🇬🇧 Android 13 DP1: the ability to enable "Show touches" on screen recordings is back. Previously, this switch was missing in Android 12 L Beta 2, and is still missing in Beta 3.
🇬🇧 Android 12.1(L) still does not fix the lack of the "Show touches" switch.
But it is still present in Android 13 DP1. As Mishaal Rahman says, this is likely due to a issue mentioned in this code change. Even though it has a "do not merge" status, for some reason it still made it into the release (But definitely this problem will be fixed in the future). Earlier, Google broke the touch display in Beta 1 and then removed the switch altogether in Beta 2.

Archiving will help free up ~60% of app storage temporarily by removing parts of the app rather than uninstalling it completely. They remain on the device while preserving user data. Developers are also encouraged to opt out of this feature. No timeline for implementation has been reported, but the feature will probably launch with Android 13. Read more:

🇬🇧 Opting out of Android Beta Program today wipes your Pixel as bug serves 12 QPR3 OTA on 13 DP1
Google confirmed that after opting out, “all user data on the device will be wiped.” There is no “window of opportunity to unenroll without wiping your device” like there was following the public launch of Android 12 in October but before the 12L Beta started in December.
Also, you should not install Android 12 QPR3 Beta 1 over 13 DP1 if you see an update. (this is a bug and not an intended behavior)
