ట్యాంక్ నుండి సముద్రానికి

జీవితం ఒక నిరంతర ప్రయాణం. ఎదుగుదల జీవితానికి ఆలంబన. సముద్రం ఎన్నో నదులను కలుపుకుని మహా సముద్రంగా గుర్తింపు పొందుతుంది.

ఎదుగుదల అంటే కేవలం ఉన్నత స్థాయికి చేరుకోవడమే కాదు, స్వయాన్ని గుర్తించి, స్వీయాన్ని మలచుకోవడం. ఈ ఎదుగుదల ఒక కళ.

ఒక షార్క్ చేపను చిన్న ఫిష్ ట్యాంక్‌లో పెడితే అది ఎనిమిది అంగుళాలు మాత్రమే పెరుగుతుంది. కానీ అదే షార్క్ సముద్రంలో వదిలితే అది ఎనిమిది అడుగులకన్నా ఎక్కువగా ఎదుగుతుంది. తేడా చేపలో లేదు, అది ఉన్న పరిసరాల్లో ఉంది. అదే సూత్రం మన జీవితానికి కూడా వర్తిస్తుంది. మన వాతావరణం, మన ఆలోచనలు, మన స్నేహితులు ఇవే మన ఎదుగుదలకి పరిమాణం నిర్ణయిస్తాయి.

మనలో చాలా మంది ఆ ఫిష్ ట్యాంక్‌లో ఉన్న షార్క్‌లానే జీవిస్తున్నారు. పరిచయమైన వాతావరణంలోనే మమేకమై, సౌకర్యంగా అనిపించే జీవితాన్నే “భద్రత”గా భావిస్తూ జీవిస్తాం. కానీ ఆ భద్రతే మన ఎదుగుదలకి అడ్డుగోడ అవుతుంది. సౌకర్యం మనలోని ఉత్సాహాన్ని, తపనను, ఆసక్తిని మెల్లగా చంపేస్తుంది. మన కలలు చిన్నవవుతాయి, మన సామర్థ్యం అణగిపోతుంది. మనం ఆగిపోతాం, మనలో శక్తి లేక కాదు, మన పరిసరాలు మన ఎదుగుదలని ప్రోత్సహించకపోవడమే కారణం.

నిజమైన ఎదుగుదల సౌకర్యపు పరిధిని దాటి అడుగుపెట్టిన క్షణం నుంచే ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. మొదటి అడుగు భయానకంగా అనిపించవచ్చు, కానీ అదే అడుగు కొత్త అవకాశాల ప్రపంచాన్ని చూపిస్తుంది. జీవితంలో గొప్ప స్థాయికి ఎదిగిన ప్రతి వ్యక్తి ఒకప్పుడు సౌకర్యాన్ని వదిలి ధైర్యంగా ముందడుగు వేసాడు. ఎక్కువ శ్రమ, ఎక్కువ సృజనాత్మకత, ఎక్కువ సహనాన్ని అవసరమైన వాతావరణాల్లో తాను నిలబడే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. ప్రేరణ ఇచ్చే గురువులను, ప్రోత్సాహించే మిత్రులను, ఉత్తేజపరిచే సవాళ్లను వెతికాడు.

మన చుట్టూ ఉన్న వాతావరణం మన ఆలోచనల్ని తీర్చిదిద్దుతుంది. ఎప్పుడూ సమస్యల గురించే మాట్లాడే వారితో ఉంటే మనలో కూడా పరిమితి భావన పెరుగుతుంది. కానీ ఆలోచనలు, అభివృద్ధి, పరిష్కారాల గురించి మాట్లాడే వారితో ఉంటే మన మనసు విస్తరిస్తుంది. మన ఆలోచనల పరిమితులు చెదిరిపోతాయి. మనలోని శక్తి బయటకు వస్తుంది.

ఎదుగుదలకి సరిహద్దు లేదు. మనలో ఉన్న సామర్థ్యం అంతులేనిది. కానీ ఆ సామర్థ్యం బయటపడాలంటే సౌకర్యపు గోడలను దాటాలి. సముద్రం స్వేచ్ఛకి, విస్తృతతకి ప్రతీక. ట్యాంక్ మాత్రం భద్రతకి, సౌకర్యానికి సంకేతం, కానీ అది చిన్నది, పరిమితమైనది. మనం ట్యాంక్‌లో ఉండి బ్రతకవచ్చు, కానీ సముద్రంలోకి వెళ్లి మాత్రమే నిజంగా జీవించవచ్చు.

ఒక్కసారి ఆలోచించండి మీరు సౌకర్యంగా అనిపించే వాతావరణంలో ఉన్నారా, లేక మీ సామర్థ్యం విస్తరించే కొత్త ప్రపంచంలోకి అడుగుపెట్టడానికి సిద్ధమా? సౌకర్యం తాత్కాలిక సుఖం ఇస్తుంది, కానీ అది ఎప్పుడూ గొప్పతనాన్ని సృష్టించదు. నిజమైన మంత్రం సౌకర్యం ముగిసిన దగ్గర ప్రారంభమవుతుంది.

మన ఆలోచన, మన పరిసరాలు, ఈ రెండూ కలిసి మన గమ్యాన్ని నిర్ణయిస్తాయి. ఎదుగుదల వైపు మనసు, వాతావరణం రెండూ మలిచినప్పుడు మార్పు అనివార్యం అవుతుంది. మన చుట్టూ ఉన్న వాతావరణాన్ని, మన అలవాట్లను, మన స్నేహసంబంధాలను మార్చిన క్షణం నుంచే మన జీవితం కొత్త దిశలో సాగుతుంది.

గొప్పతనం ఎప్పటినుంచో మీలోనే ఉంది. అది ఎప్పుడూ కోల్పోలేదు, కేవలం సరైన వాతావరణం కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తోంది. సౌకర్యపు ట్యాంక్‌ నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చి మీ సముద్రంలోకి అడుగుపెట్టండి. అక్కడే మీ నిజమైన ఎదుగుదల మొదలవుతుంది.
