I leave with you my all time favorite feeling
When I run let say 10 km then first 2 km are easy, next 2 are also moderate, last 2 I run thinking my parents, my gf/wife are watching, like common manish you have to do it for us!!
You can do it and I am going to get a great hug from them post the race!
But no one cares about the 4-8 km! It is the most difficult. And I keep saying to myself
Jarvis kitna bacha hai power level ( jarvis from iron man) and then mera inner soul replies
Battery still 89%
So that's my way of self motivating myself, thinking while this 22-25 minute are common for all the people in this world, I am doing a favour to myself by doing this 4 km which would make me happy about today 😄
And after 80% of the race is over fir lagta kaafi close hain ab to target ke
Isliye wo 40-80 achha karna hai
That is the main pillar of preparation
Jab koi nahi dekhta, market me koi halla nahi aapka, jab aap bas khud se imaandar rahke taiyari kar rahe ho ki ek din laana hai bhai 2/3 digit rank and karna hai kaam
Mujhe IAS isliye nahi banna ki mujhme sirf potential hai balki isliye banna ki mera potential desh ke kaam aa skta positively

*Key Points for Mains*
(Based on My Understanding)
SEQUENCE
S-- Statistics to start with, any data which is relevant / Also mention P1/P2 error in data collection can happen
E-- Emphasize on your vision of the Q asked! How will you handle it
SWOT/ Pro Con analysis / A Debate like Economy vs Ecology / Demand Side- Supply Side and many more which we will discuss
Q---Quotes of undisputed leaders like Gandhiji / Vivekanand ji and Quality Words like Sustainable Development/ Organic Growth/ Humanitarian Approach etc
U--- Use of Diagrams Venn Diagram / Binomial Curve / Mathematical function / Tree diagram / Quadrant / Kuznet Curve etc can be done.
I used to always write in resource Q that
*Sum of Resources is constant
So Delta Derivative resource is 0*
Hence we exploit and try to create an a I anomaly to this function, the nature will counterbalance it
Similarly
Behavior = Genes* Environment
Disaster = Vulnerability * Hazard
Poverty = f( inequality, vulnerability, population growth, information Asymmetry leading to corruption)
Good Governance = Will*Execution measured by timely delivery of service to all beneficiaries without Pilferages
E : Ease of writing and reading the answer , the flow needs to be there and neatness as well
I saw one girl cutting an answer 2 times to fill the 4 pages, that is wrong, your elegance is very important
N : Newness in ideas and overall presentation ( I have shared BCG matrix, Ikigai Concept, 7S , 4P framework etc) / Niti Aayog - You can Quote them and 2nd ARC in many answers
Committee and conclusion : Use SDG 4.1 also says this, this committee also says this
If nothing then write a draft policy should be formed to do this
And kuch nahi aata to citizen charter, UN agency, Paris Principle, isi tarah se
*Final E is for effort*
This all requires a consciousness effort, pen se highlight ya underline karke ya achha handwriting me likhne me
My idea always was
If I don't follow the *SEQUENCE* Method, I will get avg marks, what can push me is this Sequence, so it really helped me
I will slowly teach all pillars this year

Hi All
These are my few cents of learnings from my Zindagi Ke Panne, thought of sharing with you all on the auspicious occasion of the festivals
*The entire work life can be divided into three core segments*
1) WR- work related, core work
2) HR - Staffs matter
3) PR about the work, news works
They have a triangular relationship
Many of us fail in one of these parameters for example some become more focussed only on work or some only on fake PR and some only PR and work.
HR is one of the most important component which a lot of people misses
This is your biggest power. How you handle your subordinates!
In one of the meetings I attended as a probationer , while on some election work in Ranchi I found very silly of a person scolding the other person and saying loudly
"You should know, who is the boss here"
I felt more stupid to hear that " Tum bhul gaye kya mai ek officer hu"
Why are we trying to force this on our subordinates! Don't they already know the balance of power and your position! Saying out explicitly means one is either insecured or unable to get the work done by the subordinates in a smooth manner. Then my realisation turned to reality!

This is when I thought a lot about it and have been trying to create a conscious balance amongst all these parameters
1) putting toffees every single day for all visitors as in our Indian culture everyone who comes to your home/ office is like God and they should never return empty handed!
2) CELEBRATING Birthdays of Office Staffs in Birthdays of Month day!
Staffs feel a sense of more attached to you and open up a bit which is important as one is to make sure they perform to their efficient levels
3) Employees of the Month : This one has been a real game changer and has seen positive competition
4) Celebrating festivals with office staff and their entire families : While we work for late nights & many a times all that matters to us is work, there is someone who has patiently waited for them during tough times at homes! Family member get together must be promoted in all offices and interesting games can be used to make it more fun filled
5) Picnic Outings of Staffs and improving the office space to make sure they look the best for all the staffs! After all one third of life we spend in offices
6) Workshops to improve their overall level like IT / Computer Training, RTI workshops, Criminal cases disposal workshops, 144,145 etc.
7) Shramdaan and improving the outer periphery of the office by the staffs together with offices. this is often followed by team lunch like da chaawal chokha papad
8) Teaching kids and meeting people - Our concept of Aap aur hum is based on these parameters
9) Collective efforts like Diwali saaf safai, diya purchase etc
10) Teaching - Always invest on youth if you want the place to grow
