🐋 Jump's $150B Hyperliquid Run: 8% of Perps, $7M in Fees, Zero Fucks

Jump Trading has quietly racked up nearly $150 billion in volume on Hyperliquid since December — that's 8% of every perpetual future traded on the exchange. But don't kid yourself: they're not here to gamble on HYPE pumps. This is an institutional arb operation, and they're using Hyperliquid as one leg of a multi-venue hedge machine.

▪️ Started Dec 12, 2025 — spent a week testing with $153M across BTC, SOL, HYPE before going live.
▪️ Now running one master + 16 subaccounts, each dedicated to specific assets: oil, gas, stocks, indices.
▪️ Almost entirely taker volume (maker only 11-35%) — classic arb behaviour, not directional trading.
▪️ Current book: long $32M Brent + $16M CL; short gold, silver, NVDA, DRAM, SK Hynix, XYZ100, megacaps.
▪️ Total notional $145M against $63.6M margin — that's 2.3x leverage, but the real profits live on other venues.
▪️ Paid $7M in fees, generated a few hundred thousand in PnL on Hyperliquid. The money is made elsewhere.

📊 Cumulative Volume: $150B
📊 Share of Hyperliquid Perps: 8% (18% in July)
📊 Share of xyz Markets: 19% (29% in July)
📊 Fees Paid: $7M

For you, the retail degenerate: Jump isn't 'trading' — they're farming spread differences between Hyperliquid and other exchanges. When you enter an xyz perpetual, you're likely on the other side of their hedge. Meanwhile, HYPE itself pumped to $89.6 on institutional ETF news — Bitwise, 21Shares, Grayscale all launching funds, and Trump's CFTC chair talking about bringing Hyperliquid to the US. That's the real narrative play. But Jump's $150B footprint? That's the quiet signal that Hyperliquid has become serious infrastructure — and you're the liquidity.

💬 «Jump's activity appears to be a hedging or arbitrage book paired with other venues to capture differences in spreads and funding rates.» — Hanson Birringer, Hyperdash co-founder

🔮 Jump pays $7M in fees, makes peanuts on Hyperliquid, but pockets the spread across CEXs and DEXs. Retail is the liquidity. Always has been.

🌅 Morning Meat: BTC Bleeds, LAPTOP Rugged, and Oil Says Fuck Your Portfolio

BTC slid to $78,351 (-0.95%), ETH barely holding at $2,477 — the boring chop is just the background noise. The real shit you need to watch: IOST pumping 16.5% on $59M volume, and a 22-year-old Singaporean just copped to stealing $245M in crypto via home invasions and online scams. Also, some meme coin rug that started as a $1.6B joke ended as a 98% burn.

▪️ IOST +16.5% on $59M volume — no obvious catalyst, just vibes and a fat pump, don't chase.
▪️ NEAR +7.6% with $116M volume — real money moving in, but check if it's just rotation out of losers.
▪️ MARSCOIN -21.4% on $46M — whoever bought this is at the bottom of the food chain rn.
▪️ UNI -11.8%: dex token bleeding, probably liquidity exiting into BTC or stablecoins.
▪️ LAPTOP token launched with a $1.6B peak then crashed 98% to under $4 — tokens given to market makers a week early, classic pre-dump script.
▪️ Osmosis paused after Nomic Chain exploit froze 22.65 BTC — cross-chain bridge bullshit strikes again.

📊 BTC: $78,351
📊 ETH: $2,477
📊 Fear & Greed: 69 (Greed)

Greed index at 69 — up from 66 yesterday, meaning retail is still leaning in, not spooked yet. But with oil surging past $100 on Iran strikes and BTC making a safe-haven bid to $79,700, the macro rug is loaded. Don't marry your bags — the LAPTOP story is your weekly reminder that insider pre-dumps are the house edge in this casino.

💬 «I'm deeply sorry for my actions and will dedicate the rest of my life to making amends.» — Malone Lam, 22, who pleaded guilty to stealing $245M in crypto

🔮 Oil at $100 + greed at 69 = the perfect setup for a textbook bull trap. Don't be the exit liquidity.

