🇸🇪🇷🇺Sweden has seized a second ship off the coast of the city of Trelleborg. This time, Swedish law enforcement boarded the tanker Sea Owl I, which was flying the flag of the Comoros Islands.

The Swedish Coast Guard states that Sea Owl I is suspected of using a "false flag". The vessel has been under sanctions since 2025 for transporting Russian oil.

Just a few days ago in the same area, Sweden detained the sanctioned dry cargo ship Caffa, which was heading to St. Petersburg under the flag of Guinea. It was also accused of flag manipulations.
