Security Group is a feature developed by @inter_link to replace the inefficiencies of traditional Proof of Personhood through Individual Mining. So, what exactly is Individual Mining, and how does it differ from Group Mining?

1️⃣ Individual Mining
Today, each Human Node works independently. Through Individual Mining, nodes expand rapidly by growing their Expanded Nodes, enabling scale across the network. Individual Mining validation follows a one-way declaration model, where each node focuses on its own activity and consistency. As long as the node remains active, it continues to accumulate $ITLG, strengthening both its own position and the overall Human Network. This model highlights scalability and active participation as the core drivers of growth.

2️⃣ Group Mining (Security Group Model)
While on the other hand, Security Group Model is proven to be more superior in security and quality-driven. With Security Groups, Human Nodes can operate in human-node clusters (group) of 5 Human Nodes, this activate the use of multi-node consensus. This means, each node verifies the others, forming a closed-loop trust network. This strengthens the Human Network, raises trust levels. This in fact brings significant long-term benefits to all verified users operating in that Security Group. Furthermore, Security risks also improves, hacker attacks now require bypassing multi-node consensus across multiple nodes, which is far more costly and difficult.

However, the challenge lies in carefully selecting group members. To maintain high trust and quality, each Security Group must be composed of reliable members. Therefore, before the official launch of Security Groups, users must consider their group composition carefully in order to fully leverage the benefits of Group Mining.

Ever wonder how $100 can control a $10K or $100K position? That’s leverage. And on ITLX Perps, @itlx_defi wallet offers up to 100× leverage, with near-zero gas fees, a zero-slippage matching model, and a CEX-like experience. That means speed, efficiency, and precision - but also risk, because leverage amplifies both profits and losses.

The mechanism is straightforward. You post initial margin: say $100 for 100× leverage, while liquidity providers (market makers, LPs, and the protocol’s risk engine) supply the rest. In this example, your equity is $100, and the providers cover the other $9,900 as a loan, earning interest in return. Your equity absorbs profit and loss; providers earn fees and funding. This structure mirrors advanced orderbook + risk models.

Talking about Risk engine, there are two margin thresholds matter:
🟢 Maintenance Margin (MM): the minimum equity to keep a position open.
🟢 Initial Margin (IM): equity required to open/resize.
When Equity ≤ MM, the risk engine triggers a partial liquidation (reduce-only) to lower exposure. If account equity continues to fall, a full liquidation is executed to close the position entirely. To mitigate extreme market events, an insurance fund and auto-deleverage (ADL) system provide an additional layer of protection.

At @itlx_defi Wallet, execution is optimized: quotes are sourced off-chain in microseconds, then settled on-chain with batched transactions. This enables accurate fills with minimal slippage and almost zero gas cost.

Another term that you need to know is funding rates tie perp prices to spot indexes. The funding rate is a periodic payment exchanged between traders in a perpetual futures (perps) market. It exists because perpetuals don’t have an expiry date, so the mechanism keeps the perp price anchored to the spot index price.

- When the perp trades above spot: the funding rate is positive → Longs pay shorts, discouraging excessive long positions and pushing the perp price back down toward spot.
- When the perp trades below spot: the funding rate is negative → Shorts pay longs, discouraging excessive shorts and pulling the perp price back up toward spot.

Traders can design strategies around this: capturing basis between spot and perp, or holding delta-neutral hedges to harvest funding yields.

The golden rule? Always know your margin, liquidation price, and funding. Perps can multiply opportunity, or wipe you out overnight.