💬 «Nasdaq’s design puts issuers at the center instead, and it has been building a gateway with Kraken to move tokenized equities between regulated and on-chain venues.» — Decrypt,

💀 Liquid Network back after 4,000 BTC exploit — hacker keeps 600 BTC as 'bounty'

Liquid sidechain just woke up after a white-hat hacker pulled 4,000 BTC (~$320M) from its federation wallet. He returned 3,400 BTC but still pockets 600 BTC and is now demanding a 10% bounty on top. Blockstream CEO Adam Back says 'don't panic sell' and promises L-BTC peg is covered 1:1 — but transactions are still frozen, homie.

▪️ White-hat exploited Liquid's multisig federation wallet on Sunday, draining 4,000 BTC in one move.
▪️ Network halted all operations — no peg-ins, no peg-outs, no trades. Total blackout.
▪️ Hacker returned 3,400 BTC via onchain messages but demands 10% bounty (~400 BTC) for the rest.
▪️ If Blockstream doesn't pay, hacker threatens to keep the remaining ~600 BTC (already in his pocket).
▪️ Blockstream's security budget: $1.5M to secure $5B in assets. Hacker called it 'dereliction of duty'.
▪️ Blockstream says L-BTC/BTC peg will be covered 1:1, but peg-out ops stay suspended indefinitely.

📊 Total exploited: 4,000 BTC (~$320M)
📊 Returned: 3,400 BTC
📊 Hacker kept: ~600 BTC
📊 Security budget: $1.5M vs $5B assets

Right now L-BTC holders are stuck — no withdrawals to Bitcoin mainnet until peg-outs resume. Adam Back's promise to cover the peg is nice, but he didn't explain how the 600 BTC hole gets filled. You're trusting Blockstream's word and hoping the hacker doesn't dump the rest. Meanwhile, a $1.5M security budget for $5B in assets? That's not a bug bounty — that's a shakedown waiting to happen.

💬 «Your dereliction of duty is obvious.» — White-hat hacker, onchain message to Blockstream

🔮 White-hat with a 600 BTC ransom? That's not a bug bounty — that's extortion. And Blockstream walked right into it.

ZEC just mooned 150% — but the bears are already sharpening their knives 🐻

Zcash punched through $1,200 for the first time since 2016, fueled by Grayscale's shiny new ETF and a healthy dose of FOMO. But the same shit that wrecked ZEC by 64% last time just popped up again. The party might be about to get a visit from the cops.

▪️ ZEC hit $1,300 earlier this month, now sitting around $1,220 — that's a 150% monthly pump and a ludicrous 2,450% yearly (CoinGecko).
▪️ TD Sequential on the 3-day chart just flipped to a sell signal, says analyst Ali Martinez. Last time that happened, in May, ZEC dropped 64%.
▪️ RSI is redlining above 70 — textbook overbought territory. The last time ZEC was this hot, it got dumped.
▪️ Exchange netflow turned positive: people are moving their ZEC from cold wallets to exchange accounts. Translation: they're lining up to unload on you.
▪️ The whole move was sparked by Grayscale's ZEC ETF launch — classic 'buy the rumor, sell the news' setup.

📊 Monthly surge: 150%
📊 Yearly surge: 2,450%
📊 Peak this run: $1,300

If you're holding ZEC right now, you're gambling that the ETF narrative can override these screaming technicals. Whales are already cashing out — the exchange inflow tells you that. The smart money is taking profits while the marks chase the green candle. Watch $1,050: if that level breaks, the rug might get yanked hard.

💬 «The last time this setup appeared, on May 19, it resulted in a 64% price correction. Worth paying attention to this one.» — Ali Martinez

🔮 Grayscale's ETF is the story, but the chart says 'sell the news' has a better track record. Don't get caught holding the bag.

📉 Morning digest: BTC slips, 牛来 pumps, Liquid white-hat gives back 3,400 BTC

BTC down 1.63% at $77,112, ETH down 0.78% at $2,459 — red board, no panic. The big flex: Liquid's white-hat took ~4,000 BTC and returned 3,400 before the network resumed block production.

