We are deeply saddened to confirm that a 93 year old man who had multiple underlying medical conditions and had been bed ridden for 10 years has passed away this morning (1/3)

He was administered the Covishield vaccine on 17th February.

As per protocol, a full investigation is being carried out to confirm the cause of death and details will be shared once completed (2/3)

It is important to note that serious events including death can occur unrelated to the vaccine.
