🏡 “Invisible Wellness” – The New Interior Design Trend of 2026

Why do some interiors not only look beautiful but also create a cozy atmosphere, while others quickly become irritating? It’s all about the subtle details we don’t always notice at first glance.
“Invisible Wellness” is an approach to interior design that prioritizes comfort, functionality, and quality of everyday life. Here, aesthetics matter, but so does how convenient and enjoyable it is to use the space daily.

💡 How can you bring this trend into your home?

1. Choose furniture not just with your eyes. A beautiful sofa should also be comfortable, chairs should be the right height, and furniture placement should allow enough room for easy movement.

2. Plan your lighting carefully. Bright light is essential for working and cooking, task lighting is perfect for reading, and soft evening lighting helps you unwind after a busy day.

3. Organize smart storage solutions. Keep keys near the entrance, a throw blanket next to the sofa, and work supplies close to your desk. When everything has its designated place, maintaining order becomes much easier.

4. Pay attention to materials. Texture, practicality, ease of maintenance, and tactile sensations are just as important as appearance. Materials should align with your lifestyle.

5. Don’t forget about acoustics. Rugs, curtains, and upholstered furniture can reduce echo and make a room feel cozier. Even small changes can significantly impact how you perceive a space.

6. Leave some empty space. You don’t need to fill every corner with furniture and décor. Clear pathways, uncluttered surfaces, and thoughtful layouts make an interior feel visually lighter and more functional.

Where to start❓

You don’t need to renovate or buy new furniture. Try moving a lamp, clearing a walkway, rethinking your storage system, or removing one unnecessary item. Notice how these small adjustments change the way you feel in your space.
The core idea behind this trend is that interiors should adapt to people, supporting them as they rest, work, and enjoy everyday life. True wellness isn’t always immediately visible, but it’s easily felt.

👗 Frequently Asked Questions About Studying Fashion Design at Italian Fashion School

We’ve compiled the most common questions from those interested in trying their hand at fashion design.

✨ Do I need to know how to draw or sew?
No. The course is designed for beginners. You’ll gradually learn how a collection is created: how to develop an idea, create a moodboard, work with color, fabrics, silhouettes, fashion sketches, and technical drawings.

✨ When will I get access to the lessons?
Access to video lessons opens immediately after payment. Mentor support and homework review begin with the next available cohort.

✨ What will be the outcome of the course?
The main result is your own fashion collection project consisting of 12 pieces. It includes a moodboard, color palette, fashion sketches, technical drawings, fabric selection, collection presentation, as well as ideas for packaging, runway show, and photoshoot.

✨ Is it possible to study fashion design online?
Yes. The training is not limited to theory: you watch video lessons, complete practical assignments, receive feedback from your mentor, and gradually build your own collection. By the end of the course, you’ll have a portfolio, a clear understanding of the designer’s workflow, and materials that can help you launch your brand or find a job.

✨ Does the course teach sewing and garment construction?
The primary focus of this course is fashion design itself: developing concepts and ideas for collections, creating fashion and technical sketches, selecting fabrics, and preparing presentations and portfolios. If you’d also like to learn sewing and garment construction techniques, the school offers a separate program called “Tailor.”

✨ Can I launch my own clothing brand after completing the course?
Yes. During the course, you’ll explore not only designing individual garments but also developing your collection concept, identifying your target audience, defining style and product range, and creating visual presentation strategies — everything you need as a foundation for launching your own fashion brand.

✨ Will the course help me prepare for a job search as a fashion designer?
Yes. Throughout the program, you’ll create a portfolio featuring your completed collection, which you can use when applying for jobs and attending interviews.

✨ Who checks homework assignments?
Each student has a personal mentor—a practicing fashion designer—who reviews assignments, provides comments, and helps refine your collection project.

✨ At what age can I start studying fashion design?
For adults, we offer professional fashion design programs. For teenagers aged 12 and older, there is a separate course called “Young Fashion Designer.” This course is ideal for those already interested in fashion, who enjoy designing clothes, sketching looks, and want to try their hand at the fashion designer profession.

Our Student’s Work: Fashion Design Course — Maxim Grek

As part of the training, our student developed a fashion design project, working on the concept of a clothing collection and carefully considering its silhouettes, colors, fabrics, and overall aesthetic.

Creating a clothing collection requires more than simply following fashion trends. It involves developing a creative concept, understanding the target audience, selecting suitable materials, and combining design elements to create cohesive and distinctive looks. A fashion designer must balance creativity with functionality, transforming initial ideas into garments that reflect a clear vision and individual style.

Through practical assignments like this, our students learn to tackle real-world challenges faced by fashion designers: researching trends, developing concepts, creating sketches, selecting fabrics and colors, and designing clothing that combines originality with wearability.

Throughout the course, our students gradually build their own professional portfolios, featuring practical projects that demonstrate their creativity, design skills, and understanding of the fashion industry. These projects can become an important part of their portfolios when presenting their work to potential clients or employers.

If you would also like to learn how to develop your own clothing designs, create fashion collections, and turn creative ideas into professional projects, start your journey with our Fashion Design Course.

