You don't catch cancer, your body develops cancer. You don't catch diabetes, your body develops diabetes. You don't catch obesity, heart burn, acid reflux, headaches, fibrimyalgia, hyperthyroidism, or arthritis, your body develops it. These are all "Medical Conditions" that are developed in the body. It's not from a germ or a virus, or from bacteria. The majority of illness is in fact self inflicted. Drugs are not the answer. You don't have a headache because you are tylonol deficient. Instead of treating the symptoms with drugs, finding the cause and reversing the cause is what is going to truly help you heal. The real question to ask is why your body doesn't do what it was designed to do. You develop something because your body is out of balance, or a "toxin" is getting into your body and causing the problem to develop. The reason you get sick is:

1. You catch something and your body cannot fight it off, therefore you succumb to the "germs."

2. Your body develops something in the genetically weak areas.

In both of those cases the causes are the same.

A. Your immune system is weak.
B. Toxins are attacking your body.

If you ask the question, "What caused that?" We can conclude all illness comes from 1 of these.

1. You have too many toxins in your body.
2. You have nutritional deficiencies.
3. You are exposed to and negatively affected by electromagnetic frequencies.
4. You have trapped mental and emotional stress.

A toxin is a poison or substance that if taken in large doses can cause severe illness or death.
Statistics show conclusively that the more prescription or nonprescription drugs a person takes, the sicker they are. Why? Because all drugs have negative side effects. If you are taking a drug to suppress one symptom, that drug is causing some other major problem to start developing in your body. Drugs only suppress symptoms, they do not treat the cause. It's a great business for the drug companies. If they get you taking one drug that suppresses one symptom it will then begin to cause you to have another symptom. That's how they make money. It never addresses the cause in the first place. People always say, "it's just a small amount." If I put a small amount of throw up in your dinner, would you eat it? So why take a small amount of poison every day? If you don't think it's poison, a person that takes 30 of them may kill them. You don't die from eating 30 apples or bananas.

Address the cause, by eating more plants and less processed junk. Eat real food, not packaged poisons, processed sugars, GMO'S, pesticide laden foods, and processed meats that are known carcinogens.
Watermelon seeds
Ideal platelet range in TICM biochemistry is 200-250 in order to prevent disease. 9 out of 10 patients I see have a high platelet range. Neutropenia is also on the rise fast. Neutrophils range in TICM is 60-65% of white blood cells.
Headache Remedy
Why sleeping is so important between 10pm to 2am.
Frankincense for skin conditions

The frankincense tree is found in the Middle East, specifically Oman, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan and India.

The frankincense resin is gained by incising the bark of the trees, where it hardens in the sun and is then scraped off. It has traditionally been sold in frankincense bazaars for 100's of years.

Frankincense extracts have anti-inflammatory properties, which inhibits the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase. This is the key enzyme of leukotriene synthesis.

There are also anti-proliferative and anti-tumorous effects by inhibiting topoisomerases and capsases.

Frankincense is often prescribed in a skincare regime to treat inflammatory disorders such as actinic keratosis, psoriasis and acne due to its ability to work on the Blood.

It will also slow down the breakdown of collagen as a result of UV exposure. It's calming and soothing and as it strengthens the skins barrier function, it will also improve the appearance of fine lines as well as:

1. Inflammatory skin reactions
2. Sun damage and erythema
3. Acne
4. Rosacea
5. Perioral Dermatitis
6. Atopic skin and barrier disorders
7. Actinic keratosis

Constipation

Quickest way to harm immunity is not having a bowel movement every day. Constipation is your body signalling a deeper imbalance. Relying on laxatives further weakens your digestion, Liver function and colon's natural abilities. Use your symptoms to heal in a deeper way. There are three categories of constipation: emotional, acute and chronic.

Emotional constipation: emotions like anxiety, stress or worry interferes with the body's natural ability to go to the bathroom. If you experience these emotions along with constipation, don't rush off the toilet, as that can be why you are having problems. Instead, take your time and breath and relax.

Acute constipation: use some of the below remedies to help move things along.

Enema: helps relieve the sluggish Intestines. Particularly, coffee enemas help draw out toxins. Make sure you get the green light from your physician as detox may not be a good idea in your current circumstances.

