So recently, people in several groups have been offering paid Tuitions by showing proof how much they got in their qualifier examination.

I wouldn't offer the same but like to suggest you guys not to pay and instead learn from Khan Academy for Free.

This is no way an Advertisement, In case you don't know about Khan Academy, it's a Non Profit Organization that has been educating Students like us for free from 2008. They even have a special section for Indian Maths where you'll find most of the Topics Covered.

⚠️These Should be enough for you to clear Qualifier Exam with any paid Tuitions⚠️

Dear Candidates,

Several queries and comments have been made on various aspects of the foundational level processes. We thank you for your involvement and participation. From our side, we would like to put forth some responses to specific comments.

1. Where can I view my admission letter and other important documents?
Important documents are available inside your candidate dashboard under the documents tab on the left panel. Please log into bit.ly/onlinedegree_iitm with your registered email ID, you will be able to see the documents section

2. I have cleared my Qualifier exam but due to my personal circumstances I'm unable to register for Foundational level courses in this Jan 2020 intake, can I apply in May 2020 or Sep 2020 term with the same Qualifier mark?
The marks you have obtained (qualifier) are valid for 3 subsequent terms. So you can apply for the Jan 2020/May 2020/Sep 2020 term to continue with foundational level courses. There are no additional steps to defer the start. Please visit the website for regular updates and remain alert to when the form to register will be opened for each term and register accordingly. The validity of the qualifier score will expire after 3 terms and if you wish to join, say in Jan 2022, you will have to appear for the qualifiers again.

3. I cannot see the admission letter/ documents tab - missing tabs
Please clear the cache and cookies and then access the page, it is best to access the page using a desktop / laptop and NOT a mobile device.

4. I am a college dropout, what proofs should I submit in admission proof?
You can submit any of the following - your old ID card, admission letter, semester marksheet or any fee payment receipt from your college.

5. Can I change my photo/ signature which appears on the HT, certificate etc?
No, the photo that you submit with us while registering for the qualifier will be used for all purposes. If your photo is not clear or any other issues, our team will reach out to you.

6. Can I change my exam center after registering for the Term 1 Foundational Level courses?
Yes, we can accommodate the city change request until up to 6 weeks before the exam date. IIT Madras Online degree team reserves the final right to accept the request.

7. I have my EWS / OBC-NCL certificate but i do not have my Family Income certificate, can i avail fee waiver only by submitting the EWS / OBC-NCL certificate?
No, to avail fee waiver you will have to submit both EWS / OBC-NCL and Family income certificate

8. When will the documents submitted for foundational level be verified?
We are in the process of doing this and similar to the foundational level, we will update the status of the documents inside your login and also send you an email and sms. Please watch out for this. If not approved, you will be given time to resubmit documents once more or to pay additional fee if the fee waiver related documents are not approved.

9. While registering to the foundational level, it is asking for either a college admission proof or CA Inter/diploma certificate. Why is that?
We have found that many candidates seem to have selected year of passing std XII as 2019/2020 while filling the qualifier form while in reality they have passed std XII much before. To change this data is cumbersome and hence request you to do the following:
Submit the std XII or equivalent marksheet
Submit the degree certificate or employment proof as answer to the upload required for College admission proof.
Inform support@onlinedegree.iitm.ac.in about this. We will mark in exception and verify the documents accordingly.

10. When will we get our new email id and ID card?
It will be made available in the first week of Jan 2021. We will intimate you through email/sms.

11. When does the course start and when is the Quiz 2?
Course starts on Jan 4 2021 and Quiz 2 is on Jan 24, Sunday.