▪️ Gainers: 牛来 +46% ($77M volume), RAY +20.1%, MARSCOIN +8.7%, ETHFI +8.7%, UNI +1.3%.
▪️ Losers: SAHARA -12.4%, ZEC -11.9% on $352M, BCH -9.1%, TAO -7.5%, PUMP -6.9%.
▪️ ZEC's still up 150% this month above $1,200 after the Grayscale ETF hype — today's drop is the pullback that signals warned about.
▪️ Nasdaq puts $100M into Kraken's parent Payward at $21B valuation (last estimate: $13.3B). Tokenized voting stocks are the hook.
▪️ Liquid blocks are rolling again, but transactions stay frozen until stability checks pass — don't be the guy who sends funds there right now.

Fear & Greed slid from 69 to 56 — still greedy, but the room is cooling. ZEC's 150% run is turning into exit liquidity, and Liquid's frozen withdrawals are a reminder: sidechains are not a bank. Watch rotations into 牛来 and friends — don't ape in blind.

🔮 Liquid returns 3,400 BTC and calls it a white-hat — meanwhile your funds are still locked. Nice.

🔥 $250M shorts nuked in an hour – BTC & ETH go berserk on CPI

US CPI drops, BTC instantly screams 'fakeout' and rips to $79k. ETH? Up 8% to $2,660. The result: over $250M in short positions turned to dust in the span of an hour. Classic move – shake the weak, then blast the moon.

▪️ First act: CPI matched forecasts, but BTC sold off to $76k – perfect trap for bears.
▪️ Second act: BTC reverses hard, climbs from $76k to $79k in minutes. ETH follows with a 5% hourly bomb.
▪️ Final act: $250M+ in shorts liquidated. If you were short ETH under $2,500, you got rekt.
▪️ ETH hit its highest since late January – $2,660. Bearish narrative? Dead for now.

📊 Total shorts liquidated: $250M+
📊 BTC peak: ~$79k
📊 ETH high: $2,660

This is textbook liquidity grab: they shake out the longs with a false dip, then reverse hard to hit the stop losses of those who shorted the dip. Next stop? $80k BTC if momentum holds. But don't chase – these moves often get retraced just as fast. Keep your stop tight or get used to eating ramen.

🔮 Either this is the start of a real rally or just another juicy trap to liquidate the next batch of fomo buyers.

@hivenetwork
🔥 BTC wicks to $80K on CPI, $732M liquidated in the grinder

Bitcoin spiked to $79,837 Friday right after the BLS printed August CPI in line with forecasts — and the whole crypto market still paid $732 million in liquidations for the privilege. Shorts ate $424M of that. By 12:07 p.m. EST BTC was back at $77,800, up 1% on the day, market cap near $1.57 trillion: the price barely moved and half the book got deleted.

▪️ Less than 24h before the spike, hotter-than-expected PPI dragged BTC from just over $78,000 to a one-week low of $76,651.
▪️ 8:30 a.m. EST: flash crash to $76,040, then the same ride back to $78,000. That whipsaw is what cleared both sides of the book.
▪️ Midmorning rally past $79,800, consolidation above $78,500, then another sell wave to $77,300. Total liquidations: $732M, with $424M wiped off shorts.
▪️ CPI matched projections, yet prediction markets instantly pushed Fed odds of a 25bp hike to 82%. Schiff: odds of a second hike in December now 74.2%.
▪️ Ray Dalio: long-term rates are climbing into stagflation, and BTC still trades like high-beta tech, not digital gold — rising yields hit it like stocks.
▪️ Meanwhile BTC held $77,650-$78,000 while Trump floated $5,000 dividend checks to American adults. Apparently free-money talk isn't a bid anymore.

📊 Total liquidations: $732M
📊 Shorts wiped: $424M
📊 Intraday spike: $79,837
📊 Flash-crash low: $76,040

Nothing broke here — that's the point. An in-line CPI print, no bad news, and leverage on both sides still got harvested between $76,040 and $79,837. If the Fed does hike and liquidity tightens, this exact setup repeats with bigger candles: macro desks sell liquid assets to cover margin, and your stop is their exit liquidity. Watch $76K — it got tested four times in one session, and the next break through it cascades.

💬 «This should all but ensure a hike. If so, the odds of a second hike in Dec have risen to 74.2%. This knee-jerk rally in markets likely won't last, especially since the rate hikes won't be enough to lower inflation.» — Peter Schiff

🔮 In-line CPI, no news, and you still get liquidated on both sides. The house doesn't need a reason — just your stops.

