggest that cinnamon could also protect against other viruses, including influenza and Dengue, a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes
➡️ Though Cassia cinnamon is more affordable and more widely available, it’s also higher in coumarin, which can be harmful in large amounts. Ceylon cinnamon is a better alternative, which can be found at some specialty stores and online retailers.

10 Evidence-Based Health Benefits of Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a delicious spice with impressive effects on health and metabolism. Here are 10 evidence-based health benefits of cinnamon.
Post-Birth
I firmly believe that if the 30 day sitting period is observed, there are no post-pregnancy issues such as post-natal depression, haemorrhoids, etc.
In Chinese traditions there is something known as the 30 day sitting period. Sitting the month is also known as zuo yuezi, is a Chinese tradition that dates back to the I-ching, which is a 2,000 year old book that explained the formation of the universe and the relationship of man to the universe. "Sitting the month" depicts the first 30 days after childbirth where the mother heals by resting. “Eat well, sleep well, nothing is better than sitting the month well.”
The reason this tradition is still heavily ingrained in Chinese traditions today because it is said that the month directly after childbirth is the most crucial to the future health of the mother and newborn. Illnesses contracted during the month after childbirth never completely heal.
Immediately after childbirth, there is an empty cavity in the body where the baby once was. The new mother's body is "open" to receiving pathogens, especially wind and cold. If she catches the wind, the tradition states that it will cause future ailments and prevent the body from properly recovering. Symptoms include joint pain and arthritis.
From anywhere between 25-45 days after childbirth, the new mother and baby are confined to their home while the mother or mother-in-law takes care of them. In recent years, there are luxury confinement resorts, meal delivery systems for proper food nourishment, and nurse services that cater to this tradition, all around the world, in case you don't have access to your loved ones to help you.
The practice of confinement emphasises staying warm by remaining indoors and abstaining from a lot of movement or sensory overload by even having visitors, no gossip, extreme emotions, TV, are encouraged during this time except complete rest.
The following guidelines are also to be followed:
No sex.
No crying.
No visitors.
No air conditioning.
No washing one's hair.
No touching cold objects.
Avoiding contact with cold and wind.
Spending most of the time lying in bed.
Eating only warm, cooked, bland foods.
No work, no housework, no lifting or cooking.
During this month, I recommend that the new mother has plenty of soups and bone broths as the purpose of this is that the postpartum women to replenish what’s lost during the birthing process. The soup helps to strengthen the new mom by nourishing energy and Blood. Because milk production comes from energy and blood, it helps generate smooth lactation.
Bone broths are used because they are filled with collagen and protein, all while being low in fat. The soup is made by simmering the bones in vinegar which releases the calcium in the bones. Ginger is the other key ingredient because it is the most warming food to block cold from invading the body during this period. It is said that consuming this soup will prevent joint and body pain later in life.
In my opinion, modern day post-natal depression is due to lack of energy and Blood. Due to lack, Blood cannot provide the Heart and Mind with nourishment hence leading to post-natal depression.

restaurant style jeera rice | jeera pulao | authentic jeera rice |
Soaking Time: 30 minutes Preparation Time: 5 mins Cooking Time: 10 mins Total Time: 45 mins Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
For Restaurant Style Jeera Rice
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 cup long grained rice (basmati)
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp ghee
salt to taste
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania) , optional
1 tbsp melted butter
Method
For restaurant style jeera rice
To make restaurant style jeera rice, wash and drain the rice thoroughly.
Combine the rice along with enough water in a deep bowl, cover it with a lid and keep aside to soak for 30 minutes. Drain well and keep the rice aside.
Boil enough water in a deep non-stick pan and add the salt and rice to it. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 6 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Strain it using a strainer and transfer it into a flat plate immediately. Spread it evenly using a flat ladle and keep aside to cool completely (for approx. 30 minutes). Remember to toss the rice gently once in a while to ensure that all the steam gets evaporated.
Heat a broad non-stick pan and add the oil and ghee.
When the ghee melts just slightly, add the cumin seeds and sauté on a medium flame for 10 seconds. Remove the pan from the flame, add the cooked rice, a little salt and coriander and mix gently.
Put the pan back onto the flame and cook it on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while tossing gently but continuously.
Add 1 tbsp of melted butter and mix gently.
Serve the restaurant style jeera ricehot.
Handy tip
While soaking the rice, you can add 3 drops of lemon juice to ensure that after cooking each grain of rice is separate.
