🇺🇲 A new problem has been found in Boeing aircraft - hundreds of incorrectly installed fasteners on the fuselages of the 787 Dreamliner model.

Reuters writes about this, citing two sources familiar with the situation. It is reported that these are "undelivered aircraft" - that is, they are not yet carrying passengers.

According to agency sources, the problem is the incorrect "tightening at the Boeing plant of more than 900 fasteners, which are "evenly distributed between both sides of the aircraft's midsection."

While there are no immediate safety concerns about the aircraft, Boeing is working to determine what caused the problem and whether improvements are needed.

“The fleet of aircraft currently in service can continue to operate safely,” a company spokesman said in a comment to the agency.

Recently, Boeing has been subject to many complaints about the quality of its aircraft. The industry says that Boeing was "ruined by the greed of shareholders and top management."

🇷🇺🇺🇲🇪🇺 Gas imports to Europe from Russia in May exceeded supplies from the United States for the first time in two years, writes the Financial Times.

Last month, Russian pipeline gas and LNG supplies accounted for 15 percent of total supplies to the EU, as well as the UK, Switzerland, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia, according to data analytics firm ICIS.

The share of liquefied natural gas from the United States was 14 percent, the lowest since August 2022.

The growth was mainly due to an increase in supplies of Russian LNG - due to the failure of one of the American export facilities. Russia has also sent more gas through Turkey ahead of scheduled maintenance in June.