@hivenetwork
🩸 $732M liquidated on CPI — and BTC is back at $77K

BTC is at $77,182 (+0.14%) and ETH at $2,512 (+2.16%), which means the CPI pump is fully round-tripped and that $79,837 candle is already a museum piece. Yesterday was a two-sided massacre: shorts first, then the longs who chased the green.

▪️ ZEC +4.4% on $436M volume is the only mover with real size — a privacy bid, the rest is noise. HOLO +3.8% ($103M), BNB +2.5% ($125M).
▪️ ETH +2.2% on $1.55B — majors are holding the CPI bid. The small caps are not.
▪️ Losers are all thin books: RAY -5.6% ($30M), MARSCOIN -5.1% ($34M), PUMP -5.1% ($32M), NEAR -4.7% ($100M), ARB -4.3% ($23M).
▪️ On the CPI print BTC tagged $79,837 and ETH ran 8% to $2,660 — $250M of shorts liquidated in an hour. Then the fade took $130M of longs in an hour.
▪️ ETF money keeps leaving: $449M net outflows over three days, ARK 21Shares alone ate $164M of Thursday's redemptions. ETH and SOL funds bled too.

Fear & Greed is 63, up from 56 — retail is getting greedy at the exact moment ETF money walks out the door. Thin alt books mean one more leverage flush and today's -5% names print -20%. That CPI pump was a liquidity grab, not a trend.

🔮 Greed 63 while $449M leaves the ETFs. Somebody's exit liquidity — and it ain't the funds.

🐋 The whale who topped ETH just dumped $85M into Bitcoin

The wallet that nailed the ETH top — 50,600 coins out the door at an average $2,921 back in late 2025 — sat in stablecoins for eight months doing absolutely nothing. Then it started eating Bitcoin. Four days of buying later, $85.42 million in USDC is now 1,075.6 BTC at an average of $79,412 a coin.

▪️ Late 2025: 50,600 ETH offloaded at an average $2,921 — an exit worth close to $147.8 million.
▪️ Then radio silence for eight months. No altcoin rotation, no chasing the August rally, no redeploy while ETH recovered. That's what made trackers flag it the second it moved.
▪️ First buy: 14 million USDC flipped into 179.8 BTC around $78,955, all inside one day.
▪️ The next 24 hours added another 60.37 million USDC, taking the stack to 767.8 BTC.
▪️ The full run: 85.42 million USDC in, 1,075.6 BTC out, spread over four days.
▪️ Routed through Thorchain, not an exchange desk — roughly $170,000 in swap fees buys visible onchain flow with zero custody checks or identity games on an $85 million move.

📊 Dry powder still parked: $74.32M
📊 Realized on the ETH exit: $19.02M
📊 Below its own entry, per coin: $2,185

BTC is changing hands near $77,200, so this genius is under water on the whole Bitcoin leg — and the Fed meets Sept. 15-16 with traders pricing a real chance of a hike, the exact thing that's capped every $80,000 push this month. If he averages down into that, the conviction is real; if the remaining stable stack stays parked, this was a routine rotation dressed up as a signal. Meanwhile a Hyperliquid trader with a 92.5% win rate is long 911.55 BTC at 40x — same direction, way worse plan.

🔮 Everyone's crowning him for the ETH top. He's red on the BTC entry and hasn't proven a thing yet.

@hivenetwork
😴 Dead tape hides an LSK pump nobody sane should chase

🚨 Feds freeze $938M in scam crypto after Xinbi Guarantee bust

The US Scam Center Strike Force just restrained another $52 million in scam-linked crypto in a single day, pushing its total to roughly $938 million. The target was Xinbi Guarantee, a Telegram-based marketplace that Treasury says processed over $24 billion and was used by North Korean hackers.

▪️ Xinbi ran an escrow service on Telegram: it held buyers' payments until vendors delivered their dirty work. That included custom investment scam websites and laundering services.
▪️ Investigators traced US victims' funds to vendors advertising on Xinbi's Telegram channels. A federal court authorized seizure of those channels on Sept. 7.
▪️ Authorities seized two payment wallets holding about $12 million and sought restraint of 47 more wallets tied to laundering on Xinbi's network.
▪️ Treasury's OFAC sanctioned Xinbi Guarantee plus Singapore-based Safew Technology and Cambodia-based Anwen Technology on Sept. 9 for providing messaging and payment apps.
▪️ Xinbi started moving merchants to an encrypted app around June 2025 and launched its own crypto wallet via Anwen — right as enforcement heat ramped up.
▪️ Separately, US investigators deployed to Madagascar for two weeks, helping local cops target 13 Chinese-run scam compounds, process 3,200+ devices and interview nearly 400 arrestees.

