One of the reasons is due to our access to different liquidity sources as well as the ability to disable a specific DEX that is not serving us well at a given time.

For instance, if a particular DEX is undergoing some
maintenance and users need to refrain from using said DEX, the DEX can be excluded in the Injex protocol.

How do we do this ?

It is simple!

Head to the settings of the Injex protocol and manually select the specific DEX or DEXes to be excluded.

Note that a DEX must be included for transactions to go smoothly.

🚨A massive V2 upgrade coming on Injex and “Smart Auto Routing” will be introduced.

What is Smart Auto Routing 🚀and how will it be deployed?

To put in simpler terms, Smart Auto Routing is the mechanism where a trade follows a multiple-path routing process as opposed to one route in order to maximize benefits/best prices during exchanges.

To understand how it works, let’s give a scenario.

Let us take swapping a thousand USDT as an example:

To make a swap of 1000 USDT to INJ, Smart Auto Routing 🚀steps in to distribute the 1000 USDT between 2 of the DEXes with the best prices at the given time.

If these DEXes are Helix and Dojo , where 1 USDT = 0.03585 INJ on Helix and 1 USDT = 0.03586 INJ on Dojo respectively.

The favorable rate on Helix is only for up to 300 USDT, while on Dojo, it's for up to 400 USDT. 🔑

If the USDT amount exceeds these, the average INJ per 1 USDT drops below 0.0358 INJ.

That means 700 USDT out of the 1000 USDT which we want to swap will be exchanged at the best prices between the 2 DEXes (Helix and Dojo). 🎊

Then Injex finds 🔍other better routes to exchange the remaining 300 USDT.

In this case it chooses Astroport and decides to swap 300 USDT to wETH first , then wETH to INJ on Whitewhale at an average of 1 USDT = 0.03583 INJ which is the best route for that exchange.

With the help of the Smart Auto Routing 🚀 in the coming V2 upgrade, a 1000 USDT swap to INJ will be 35.848 INJ as opposed to swapping 1000 USDT to INJ on our current V1 which will yield 35.823 INJ.
