๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท๐๏ธโ Trump says US and Iranian officials will talk next week as ceasefire holds
๐ Associated Press
๐ Intel Slava - Over the last few hours the Secretary of Defense said there would be talks, Trump said there wouldnโt be and then announced talks with Iran next week that Iran has not confirmed (at least publicly) are happening.
The fragile ceasefire between Israel and Iran appeared to be holding on Wednesday while U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that U.S. and Iranian officials will talk next week, giving rise to cautious hope for longer-term peace even as Tehran insisted it will not give up its nuclear program.
Trump, who helped negotiate the ceasefire that took hold Tuesday on the 12th day of the war, told reporters at a NATO summit that he wasnโt particularly interested in restarting negotiations with Iran, insisting that U.S. strikes had destroyed its nuclear program. Earlier in the day, an Iranian official questioned whether the United States could be trusted after its weekend attack.
โWe may sign an agreement, I donโt know,โ Trump said. โThe way I look at it, they fought, the war is done.โ
Iran has not acknowledged any talks taking place next week, though U.S. Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff has said there has been direct and indirect communication between the countries. A sixth round of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran had been scheduled for earlier this month in Oman but was cancelled when Israel attacked Iran.

Tulsi Gabbard, citing new intelligence, said it would take years to restore Iran's nuclear infrastructure sites in Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan, damaged by recent strikes.
Gabbard said that to rebuild, Iran would "have to essentially build these facilities from scratch."
Let us recall that Trump earlier called the publications that reported that Iran had retained its nuclear potential fake.

๐ Iran Nuances
Iranโs parliament has overwhelmingly approved a bill mandating the government to suspend all cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UNโs nuclear watchdog. The move is a direct and forceful response to the โrecent aggression by Israel and the United Statesโ against Iranโs nuclear facilities.
In a charged session of the Majles, Iranโs parliament, lawmakers voted 221 to 0, with one abstention, to approve the general outlines of the bill on Wednesday. The final articles of the bill were later passed with a similar sweeping majority, cementing a stance that will see IAEA inspectors barred from the country and all monitoring activities halted.
The approved bill now requires final ratification from Iranโs Guardian Council, a 12-member body of jurists. They review the bill to ensure it does not contradict the Constitution of Iran and Islamic principles. Once approved in the Guardian Council, it is signed into law by the President and officially published, making it enforceable across the country.

๐ต๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๏ธโ - U.S. Makes New Push for Gaza Cease-Fire, Building on Iran Deal
๐ Wall Street Journal
The U.S. is making a fresh push in negotiations to end the fighting and free the hostages in Gaza, as President Trump hopes to build on the momentum of a deal that paused hostilities between Israel and Iran and bring an end to the conflict that sparked nearly two years of war in the Middle East.
While significant gaps remain between Israel and Hamas, Arab officials mediating the talks say both sides have shown an interest in getting a deal done. The mediators said they are in talks with both sides by telephone, adding they could soon meet in Egypt, which along with Qatar has helped the U.S. broker the Gaza talks.
On Wednesday, President Trump said that the cease-fire between Israel and Iran has improved the atmosphere of talks around the fighting in Gaza. โI think great progress is being made on Gaza,โ Trump told reporters at the NATO summit in The Hague. โI think weโre going to have some very good news.โ
Trump said he was recently briefed about developments in the talks by special envoy Steve Witkoff. โHe did tell me that Gaza is very close,โ Trump said.

โผ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ Israelโs military said to be running low on some key weaponry -
๐ NBC News
Israelโs military is running low on some key weaponry as Trump tries to hold together a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Iran, according to three U.S. officials.
Israel is specifically low on munitions, two of the officials said.
The shortage comes amid tensions between Trump and Netanyahu over Trumpโs push for a ceasefire after 12 days of strikes between Israel and Iran.
A spokesperson for the Israeli government did not respond to a request for comment.
A defense official declined to comment.
At the same time, acting Chief of Naval Operations James Kilby testified today before the Senate that while the U.S. Navy has enough of the missiles it needs to defend Israel, the United States is using them โat an alarming rate.โ
The United States has helped defend Israel against a barrage of Iranian attacks in the past two weeks.