📊 Total frozen by strike force: $938M
📊 Restrained in one day: $52M
📊 Xinbi transactions since ~2022: $24B+
📊 Wallets seized directly: $12M

This is the biggest crackdown on Telegram-based guarantee markets yet — and it's not slowing down. If you're holding anything that touched Xinbi's ecosystem or similar escrow platforms, you're in the blast radius. The strike force is methodically tracing victim funds and freezing wallets, so any dirty flow through these channels is now a liability. Expect more seizures as Chainalysis keeps mapping the $16.1B network that excludes Xinbi and Huione.

💬 «Approximately $52 million of cryptocurrency involved in scam money laundering was restrained in one day, bringing the total restrained by the Scam Center Strike Force to approximately $938 million.» — US Department of Justice

🔮 They seized the Telegram channels but Xinbi already moved to an encrypted app in June — how much is left to freeze?

🔓 Symbiosis's BTC bridge got tricked into printing billions in fake syBTC

Symbiosis's bitcoin bridge just handed some guy billions of unbacked syBTC, and he walked away with $336,000 in real WBTC. Not billions — $336k. Blockaid caught the mint onchain at 04:28 UTC on Sep 11, 2026; Symbiosis froze BTC routes and dangled a 20% white-hat bounty until Sep 13.

▪️ How it worked: a signed BridgeV2 receive call minted ~2^62 raw syBTC (8 decimals) to a fresh EOA — no collateral, the bridge just trusted the signature.
▪️ The exit was a joke: the same wallet dumped ~4.39 WBTC on Ethereum's Uniswap V4. Nobody wanted the rest of the fake supply at any price.
▪️ Symbiosis confirmed it: BTC routes halted, other routes still live, funds clawed back into a team-controlled multisig.
▪️ White-hat offer: 20% of the funds to the attacker, open until Sep 13, 2026. After that, the same 20% goes to whoever doxes him.
▪️ Third time in weeks: Blockstream's Liquid Network lost nearly 4,000 BTC to unbacked assets — crew returned 3,400, kept ~598.5. Nomic's nBTC hole sat for months.
▪️ As of Sunday morning, Sep 13: no post-mortem on where BridgeV2 failed, no final loss figure, no word on whether the attacker took the deal.

📊 Fake syBTC minted: ~46.1B face value
📊 Real WBTC cashed out: ~$336,000
📊 Recovered to team multisig: ~15 BTC
📊 White-hat bounty: 20%

Three bitcoin wrappers in a matter of weeks printing coins that don't exist, same playbook every time: the bridge trusts a signature, the attacker mints, and whoever holds the wrapped token eats the risk. Symbiosis still hasn't said where BridgeV2 failed, still hasn't published a final loss figure, and BTC routes are halted — if you're parked in syBTC or anything routed through that bridge, you're holding a question mark, not a bitcoin. And look at the going rate for a bridge bug: Liquid's crew returned 3,400 BTC, kept ~598.5, and Symbiosis is offering 20% to the same kind of guy. Cheaper to pay the thief than to fix the code, apparently.

💬 «Community alert. Signed BridgeV2 receive minted ~2^62 raw syBTC (8 decimals; face value ~46.1B) to a fresh EOA; same beneficiary dumped ~4.39 WBTC on Ethereum Uni V4. ~$336k realized WBTC proceeds so far.» — Blockaid

🔮 Mint 46 billion, cash out $336k. The bridge never checked the coins existed — and neither did anyone else.

☕️ Bridge hacker prints fake BTC while everyone watches REZ pump

Flat tape overnight: BTC parked at $77,612 (+0.48%), ETH dripped to $2,512 (-0.37%). Meanwhile Symbiosis’s bitcoin bridge got milked by an attacker minting billions in unbacked syBTC across several transactions.

