🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The Commonwealth Games continue to demonstrate the power of sport to bring people together through shared values. 🥋

"It is a great pleasure to be in Glasgow and witness judo celebrated in such a multicultural environment, where the unique spirit of the Commonwealth Games is visible both on and off the tatami.
Together with IJF Secretary General Dr Lisa Allan, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Commonwealth Sport President Dr Donald Rukare, the Commonwealth Sport team, the Glasgow 2026 Organising Committee, the Presidents of the Commonwealth Judo Associations and Federations, and all participating delegations. Their dedication and commitment have truly reflected the values of judo - respect, friendship and fair play.
As we continue working together, I am confident that our shared values will further strengthen judo and inspire future generations around the world!”