Fractionated pectin powder: formulated from the peel and pulp of citrus fruits, it has a natural and gentle detoxifying effect on the body and Liver. It's rich in galactoside residues, molecules that have an affinity for binding to certain types of unwanted cells.

Magnesium: many studies have linked low magnesium rates to constipation, among many other ailments.

Aloe: has a soothing quality that helps inflamed intestines and offers a gentle laxative effect that can help relieve constipation.

Foods: make sure you are eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and foods with natural fibre. Make congee or sweet potatoes for breakfast. Hawthorn Tonic (extract) can relieve constipation caused by eating too much high-protein and fatty food.

Acupressure: check the video exercises you can do at home.
Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD)

NAFLD affects between 80 and 100 million individuals in the United States alone. It is estimated that this disease has reached a staggering one billion people across the globe. This ranks NAFLD as the top chronic disease in the US.

This disease remains severely under the radar, people don’t even know they have it. NAFLD is when too much fat is stored in Liver cells. Considering the standard western diet, it is no wonder the rates have reached this height. The largest contributor to NAFLD is the consumption of processed foods and sugars not fat. When sugar is consumed, lipogenesis occurs, which is the metabolic formation of fat, the body’s normal response to sugar. So it is actually sugar causing the fat build up.

Today, the average westerner consumes almost 152 pounds of sugar in one year, equal to consuming 6 cups of sugar in one week. Another alarming fact is that soda is the number one source of calories in the western diet, making high fructose syrup the main ingredient in soda and the biggest cause of NAFLD.

In TICM fatty liver is said to manifest from a pattern of Spleen deficiency that produces dampness and Liver energy stagnation. This translates to a direct correlation to diet, as the weakness of the Spleen creates a heavy phlegm like substance, referred to as dampness, disrupting the healthy flow of energy and Blood, creating stagnation, disharmony and eventually disease in the Liver.

NAFLD creates inflammation that leads to Liver disorders like steatohepatitis and cirrhosis of the Liver. Heart attack risks increase because high triglycerides develop and the good cholesterol (HDL) reduce. Diabetes and obesity are also related to NAFLD.
Fatty Liver

Can a fatty Liver be reversed? My answer is absolutely. Verily for every disease there is a cure. And once we find the root, we can start to dig them out.

Fatty Liver is generally associated with alcohol but this is no way the case. It is a huge problem in the west due to our lifestyle and diet. The severity of non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) affects between 80 and 100 million individuals in the United States alone, and about one billion people globally.

A healthy Liver is essential to our well-being, both for our emotional and physical health. Our Liver is responsible for the smooth flow of our vital energy, our Blood, and our emotions. It's like a factory, in charge of over 500 tasks, even helping us process and detox from the pollutants, chemicals and toxins in our environment. A healthy Liver equates to a healthy and happy life.

How can you help fatty liver?

Cut out processed foods including sugar, soda, and anything containing high fructose corn syrup, which is a dangerous ingredient, not only is it the number one contributor to NAFLD, but it is GMO.

Reduce starches: refined white flour and even “whole grain” or “wheat” are a problem as they can be loaded with sugars. Instead, try organic sweet potatoes, yams, potatoes, and rice, all of which are healing foods for the body. White rice is sometimes controversial in Western diets, but in TICM and many other cultures, white rice is very healing for the Spleen.

Liver formula’s brings balance and harmony back to the Liver with an ancient herbal formula. Helps the flow of Blood, energy, and emotions and aids in detoxification. Stress and emotions like anger, frustration, and irritability directly impact the Liver, weakening its functioning, making it more susceptible to disharmony.

Colon detox: helps the colon remove toxins while supporting your body’s warm energy, the energy needed to proper digestion, metabolic function and immunity.

Whole foods like good fats olive oil and avocado, consume dark leafy greens like artichokes, dandelion greens, kale, collard greens, mustard greens, Swiss chard, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, and cabbage. The Liver loves sour foods, this is the taste correlated to the organ, so include plenty of lemons, limes, apple cider vinegar, and fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi. Daikon radish, goji berries, onion, garlic, milk thistle and turmeric are amazing as well.

