📌 Important points regarding MBA Application at IITs

1️⃣ Graduation Score
The minimum graduation score required for all 10 IITs is 60%, with a relaxation of 5% for SC, ST, and PWD candidates (IIT Kanpur offers a 10% relaxation).

2️⃣ Who can apply?
In addition to Engineers, all 10 IITs accept applications from non-engineers. Students with 3-year undergraduate programs are eligible to apply to all IITs, except IIT Kharagpur, which requires a 4-year graduation program. Additionally, candidates holding a master’s degree in any domain are eligible to apply to all IITs. IIT Mandi additionally needs students to have Mathematics in 12th.

3️⃣ CAT Sectional/Overall requirement
Most IITs do not have specific requirements regarding sectional performance. However, three programs have outlined minimum score requirements, while the rest have not indicated any such criteria.
- VGSOM IIT Kharagpur: General/EWS (90), OBC (81), SC/ST/PWD (60)
- IIT Jodhpur: General (80 Overall, 55 Sectional) | EWS/OBC (72 Overall, 49.5 Sectional) | SC/ST/PWD (52.8 Overall, 36.3 Sectional)
- IIT Kanpur: General/EWS/OBC (80 Overall), SC/ST (55 Overall)

4️⃣ CAT Score exemption
IIT Roorkee and IIT Madras provide CAT score exemptions for IIT graduates with a CGPA of 7+ and 8+, respectively. IIT Mandi provides CAT score exemption to students from CFTIs/Top 100 NIRF (overall/engineering)

5️⃣ Deadlines
- 24 January - Delhi
- 31 January - Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Jodhpur, Roorkee, Dhanbad, Mandi
- 5 February - Kharagpur (VGSOM MBA)
- 8 February - IIT Guwahati
- 15 February - Kharagpur (HSS MHRM)
