Russia Stops Exports of Gasoline as Energy Crisis Accelerates

Russia — who was responsible for 11% of global gasoline exports prior to sanctions — has just stopped their exports through at least July 31st.

The biggest impacted importers are African countries (Nigeria, Libya, Ghana), Brazil, and Turkey.

Israel has just hit Iran's 3 largest STEEL factories at Mobarakeh, Esfahan, and Khuzestan (among other infrastructure).

Iran has vowed in response to target steel production in other countries.

For those of you keeping track at home — yes, this too, was in the #AbsoluteZero decarbonization plan: phasing out of new steel (and cement).

They're really not hiding it at all...

Iran Steel Struck as Record Ethanol Mandates Push Food Prices Higher

The Trump administration just finalized record-high biofuel mandates for 2026–2027, pushing even more U.S. farmland toward fuel instead of food.

This comes as Israel struck three of Iran’s largest steel production facilities (accounting for roughly 60% of the country’s steel output), moves that align with long-standing Absolute Zero decarbonization timelines.

Meanwhile, Russia is halting gasoline exports, Vietnam is accelerating its switch to E10 ethanol, and global food prices are projected to rise 12–18% by the end of 2026--even if the Hormuz crisis ended tomorrow.

Input costs are exploding everywhere: fertilizer, fuel, and freight are making traditional farming economically unviable in multiple countries.

A raw look at how converging shocks are accelerating the technocratic and decarbonization agenda.

Plastics Crisis: 22% of global plastics supply affected by Strait of Hormuz

Prices have already risen 15% and companies inside supply chains are buying up as much product as they can.

“The uses of petrochemicals are wide-ranging and, essentially, impact everything we use and consume. It would be hard to identify something that didn’t have an oil or natural gas-based component unless it was constructed entirely of wood.”

Egypt's 9pm Energy Curfew as Rice Prices Double & Dutch Fishing Halted [VIDEO]

Egypt has imposed a 9PM energy curfew, forcing businesses, malls, and restaurants to shut down early “to save energy.”

At the same time, rice prices have doubled in the Philippines, the Dutch fishing fleet has largely stopped sailing due to diesel costs, plastics production is facing major disruptions from the Hormuz crisis, and farmers in Australia are running out of fuel during harvest.

From energy lockdowns to grounded fleets and surging food prices, the energy crisis is rapidly turning into a food crisis--while accelerating the broader technocratic agenda.

Half of Dutch fleet idle as European fishing hit by high diesel prices

"The fishing industry is emerging as an early European casualty of soaring diesel costs amid the Iran ‌war, with at least half the Dutch fleet staying in port this week."

"Fish will disappear from the menu."

— as indeed has been the plan of the technocrats to eliminate traditional farming, ranching, fishing and take total control of food.

EU Tells Citizens: Travel Less - Energy Crisis Now Unstoppable [VIDEO]

The EU has just told citizens to "travel less" as it prepares for prolonged energy shortages from the Strait of Hormuz closure.

JP Morgan’s timeline shows the final pre-closure oil shipments in the coming days.

Dutch gas storage is already at a historic low of 5.8%, EU fishing fleets are tying up because diesel is too expensive, and critical supply chains (fertilizer, chicken feed, plastics, pharmaceuticals) are breaking. This is no longer a price spike--it’s a tsunami of crises. What we’re seeing now was predictable, and the scripted "solutions” being rolled out were planned long ago by the technocrats.

Grow your own food and build local resilience while you still can.

Who is redirecting Europe's energy?

I reported last week that European ports were not allowing oil/fuel to be unloaded from tankers. Now the diesel scheduled to arrive is being redirected. Who is cutting Europe off to engineer an energy crisis?

Australia has only 33.1 days of jet fuel remaining officially (6d of which hasn't arrived in port yet).

Cancelling flights can only stretch that out so much.