▪️ REZ ripped +29.8% on just $43M volume and CVC added +23.5% on $23M — thin-book pumps where you're either early or somebody else's exit liquidity.
▪️ FIL gained +17.8% on $51M turnover; NEAR (+1.9%) и XRP (+0 .8%,$110M) просто дышат.
▪️ LSK dropped -15% on heavy turnover

🐋 Bitmine's ETH bag is now $14.89 billion — and it's still buying every single week

Bitmine Immersion Technologies bought another 27,180 ETH last week, dragging Tom Lee's pile up to 5,956,378 coins — roughly 4.9% of every Ethereum in existence. Target on the wall is 5% of supply, and there's one buyer doing this every seven days whether you like it or not.

▪️ The cadence is the story: they've bought ETH every single week since the treasury strategy kicked off on June 30, 2025. No pauses, no 'taking profits', just a drip feed into the book.
▪️ About 85% of the stack — 5.07 million ETH — sits in staking, projected to earn $334 million a year. Lee says it hits $392 million if the whole lot goes through MAVAN and its partners.
▪️ Whole book is valued at $15.8 billion and ETH is only one slice of it — the rest is in the breakdown below.
▪️ Rival SharpLink lined up $200 million of staking through Lido back in August. Strategy went the other way: zero Bitcoin bought in the week to September 13, and $139 million spent buying back…

📊 Bitcoin held: 212 BTC
📊 Cash and securities: $549M
📊 Beast Industries stake: $180M
📊 Eightco Holdings stake: $98M

This is the actual bid under ETH right now — a chairman who buys every Monday morning regardless of price. You're long the same asset as a guy who has to keep buying to keep the story alive, and 5.07 million of his coins are staked, meaning they can't be dumped instantly even if he wanted out. He's at 4.9% of supply, so the 5% goal is basically done. The tell is not the price target — it's the first week the buys stop.

💬 «As we enter the final month of calendar Q3 2026, ETH is the best-performing macro asset during the quarter, outperforming the S&P 500 by 5,866bp through last Friday.» — Tom Lee, Bitmine Chairman

🔮 Buying every week isn't conviction, it's a treadmill. The day Tom Lee stops, the bid under ETH just vanishes.

📉 BTC flat, LSK -55%, Kraken force-liquidates UAE accounts

BTC is stuck at $77,599, down 0.01% and going nowhere; ETH sits at $2,490, off 0.91%. Volume is anemic across the board — the only real action this morning is in the coins getting taken to the woodshed.

▪️ Gainers: XLM +5.6% on $34M, UNI +4.1% on $46M, XRP +2.3% on $336M, ZEC +2.4% on $255M — thin green, no size behind it.
▪️ Losers: LSK -55.4% on $56M is the one worth watching, FIL -7.6%, 牛来 -7.5%, ADA -1.1%, DOGE -1.0% bled out behind it.
▪️ Kraken kills UAE withdrawals for Monero, Zcash, Dash, USDD, Dai, USDS, Ethena USD holders at 14:00 UTC Sept 14; balances force-liquidated Sept 15-25, 2026.
▪️ Abraxas Capital is holding $980M in Hyperliquid shorts — the biggest bearish whale bet on the board right now.
▪️ Bitmine bought another $68M of ETH; holdings near 6M ETH, most of it staked, chasing 5% of Ethereum's supply.
▪️ Trump's $800M World Liberty Financial stake got moved into a vesting contract — 10% mandatory burn, no sales until 2028.

Fear & Greed printed 69 (Greed), up from 57 yesterday — the crowd got braver while BTC did absolutely nothing. Greed at 69 on this kind of volume is exactly how liquidation cascades get built: everyone leaning long, nobody with size to catch the drop. Watch LSK for what a thin book does when somebody leaves, and watch Kraken's UAE window close — the payout currency isn't even guaranteed.

🔮 Kraken won't guarantee which coin UAE clients get back after the forced liquidation. That's not a sell-off, that's a lucky dip.

Balancer, the AMM that got gutted for $128 million in November 2025, is now asking its own holders for permission to die. CEO Marcus Hardt posted a wind-down proposal on the protocol's governance forum: the treasury — over $9 million — goes back to BAL holders pro-rata, and the whole thing starts switching itself off next month. The product worked. The business didn't.

