Gboard fixes the black navigation bar in incognito mode.
Remember when you opened the keyboard in incognito mode in chrome and saw a black navigation bar? This problem was fixed in the latest beta update 12.2.03.469624536-beta.
By the way, it was fixed after we reported it on the issue tracker.

Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 is out!

Build: T1B1.220819.006, T1B1.220819.007 (Pixel 6a only)
Google has opened testing of the firmware, which is due out this December. As usual, there will be 3 betas. This beta test is relevant for the Pixel 4a, 4a (5G), 5, 5a, 6, 6 Pro and 6a.
The list of changes is quite small. The update from the stable build weighs about 300~400 MB.

This beta comes with Google Play System Update for October 2022. And if you enable the unified 'Security & privacy' settings page with special ADB command, you will see that this page looks more compete now, compared to August.

Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 enables Spatial Audio support.
There is a new Spatial audio switch in the Sound & Vibration settings, the description of which reads "Audio from compatible media becomes more immersive". The switch is also available in the audio device settings.
In addition, Opus (and LC3) are now shown as available codecs in the Bluetooth Audio Codec selection.
UPD: Spatial audio doesn't work yet.

Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 reveals some Pixel Tablet stuff.
Kuba Wojciechowski found some animations called "Tangor_SUW_DockUndock_V3" and "Assistant OOBE - Tablet Works While Charging". These animations will play in the tablet setup wizard.
As you may recall, Tangor is the supposed codename of the Pixel Tablet. Also, previously there were rumors that Google is working on a hybrid Nest Hub with a detachable screen and docking station.

Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 contains hidden 'Clear Calling' feature.
"Clear calling" that will reduce background noises during calls. It works "for most mobile networks" but it's "not available for Wi-Fi calling." Contents from your calls are "not sent to Google." You can enable it without root by sending the following shell command:

Settings will tell you if the condition of your battery is at "low", "peak", or "stable" performance. You'll get an assessment of the health that's either "excellent", "fair", "good", or "poor".
This feature is not yet available.
Also, system will show warranty info on-device.
