One of the sessions of the upcoming Google for Games Development Summit indicating that the company has found a way to run Windows games on Linux without modifying them, all thanks to emulation. (The Stadia servers are based on Linux, which is why the library of games available on Stadia is not so large.)

- Drive for iPad will have new widget sizes, including XL, which will show more files.
- The new Google Translate widget puts the app’s most popular features within easy reach.
- Notifications from Gmail and Chat on iOS will now show sender photos. You will also now be able to choose which Chat and Gmail chat notifications break through Focus on your iPhone or iPad.

🇬🇧 Google Contacts will finally lose the hamburger menu in favor of a bottom bar
Previously, the app already moved the settings item to the menu under the profile icon. Now most of the items from the hamburger menu are moved to the "Fix & manage" section, which is accessible via the new bottom bar. There you'll find options for managing your contact library. But since Android Police has only received screenshots, it's not yet clear exactly where you'll be able to access your labels.

Ранее в приложении уже перенесли пункт настройки в меню под иконкой профиля. Теперь же большинство пунктов из боковой шторки перемещаются в раздел "Управление контактами", доступный через новую нижнюю панель. Там вы найдете опции для управления библиотекой контактов. Но так как Android Police получила только скриншоты, пока неясно, где именно вы сможете получить доступ к своим ярлыкам.

It's hard to say why Google did this. It's possible that this element is used somewhere else, and the change itself is part of the Material You redesign.

🇬🇧 Google has finally changed an outdated design on location modal dialog into Material You.
This dialog window hasn't changed its design since Android 5.0, or even longer. In December 2021, I sent a report to issue tracker (which googler then copied, marking mine as duplicate, lol), and in February the status changed to fixed. As you can see, it now has rounded corners and is generally consistent with the Material You design. The update comes via Google Play Services.

Данное окно не изменяло свой дизайн еще с Android 5.0, если не раньше. В декабре 2021 года я отправил репорт на issue tracker (который затем скопировал гуглер, пометив мой, как дупликат, лол), и в феврале статус поменялся на исправлено. Как можете видеть, теперь у него скругленные углы, и в целом он соответствует дизайну Material You. Обновление приходит через Сервисы Google Play.
