Cut off Prediction 2021

We have gone through the paper from an aspirant perspective and simulating real exam like conditions!

Paper this year was on expected line with the toughness slowly being increased!

We have been able to hit bulls eye last 3 years and based on our assessment this can be the range of tentative cut off 🙏

And with utmost humbleness we want to state that UPSC can humble anyone of us even for this exercise any year, which again will be a great learning curve to alter the algorithms

*Anyways if anyone is getting more than 95, start preparing for mains, no wastage of time please*

In case of sectional papers, if you are getting more than the numbers mentioned, keep preparing for mains

A glimpse of how we predict it

Nearly 15 Q are from old UPSC papers directly or indirectly and that too last 5-10 years

So the best place to start for prelims always is upsc paper and each and every word of the prelims paper!

I will solve the paper by this Sunday and then will start for mains positively


Tomorrow we will discuss atleast 25Q in the paper

And if you are getting more than 90 even, go for the kill!

Prepare for mains thoroughly

Jo list me hote hain wo ye taiyar karte hain

1) How will the NEP affect the kids
2) what are key features of Ujwala 2
..

Kehne ka matlab mains ka

And decode karenge is baar

Prelims se bhi kam humne mains padha tha par koshish ki thi marks orientation ki

Many of you have always asked for how to begin for mains, I will try to guide you collectively, not individually though

1) Remember name of all important committees mentioned here in 2 days (atleast 40)
2) Quotes I will provide

By Sunday complete these two things

what is to be done in Key reports and Indices

Glance them through once in 2 hours, mark with a pen/ marker which you feel are important for UPSC

Now take a copy or 9-10 A4 sheets and write 3/4 lines about each report in your paper

- India's performance
-Who gives
Has India improved / fallen
Key parameters covered by report
Which kind of Q this report can be used ( which paper)

*These were the first things I did post prelims in 2017 as I also had RBI mains in 15 days, so I thought these will help in RBI paper as well*

Once you have done these three pillars with utmost dedication and honesty, you will start getting an extra marks in Mains paper and may be in test series as well in almost every Q ( I am not a big fan of test series evaluators though & never gave any test series for mains, so can't comment) but yes yahi sabse mere marks aaye they, core knowledge ke liye mere paas time nahi tha