Ginger powder increases warm energy to power the body to remove toxins, promote circulation, increase immunity and metabolism. This directly supports Liver function.

Get moving as we all know the importance of moderate, consistent movement. Working up a sweat helps the body detox naturally and release toxins stored in the Liver.

vitamin D and magnesium are crucial in helping the body come back to balance. Magnesium can be taken in several forms. please see previous post.

Acupressure: use the thumb to press and massage Liver point in between the big toe and second toe on both feet everyday.
🔈 NECK PAIN, HEADACHES OR TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT (TMJ) SYNDROME?

[NEUROMUSCULAR INTERACTION BETWEEN SUBOCCIPITAL MUSCLES AND TMJ MUSCLES]

The TMJ is a complex joint that allows us to open/close our mouth. TMJ disorders do not only create pain and limitations with the jaw. Oftentimes, there are associated issues with the neck, face, and ears.

The body is classically divided into systems such as muscular, skeletal, nervous system etc.
However, this is a mirage as these systems are all a part of one super-system that works in unison to create function.
An excellent example of this is the links between the muscles of the suboccipital region, the jaw muscles and the central nervous system.

As you know the suboccipitals are short and have only minor contributions to gross movements of the spine. However, they are loaded with sensory muscle spindles which indicate these muscles have a strong link to the cerebellum and the CNS. Postural distortions that affect the position of the skull and upper cervical vertebrae are immediately relayed to the CNS via these spindle receptors and the ganglion of C2 which is the largest in the body with 49,000 neurons. For comparison, the T4 ganglion has 24 neurons. More neurons = higher speed delivery of information to the brain.

The muscles of the jaw include the masseter as well as the deeper pterygoid muscles. They obviously allow for chewing but also have an interesting link to the CNS. The masseter has been shown to spontaneously activate during periods of stress. The masseter will also activate in unison with the subocciptal muscles during sudden postural changes in order to keep the eyes stable on the horizon.

The suboccipital and TMJ muscles may not be physically linked but they are absolutely “connected” in the cerebellum and in most clinical cases. This relationship tells us these muscles have a large role in stress/sympathetic nervous system syndromes as well as global postural regulation. A patient may present with complaints of neck pain, but now we see how we must look globally at posture, TMJ function, vestibular function and stress management!

Liver and Weight Gain

There are so many fad diets, teas, pills and shakes to name a few things on the market that have been set up for failure by big pharma. I can comfortably say that I firmly believe that big pharma products extends to the so called 'herbal' products as well.

We all want to look good like the photo shopped woman on the cover of vogue. But if you do wish to lose weight, we need to take a deeper look at why we are not shifting weight. TICM do not believe in diets. You will fail. I personally to not believe in the western concept garbage about fast or slow metabolism either. People should be able to have a normal healthy meal and easily lose weight or not gain any further weight. Usually it is due to Spleen dysfunction why people suffer. However, we always overlook the Liver. Could Liver be the reason why you are putting on weight, not losing weight?

People never think about Liver health in terms of weight loss, but the Liver is responsible for helping metabolise fat. Our Liver is the second largest organ in your body. It helps process nutrients from food and drinks and filters harmful substances from your blood. It also produces bile, which breaks down fat while also working like a filter to clean toxins out of our blood, helping us feel energised. Optimising your liver health can help you lose weight and meet your athletic goals.

Most people struggle with overburdened Livers due to a toxic medication, diet and lifestyle. This means their bodies are ineffective at digestion and fat breakdown, resulting in weight gain, feeling heavy, bloated and sluggish. A stressed out Liver can also cause fat to build up, especially around the belly. This can mean that no matter how much you restrict calories, weight loss is near impossible unless you detox your Liver. The Liver’s role is therefore crucial for efficient circulation, metabolism and fat breakdown. There is no other organ like it.

Too much fat in your Liver can cause liver inflammation, which can damage your Liver and create scarring. In severe cases, this scarring can lead to Liver failure.

Before you go on a crazy cleanse, what are some signs beyond stubborn belly fat and excess weight that can show you may be dealing with a Liver overload?