TOP 5 SKIRTS OF FALL 2026: WHAT TO WEAR AND WHO IT SUITS 🍂

This fall, the skirt is the main star of the wardrobe. Let us break down 5 key styles.

1️⃣ Black pencil skirt (knee-length)

Perfect for those who want to accentuate their figure.
Tip: If you have wider hips, opt for a straight cut in a dense fabric paired with a blazer featuring defined shoulders.

💡 Lifehack: Black skirt + black tights + black shoes = visually longer legs.

2️⃣ Skirt with a print or embellishment

A statement piece, much like Prada. It requires a simple top.
Tip: A large pattern will add volume to narrower hips. For wider hips, choose smooth fabric without unnecessary details.

💡 Lifehack: Pick a sweater in the shade of the most subtle color from the skirt's print. This will tie the look together better than black.

3️⃣ High waist

A trend from Miu Miu. It elongates the legs and highlights the waist.
Tip: The waistband must be visible! Tuck in a lightweight top or wear a cropped cardigan. Avoid wearing thick sweaters untucked.

💡 Lifehack: Monochrome (top and bottom in the same color) + a cropped jacket will create a cohesive and slimming silhouette.

4️⃣ Maxi skirt

Wool, knit, or satin. Floor-length remains highly relevant.
Tip: For petite women, choose a straight cut without gathers. For taller women, feel free to experiment with volume and pleats.

💡 Lifehack: Pair flowing fabric with a cropped leather jacket. The contrast of textures looks expensive and stylish.

5️⃣ Lace

Autumn romance (inspiration: Saint Laurent). Choose lined styles.

Tip: To avoid visually shortening your legs, choose a lining that matches the lace. Avoid contrasting trims at the widest part of the calves.

💡 Lifehack: Lace skirt + simple wool sweater + tall boots

Leggings aren’t just for the gym. They’re about style!✨

Autumn 2026 has finally debunked the myth that leggings are only appropriate for fitness centers. Stylists now treat them as an alternative to slim-fit trousers: elegant, comfortable, and very on-trend.
The main rule of the season: remove the "fitness" vibe from your look. Swap hoodies for blazers, sneakers for ballet flats, and backpacks for structured handbags.

Save these 6 formulas for perfect autumn looks with leggings 👇

1️⃣ Monochrome Elegance

Black leggings + black turtleneck + long straight coat.
Shoes: Ballet flats or loafers.
Why it works: The leggings blend into the outfit, becoming part of the silhouette rather than a sporty element.

2️⃣ Urban Smart Casual

White T-shirt + oversized men’s cut blazer + black leggings.
Accessory: Structured handbag.
The trick: The blazer adds structure and changes the mood of the entire outfit.

3️⃣ Relaxed Chic
Gray/white T-shirt + voluminous leather jacket (or bomber) + leggings.
Accessory: Large leather shopper bag instead of a backpack.
Vibe: Confident street style with no hint of workout gear.

4️⃣ Trend of the Season: Stirrup Leggings

Leggings with a strap under the foot (hello, 80s and ballet!) visually elongate the leg to infinity.
Top: Structured blazer + top.
Shoes: Pointed-toe shoes or closed pumps.

5️⃣ Volume Contrast: Barn Jacket

Cropped "barn jacket" + gray sweater + leggings.
Secret: The loose top perfectly balances the tight bottom. Complete the look with ballet flats and a leather bag.

6️⃣ Preppy Style (University Chic)

Long men’s cut shirt or striped rugby shirt + leggings.
Shoes: Mary Jane flats or classic loafers.
Mood: Comfortable, intelligent, and very cozy.

Stylist Hack:

To make leggings look expensive, replace at least two sporty items in your outfit with classic ones. For example: sneakers ➡️ heels, hoodie ➡️ trench coat.

How to Become a Fashion Designer: Where to Start Your Journey 🧵

If you feel a pull toward fashion design but are unsure how to begin, know that this desire itself is a sign of potential. Perhaps you already find yourself analyzing seasonal trends, styling friends and family, or creating looks for your loved ones. These instincts matter. Many successful designers began without formal creative education, transitioning from entirely different fields to build brands or join established houses. ✨

Here are three realistic paths into the profession:

Second Higher Education 🎓

If you already hold a degree, pursuing a second one in Fashion Design is a viable option. Age is not a barrier. This route provides structured academic training, though it can sometimes lean toward abstract theory rather than practical application, especially outside major cities. You will develop a sense of composition and harmony, but translating that into real-world collections may require additional effort.

Online Courses with Practicing Professionals 💻

Online programs taught by active industry professionals offer a concentrated, practical alternative. For example, courses led by practicing designers focus on the actual steps of creating a collection, mirroring the workflow used in real brands. This approach bridges the gap between theory and practice, providing knowledge that traditional university programs may overlook, such as the realities of capsule collection development and brand collaboration.

Self-Study Through Practice ✂️

The third path is learning by doing. Like being thrown into water and learning to swim, you dive into making clothes, make mistakes, and gradually develop an understanding over two to three years. This method works but requires patience and resilience. It is unstructured but deeply immersive.
Whichever path you choose, the key is consistent engagement with the craft. Whether through formal education, guided online learning, or independent experimentation, the journey begins with taking the first step. 🚀