IAE head: fuel shortages expected in Europe

“This crisis is worse than the two oil crises of the 1970s and the loss of Russian gas in 2022 put together,” Birol said.

“More than 12 million barrels per day of oil supply has been lost so far due to the Middle East crisis. The biggest problem is the lack of jet fuel and diesel, already affecting Asia and expected to reach Europe in April–May,” he noted.

"You will see a massive decline in yield and acres"

Rising costs and fertilizer shortages are already reshaping planting decisions for US farmers, says one record-holding farmer growing corn and soybeans, along with barley, oats, triticale, and wheat on 650-acres in Hickory, North Carolina.

“I think you will see a massive decline in both yield and acres,” he predicted. “Some farmers are abandoning leases, some are switching crops and others are just using fewer inputs. I think [February's] yield numbers are a pipe dream at this point with even tillage being reduced with fuel prices.

“This is really going to be an exciting year to see if the USDA takes these things into consideration in future report numbers or if they keep them inflated. [IAF: Expect the USDA to mostly keep yields inflated until post-harvest downward revisions—much like gov does with GDP & employment numbers]

For fertilizer, he said, the price impact “has been immediate and severe. For many growers, fertilizer represented 40% of operating costs in 2025 and price increases in this critical input directly affect planting decisions, long-term viability, and the livelihoods of farm families.”

Quercus Bio, a new startup AgTech company whose co-founders have previous funding connections with BlackRock and Google Ventures, is using AI to create "designer mini-proteins" which enter "target plants" and kill them.

They expect to replace glyphosate and other herbicides, as weeds have become increasingly resilient -- and, as they note, face too much regulatory scrutiny and consumer acceptance problems.

Rather than move to regenerative approaches and permaculture polycultures, they seek to 'fail forward' with even an more mad scientist approach on the "resistance treadmill." And as a bonus, they can do so without any regulation or oversight (as with the GMO microbes that are deploying now to replace fertilizer).

Sony announced that it's suspending fulfillment of all orders for nearly its entire SD and CF express memory card product lines "due to the global shortage of semiconductors (memory) and other factors."

This is not random. This comes on the back of consumer memory manufacturers announcing they will shift production to big expensive chips for GPUs — in other words, the big data centers.

What is happening is a shift at the semiconductor production level away from powerful consumer devices (laptops/desktop/cameras), towards cloud-only devices.

Soon there will only be "thin" devices that interact with cloud services that, like Sam Altman openly described, will be metered like utilities — because there won't even be components available for consumer devices.

This pushes your data—your documents, photos, videos—into the hands of the technocrats, where it is surveilled, shared with intelligence agencies, and used to train their AI models — and ensures no one will be able to run powerful AI models locally.

They want to centralize and control everything.

This is how you are losing your #RightToCompute. Silently. Gradually. And Relentlessly.

Build local.

Engineered Energy & Food Crisis? Interview on RCR Media with Paul Brennan [VIDEO]

Yesterday I joined Paul Brennan on RCR Media to discuss how the current energy crisis is rapidly turning into a food crisis, the scripted nature of these events, and most importantly, how we can respond with local resilience and human creativity instead of fear or dependence.

Originally aired April 3, 2026 here: https://rcr.media/episodes/christian-westbrook-independent-journalist-engineered-energy-food-crisis/

Food Crisis' Silver Lining: End Meat - Oxford Prof Admits [VIDEO]

In a recent New Scientist interview titled “The Global Food System Is Breaking - Here's Why,” Oxford professor Paul Behrens called the crisis a needed "global disaster" and the "silver lining" that will finally push through long-planned dietary shifts (like only eating beef every two weeks) and break farming's link to fossil fuels.

From the horse’s mouth: they openly say the coming hardship is "the push they've been waiting for," with "dietary changes" labeled as "the biggest lever."

Watch as the conversation quickly shifts from real problems to using this crisis as leverage for technocratic control over what ends up on your plate.