Chronic fatigue as tiredness that is abnormally long in both duration and frequency is one of the most common symptoms of Liver toxicity. Physiologically, toxins in the Liver often disrupts muscle metabolism, which can result in aches, pains, and physical tiredness.

Allergies: a healthy Liver will produce antibodies that will, in turn, seek out and eradicate allergens within the Liver. A build up of allergens causes the brain to initiate a defense mechanism against perceived threats, which it does via the creation of histamine. This response systematically loops, resulting in build up of the chemical. When this occurs in someone with a fatty Liver, allergic symptoms such as headaches, itchiness, skin irritation, and so forth often surface.

Brain fog as it is possible for toxins to accumulate in areas of the brain. When this happens, the above mentioned symptoms of brain fog often surface. Also, progressive mental confusion can be an underlying symptom of Liver disease.

Excess sweat and body odour. When the Liver becomes overworked, it naturally releases a large amount of heat. This is a common occurrence in someone with a fatty Liver. Of course, elevated heat transferred throughout the body results in sweating, as the body attempts to regulate its temperature to cool off. Excessive sweating leads to unpleasant body odour and the heat, sweat, stink cycle repeats.

Hypertension as someone with a fatty Liver is more likely to experience hypertension (high blood pressure). However, the real danger lies not only in the symptom, but its effect on the body. A Liver covered by fatty tissue, combined with elevated blood pressure, can either promote Liver disease, or signify advanced states of a Liver condition.
If you are struggling with any of these symptoms or you are having a tough time shedding some extra weight, I suggest you see a TICM doctor for Liver herbals.
⚕️ INSULIN AND GLUCAGON ⚕️

Diabetes Mellitus is a complex disorder of fat, carbohydrates, and protein metabolism. It results from the insufficiency/dysfunction of the pancreas resulting in a lack of insulin (Type 1 DM) and/or an inability of cells to respond to insulin ("insulin resistance in Type 2 DM).To truly understand the signs and symptoms of the various related conditions, we must first, comprehend some basic physiology surrounding glucose and insulin.

🔸GLUCOSE: The primary energy fuel for cells is glucose. Glucose is a simple sugar that accounts for approximately 95 percent of the sugar in the bloodstream after gastrointestinal absorption. The acute and chronic pathology of diabetes is focused on glucose concentration in the blood and the fact that the brain can only run on glucose, not fat-breakdown products like other cells.

🔸INSULIN: The key function of insulin is to move glucose from the blood into the cells, where it can be used for energy. However, insulin does not directly carry glucose into the cell, but triggers a receptor on the plasma membrane to open a channel that carries the glucose molecule into the cell.As long as insulin is available in the blood and the receptor is functioning, it will continue to move glucose into cells, even if the blood glucose level falls below the normal range. When properly functioning, insulin secretion decreases as the blood glucose drops.
Strange but true! You can regulate high blood pressure with old copper coin.

High blood pressure is linked with many severe health issues & may cause death because of brain hemorrhage, heart stroke, kidney failure etc. Generally people are unaware with this issue for years as initially it does no harm.

Unhealthy diet & improper lifestyle is the main cause of high blood pressure. Smoking & drinking alcohol, excessive non-veg, intake of oily & spicy foods, taking junk foods, excessive stress, anger & irritation, excessive salt, less physical activity, using modern medicines for long time, obesity, thyroid, hormonal disorder etc. are few reasons for hypertension.

Here are some symptoms of high blood pressure or hypertension: coldness in hands & feet, indigestion, breathing problem, headache, weak vision, dizziness, heart pain, irritation, anger, weak memory, frequent urination in night, respiratory disorders, nose bleeding etc.

Let's learn how to control high BP with copper coin?

Step 1: Take a copper coin, clean it.
Step 2: Heat the coin on flame until it becomes red.
Step 3: Take a glass of water & dip the heated red coin in water.
Step 4: Drink this water 2 times everyday.

Drinking this water normalizes blood pressure in few days.

Note: Scientific kind of people should ignore this remedy.

Masking or managing blood pressure is like you are trying to fill a water bucket which has many holes at the bottom, you need to fix that hole rather than continuous water filling or adjoining more water resources.