▪️ The hack hit composable stable pools on legacy v2. v3 was a different architecture, but the name followed it into every sales conversation since, Hardt admits.
▪️ DefiLlama numbers: $1.13M in protocol revenue in October 2025, $371K in November after the exploit, $56,781 by August 2026. Straight down.
▪️ Balancer Labs already shut down in March; the leaner structure cut costs and shipped the promised products, but v3 revenue never grew to replace v2.
▪️ Shutdown mechanics: new business development stops, pausable pools go withdrawal-only, unpausable pools keep running with the protocol fee set to zero where contracts allow.
▪️ LPs have until Oct. 30 to get out; from Nov. 1 only withdrawal infrastructure runs and the DAO is dissolved, with up to $400,000 set aside for the transition.
▪️ BAL holders burn their tokens for a pro-rata slice of what's left: first distribution May 2027, then unspent and unclaimed funds, then a final sweep six months later.

📊 Snapshot vote: Sept. 25-29
📊 LP exit deadline: Oct. 30
📊 Withdrawal-only mode: Nov. 1
📊 First treasury payout: May 2027

For BAL holders this is a referendum on Sept. 25-29: vote it down and the current framework stays, the treasury keeps bleeding on a path already tried, and you land in the same spot with less money. Hardt's pitch is basically 'take the refund while it's still a refund.' And the lesson for everyone else is brutal: a hack doesn't need to touch your new code to kill your new product. It just needs to own your name.

💬 «What did not come was enough revenue. Most of the protocol's revenue still comes from v2, and v3 revenue has not grown to replace it. The product worked. It did not sell enough.» — Marcus Hardt, Balancer Labs CEO

🔮 $9M treasury, first check in May 2027, a burn to claim it. Anyone who's held a governance token through a wind-down knows how that calendar usually ends.

🐋 Two dead-quiet Ether whales dump everything onto OKX at a fat loss

Two Ethereum wallets that hadn't moved anything in over half-a-year-plus-more-than-a-year suddenly emptied themselves straight onto an exchange together totaling approximately thirty-six point nine four million dollars combined hitting within eighty-five minutes apart consecutively sequentially successively continuously uninterruptedly ceaseless

▪️ RSI Dogecoin

💬 «Large holders continue buying the dip, suggesting confidence may be building ahead of the next potential rebound.» — Ali Martinez

🔻 $570M in longs wiped, ETFs dump $450M — morning digest

Roughly $570 million of bullish futures got liquidated in 24 hours and US spot bitcoin ETFs bled $450 million — their worst day since June — after the Senate killed the Clarity Act on a 49-50 procedural vote. BTC is down 2.01%, ETH down 3.33%, and every major token is red.

▪️ Gainers: LSK +33.8% on $41M volume, ARB +13.8% on $56M. Nothing in our feed explains it — thin books, that's a squeeze, not a trend.
▪️ Losers: XRP -7.5% on $426M turnover, XLM -7.9%, TAO -6.3%, REZ -5.3%. That much volume under XRP means real exits, not a wick.
▪️ The Clarity Act died 49-50 in the Senate — that's the trigger under the whole tape; Fidelity and BlackRock funds led the ETF exit.
▪️ Two wallets silent for over a year moved 14,700 ETH ($36.94M) into OKX on Sept. 14 — those coins cost nearly $57M in 2021, so the whale is selling at a loss (Lookonchain).
▪️ Suspected Robinhood engineers got flagged for insider trading on Hyperliquid — perps are a playground, and the calls for regulation are already landing.
▪️ Whales bought 240M DOGE (~$20M) in a week while it dropped 9% to $0.08; they now hold nearly 19B DOGE, 12% of circulating supply.

📊 BTC: $75,864.01
📊 ETH: $2,402.23
📊 Fear & Greed: 51 (Neutral)

Your PnL today was decided by a Senate vote, not by your setup — ETF money is walking and nobody is coming to bail the bid. The OKX seller and the DOGE whales are repositioning quietly while retail eats the liquidations. Fear & Greed slid from 69 to Neutral overnight — that's not capitulation, that's a crowd still holding, which makes the next flush cheap to trigger.

🔮 The whale sold at a loss, the DOGE whales bought the dip. One of them is early, the other is exit liquidity — guess which one you are.
